Aria smiled and looked at the doors again. I'll have to go in sometime..
"Well that's good. That means that next time I'll have to try harder."
She stepped up to her door and took out her keys then turned around and ran up to Daren.
"Do I have to do everything?"
She kissed him very quickly and then sped back up to her door.
"Goodnight Edward." she joked and walked inside.

"Finally." Lucky whispered.
"It was about time." Will added.
Both guys decided to wait until Daren actually started walking away from the house before they made their move.

Veto and his peeps glanced at Dante's house from across the street.
"He seriously has bouncers?" one of the friends said.
"And I thought this was going to be a friendly meeting." Veto added sarcastically.
((You're very welcome! And Idk, I didn't think that through. I would say Aria could come visit you, but she has no idea where you live >.>"))

The two guys that were standing outside of Dante's door went inside. They came up to Dante who was talking to one of the newer guys.
"So yeah man. I'll end up having you do a little bit of work around the house if you want. It really needs it." Dante told the guy.
One of the "bouncers" tapped Dante on the shoulder. Dante turned around.
"Yeah guys?" Dante said cautiously. He knew this couldn't be well if they were coming up to him.
"I think we may have a little company across the street. There's been this car sitting there with people inside of it for a while now." Diesel said.
"Dammit. Go stand by the door, but stay inside. Clothes the curtains." Dante said as he put down his drink.
He went up to Chaz and Dan, who were going to take shift next, and talked with them.
"Guys we have a situation. There's a car outside and it's been there for a while. Turn off the lights for the back, and go out the back door. Each of you take a side of the house and watch. Take Kevin and Matt with you. Don't get seen either." They went and got the other guys and did as they were told.
Dante went out to the living room. "Keep on partying, but just be a little cautious. We may have company. Remember NO weapons!" Dante yelled. He went to the front door and walked outside. He looked at the car across the street, and the two were right, there were people inside. He smiled at the thought of Veto having the guts to actually show up to his house. I'm surprised Dante thought. He continued to stare at the car, and he gave a friendly nod to the people inside. He was toying with them. He wanted Veto to do something, but then again he didn't. He would talk with him, but he wasn't going to put up with the crap that Veto would deal.

Daren smiled, still feeling her kiss on his cheek as he walked down the sidewalk, blocks away from her house now. He walked faster, feeling like he was being followed. He didn't look back, now almost at a jog. He came upon the house that he heard music coming from earlier, but now the music was slower and more quieter than earlier, almost like the party itself were being careful. He looked around the empty street with narrowed eyes, still suspicious. There was only one car on the street, and it seemed only a couple of people were in it, leaning back and watching the house. He felt a chill and hoped those people were on the party's side, not there to crash it. He walked up the drive way and stopped, seeing a dark figure standing there watching the car. Daren raised an eyebrow and walked up to the guy, asking softly, "This your party?"

Dante saw someone walking up his driveway. He looked familiar, as if they met before, and after Dante thought about it.....they did. It was that kid from earlier. He tried to think what his name was. Derek? No wait it's Daren he thought as the kid came up to him. He looked at Daren, "You're that kid from earlier. You bumped into Victoria or something." Dante looked the kid up and down. "Is this my party? Maybe it is depending on who's asking. Is there a problem?" What was this kid thinking? Coming up to Dante's house and confronting him, this kid must be crazy! Dante took his hands out his pockets and turned his attention to Daren. Dante looked at the car off and on to see if Veto was going to make a move.

"Aria where have you been? It's almost 12!"
"Yes mother, I understand what time it is."
"Are you back sassing me?!"
"Goodnight mother."
Aria left the conversation at that and ran up to her room. She hoped her mom would take a hint and leave her alone so she could relive her night. Luckily her father was working late.

"Damnit, that's Dante's house." Lucky cursed.
"s**t. We can't do anything now." said Will.
"Look it's V."
They crossed the street and walked up to Veto's car. Veto himself looked tense.
"What's up?" Lucky asked.
"Dante has himself a welcoming committee."

Daren smiled nervously at Dante, feeling tension in the air. He glanced back at the car, because Dante seemed to feel weird about it. Daren saw two more guys walk up to the car and Daren turned back, clearing his throat. Again, he shoved his hands in his pockets, feeling like he didn't belong. "Look, not like it's any of my business, but are you okay? You seem nervous or something.." He drifted off, meeting Dante's gaze.

