CB32 is for flavor. I do suppose that Shinsua's Hojo 'line needs to be updated with better descriptions and/or effects, though. >.< It was made far previous to many of today's systems. (a few others, too, will need it)
Ergo War
Perhaps Ergo would better know the tai-style questions.
The descriptives are there for flavor, until they reach the 6th tier (supremely), at which point it becomes a solid rank higher. There are no true, hard-fast exchanges, but common sense does apply, as well as the inherent stamina or chakra within each technique. While most chakra versus interactions can be decided by which is performing at a higher rank, maneuverability of even low stamina can change the game. Without going into overly complex detail, the descriptives simply help those rp-ing to describe their situation.
A non-chakra, with-chakra, without stamina, with stamina, et cetera example: A Greatly punch versus a Slightly block, "The onslaught of his attack was etching away at my meager defense, though it still stood tall as he ran out of steam." Without further context, we could guess to say that the defender was using chakra while the attacker was using stamina, given the outcome, or maybe both were using stamina but the defender had a higher tier. In this last case, if the attacker had Supremely, they'd be on a more level playing field with the defender's stamina output, but with using less stamina. In the long run, if this same situation persisted and both players had equal starting stamina, the attacker would win.

Would it be possible to adapt a given Fuunin jutsu like "Kuchiyose • Aian Meiden [ Summoning • Iron Maiden ]" to work with ulterior objects to trap your pray in?
Say custom puppets or puppets made trough the smiting system to facilitate the effects of the fuunin as long as it's leaned. I've this concept of making "Iron Maiden" inspired puppets to work along with this jutsu that give chase and completes the jutsu upon capture, but I'm not sure if the jutsu can be adapted this way with out customs or just work off the original.
If you happen to have something that can remotely start the fuuin, its Kugutsu-based usage would be fine. Changing it slightly would be a great idea for a custom technique!
Fair enough, but what i was thinking about is how some jutsu I read before could be altered slightly by retraining them. no so much training to increase rank as with X-rank jutsu, but jut training to shift some point about the normal description.
Yet for what I'm looking for with the adaptation I do get where it would be more over a custom, but I still need to learn the original to know what to adapt. Essentially remote activation would similar to my former set up with my previous puppeteer Michael Shishio, where the ink used print out fuuin seals were already set with blood in it's mix and just supply the kugutsu charka worked the mechanisms to activate the fuuin. also isn't Kugutsu naturally compatible with remote fuuin
A lot of their more advanced techniques are just that. The thousand arms technique(kaifu to be exact), and the light shield technique are just two to name a few that come to mind. So wouldn't I only need to prepare the fuuin and a biological trigger like blood or some portion of of myself affixed to a tool to cause the seal to open?
Looks like you're finding non-chakra ways to deal with concerns as they're brought to the forefront. If you have a Fuuin that has its trigger be 'detects blood, then uses stored chakra to activate any connected fuuin', then yes. (this can be done, with a certain fuuin combination) Blood by itself can't activate anything unless such a clever trigger is set. (or blood is part of a custom or the blood 'line)
In other news, we're looking into ways of expanding the Kugutsu list, and how we might be able to do so without directly invading another element's territory. It does look like we have some quite insightful folks these days!
Korabo Ninjutsu [ Collaborative Ninjutsu ], Can you do this with a shadow clone? I know you can train with another RPC or even a summon to perform it but I was wondering if it was possible with shadow clones as well since they're physically real so to speak and share you entire chakra pool it would be like a doubling in the tax on your chakra to increase the attack by a rank.

This line from the performer class "• Ninjutsu and Genjutsu are split between elemental affinities and styles, respectively. " Just means that my sum total of ninjutsu is split between my elements (excluding maruton) and genjutsu is for each listed "style" such as cloud, sand, leaf, etc. ? Cause I'm no sure if it does that or not.

Yes to both. For the Ninjutsu and Genjutsu splitting, though, it only splits the slots granted by that class. Hope that helps!