Dante saw two guys go to Veto's car, and they came from where Daren came from, so Dante snapped. "Am I ok!" Dante took a step forward. "You little piece of s**t! You bring more trouble to my house!" Dante was furious. Why else would they come from that direction out of no where. Dante reached down in his boot in a swift manner. He pulled his boot knife out and stuck it to Daren's throat. "I already have enough trouble without your little weak self. And now I got even more guys that were probably following you arriving." Dante held it there and his hand was shaking. "You should be asking yourself if you're ok right about now." Dante lifted up his leg and put his knife back in his boot. He looked Daren right in the eyes. Dante began to think as he held Daren by his shirt. Why would they be following this kid? He must not be on good terms with them either. "You're one lucky kid right now, you know that? They wouldn't be following you unless you did something." Dante began to think for a minute. He came up with an idea. He couldn't let Veto and his gang get this kid, and he couldn't just kick him to the street. "Get in my house now. Tell the guys at the door that a few more of Veto's thugs arrived. They know about everything. Then go up the stairs and go in the first door on the left. That's my room. Lock the door and don't leave or go through anything." He pulled Daren around himself and pushed him towards the door. "Now go!"

Pure terror sent a shock through Daren as he felt the knife against his throat. He closed his eyes, praying to himself. Suddenly he felt himself being yelled at, then Dante stopped and gave him directions, and pushed him towards the house. He nodded, feeling faint, and rushed up to the door and threw it open, seeing two big guys at the front. He squeaked out, "Dante says that two more friends of Veto arrived." He went up the stairs quickly and flew open the door on the left. He opened it and then locked it behind him, breathing hard. What the hell, he thought shakily.

Dante watched the car. What do they plan on doing? Dante thought as he backed up towards the door. He opened the door and went inside. "Diesel. Veto's out there with a what looks like a car full. Two of his goons were following that kid that ran in here. I'm not sure what's going on but be prepared." Diesel just nodded. He knew that what Dante said was truth and that he wouldn't exaggerate. Dante turned to the party who turned off the music and put down their drinks. He pointed to a group of 5 people: Xavier, James, Theo, Nathan, and Paul, "You all have something to protect yourselves?" Dante asked them. They were not drunk since they never really partied. They nodded. "Alright keep it ready just in case. Don't show it until I crack my neck." They nodded again. Dante ran to the back. He quietly whispered, "Listen guys be prepared. Don't show the weapons until it's necessary. If you hear anything serious come around them and do what's necessary." Dante went back inside and sat down, waiting for what would happen next.

Aria reached her room and locked the door. She changed into black and white sweatpants and a white t-shirt, then grabbed a black hoodie and threw it on.
"It's been a long time since I've done this."
She was happy that her window was huge as it made it easier to escape her parents tyranny. She climbed out onto the roof and then lowered herself down and let go. She fell to the ground with a thud and hurridly got up.
"Hopefully Dante doesn't mind my dropping by.." she smiled knowing he would. She hurried to his back door and saw some huge guys she'd never seen before sitting there.
"Sup?" she said calmly.

Chaz, Dan, Kevin, and Matt looked at Aria.
"What the-" Chaz stopped. "Do you realize what's happening right now?" Chaz yelled softly.
Dan joined in, "Dante wouldn't want you right now Aria. Trust me. Things are about to go down."
Matt went up to her, "Veto is out front with his goons in a car. Dante didn't do anything and they show up. Things are not about to go well."
All they could do was look at her. Kevin took it upon himself to take her in the house. "Get inside now. Dante is inside. Go talk to him." He went back outside and they all went back to their spots

Aria looked around at the drunk, not so drunk, and sober guys that scattered Dante's house. She pushed through the crowded space until she found Dante.
"What the fudge is Veto doing in a car outside your house!?...I'm going to go see what the hell he wants." she said heading for the front door.

Dante jumped when he saw Aria walk through. He grabbed her as she went for the door. "Aria, I'm not sure what you're doing here, but stop!" He backed her away from the door. "What ever you do don't go out there. Just listen to me about this." Dante shook his head. Why can't I have one decent night! He sat her down on the couch. "We were trying to have a party. That was it, then he showed up in front of my house. Then his goons were chasing some kid named Daren, and I almost killed his a** when he came here, but he's locked up in my room. He's lucky I decided to have a heart for once." Dante was confused. He was not letting her go out there not at all.

Aria looked at Dante, dumbfounded.
"Daren's here? Like Daren I just went out-- I mean....Why the hell was he being followed?" she asked.
She already knew the answer of course and she mentally called Veto every awful name in the book.

"What's with that kid? He even got you with his charm, and I tried my hardest with Victoria." Dante shut his mouth after that for a few minutes. He just admitted something that wasn't like him.
"Well he was being followed. So I'm assuming you were also being followed, so there's your answer." Dante sat there for a moment. He wanted to go out there and just blow Veto's head off, but that would just cause more problems. He didn't know what to do. He looked at one of the drunks on the floor. "You give me your gun." Dante told him. The drunk guy obliged and handed it to him. Dante checked it. He cleaned it off with his shirt. He then put on the gloves on the end table. He took the gun off his lap and put it under the cushion on the couch. "Aria don't ask. We were tipped that things would be tense tonight. Don't worry I'll handle it." He looked at her. He could sense that he was scared. He was scared just like the day Alex died. He felt the same feelings when Veto's goon aimed the gun at him. The only way you could tell was by his eyes. Dante never showed it on his face.