The thing about that is how do you split genjutsu? and if that's the case would that mean 2 ninjutsu go to each element I pick and maruton?
I though it could be according to the school of genjutsu but then that makes me wonder if the limit of "splitting" is the number of schools such as Leaf, cloud, and sound, etc. Then I can essentially have one from each. Just tell me where I might be wrong here. Edit: Wait I think you just answered that, sorry Ill move on with the Genjutsu thing but the maruton bit I figure is just like Ninjutsu.
How would one go about challenging the balancing of a bloodline? Or two? I personally feel that the Sharingan, while canon, is overbalanced compared to every other bloodline in the fact that it gives so much with very little to actually count as a negative. The Canon doujutsu was designed to be a powerhouse, and in fact was one of the two things to come from the foundation of the Shinobi way of life. As such, it serves more as a living plot device, and in this guild maintains much of that power. I personally feel that it can, and should, be brought down to be on par with the other bloodlines and doujutsu, or the others increased in such a way as to become even with it.
Similarly, I feel that the Senju have received an overwhelming "buff" that no other clan can compare to in the form of +320 chakra points to any character starting out. While canon does say that the bloodline does provide extra chakra, the amount given is simply too much. A Ninjutsu character with it receives an absolutely massive bonus, having their chakra reservoirs doubled, while there is nothing, not a single thing, in this guild to give an equivalent number to the Chakra pool or Stamina pool. The closest is Sage Mode, which, at Jounin, grants a three hundred [300] point increase to Chakra. Meaning a Jounin gets, for taking on the intensive training of the Sage Mode, twenty chakra less than a Senju Genin gets from just starting out. Even the Uzumaki, which are also said to have deep chakra pools, get less than one hundred [100]. This is, again, another example of something canon that simply is too powerful within this guild. Personally, I would put it at the same level as the Uzumaki, and that would be considered fair.
I would challenge, too, the Speed Release, but more for the fact that the clan has nearly nothing at all to do with speed.
I would challenge the Sakkakugan, but for more than balancing reasons. Firstly, the Sakkakugan has the ability to shut down other Doujutsu and Bloodlines, but there is nothing that really makes reference to that within the Naruto world. This doujutsu is supposed to be all about Genjutsu, considering it restricts learning anything Taijutsu or Bukijutsu due to frail bodies, and required the Genjutsu class. And yet, overall, more than half of their doujutsu involve breaking others away from their bloodlines. This makes no sense, and should either be removed entirely and placed within its own, special Bloodline, or removed entirely. While it does act as a "sort of" balance to the Uchiha, in point of fact it does no such thing. The Uchiha are able to utilize all of their powers with no physical requirements, no loss of taijutsu/bukijutsu abilities, no force class choice, nothing. The Sakkakugan, in short, has two flaws. Firstly, it is an amazingly erratic, senseless bloodline that does by no means have much at all to deal with Genjutsu, despite this being the "doujutsu for Genjutsu". That distinction lies with the Uchiha, which again makes the supposed "point" of this bloodline moot. Secondly, the bloodline restricts choices of playable characters to those without any ability, at all, to learn Bukijutsu or Taijutsu, and in all reality that, too, would mean the Formless Styles that involve any sort of physical movement, restricting all slots to Soft or Hard Mental choices alone. It requires the character select Genjutsu as one of their classes to even obtain it, and while some of the "techniques" learned can be really good to augment Genjutsu, there are relatively simple ways of overcoming them, and in fact only outright force people to play illusions the way they have always been meant to be played. So with so much restriction, there is extremely little gain. A long list of "bloodline" techniques would be beneficial, as well as general guidelines to the "split personality" that is required to be obtained from the bloodline itself, based upon the description given. In short, the Sakkakugan is at the same time too powerful, and too weak. I feel overall, it needs a rebalance, as all of the bloodlines and clans do.
→→→ An idea for this would be to take the Sakkakugan, and split it into two entirely separate bloodlines, or clans. This was suggested before a few years ago, and received heavy resistance from the moderation team, and yet given the amount of hate that has continued for the bloodline I feel it is now more than ever an imperative to be considered. Given my length of study and the time I've had this bloodline, as well as my experience with Illusion from many real world and canon sources, I feel I could be of great help in this.
So how would I go about trying to get any of these points changed, altered, or in some way addressed?

When I first joined, I was so happy and anxious to meet new people and rp with them. That mood is long gone. While I am grateful for this guild, I wouldn't become fast friends for few people but I saw few issues that just.. bothers me.
The lack of communication what is going on. You may try to keep it behind doors or buried in a grave but many members already know of this. There's no communications between mods. It's usually disrespect throwing around and if a member ask someone, they would just simply go "Oh no, we are talking about this, don't worry!" But in another message and behind closed doors, there's no talking. No communication. Nothing. I wanted to leave the guild, but the people I made friends with, I didn't want to abandoned them and have them watch the fire and there's nothing they could do to put out the flames. Or have them watch looking over their shoulder, wondering if they would be stabbed next.
Not only that, you guys are making the new and not fixing the old. This causes confusion and misunderstanding between mods and members. Mods had been here long enough that they know the answer to our questions but I can see that it's taking the toll on the mods when they have to answer the questions that we apparently cannot find in the guild.
Like... I wasn't able to find what a C-rank Genin benefits are. I was told that it's the same as Chuunin except we don't get to learn the techniques a Chuunin can but everything else we get.
If you guys really want this guild to survive and thrive, you have to communicate.
Backstabbing and two facing are what I called, guild killers. It killed a popular bleach guild I was once in. No one one had rp there in years.
Don't let this happen to Shinobi Nation. If your mind becomes all "No it won't happen" Then start avoiding it by learning how to communicate properly among people.
I decided to wait a month. I am a passive person by nature. It has however, become rather apparent. Lily voiced her opinion on lack of 'moderator communication' I now voice my opinion on moderator 'lack of action'.
Quote:

You as a moderator recognized a problem. The typical response is to take action. If something needs to update then update it or assign someone to do so. If there are things that do not synchronize with how things were run to how things are run in the present there becomes a lack of understanding. Naturally, something that was made by someone else or was formerly someone else's duty in this case "Shinsua" someone typically does not wish to step on toes by doing something outside what they would call 'their jurisdiction' but when the individuals who are responsible are occupied then it has to fall into another's chain of command simply so it can just 'get done' and make progress rather than stagnate.

Perhaps Ergo would better know the tai-style questions.
You quoted a fellow moderator for assistance in an area you weren't well versed in. An ideal example of moderator co-operation. However, the answer over the months course was never provided. Ultimately it was ignored. It shouldn't be a member's responsibility to have to re-inquire. In the time this was proposed Ergo answered Elyse's questions and went to produce more combat styles. To err is human. However, to reinforce Lily's statement.
Quote:

Using Kanboku as my example. There is no Finesse stat. Mam you've confirmed there are no stats in this guild at all anymore. The image for the style has been broken since I joined the guild and then we add a third page of styles without reviewing and fixing the old. An old but still relevant complaint was the length of time it took for customs to be reviewed be it weapon or jutsu or otherwise. I'll be honest. The length of time it's taken in the past has truthfully deterred me wanting to produce anymore. And it is not just me. I have seen the complaints in multiple chats via skype. A stagnation of creativity shouldn't be something a guild should have to be burdened with. Another thing is wording discrepancies. I will use Aburame in this case. It's stated the insects eat chakra. Although much like I have faced in Kasai, Ceremonial Blend 32, and various other skills there is no specification. How much chakra 1 per insect? The skills rank in chakra? A percentage of chakra?
Now the reality of what I've seen from this guild. There is an obvious Bad Blood between the moderators. Name's won't be stated for obvious reason as we/most of us all know. As to who's on whose side? Well there shouldn't be sides in the first place. What I've seen is an Old Money Vs New Money Scenario. The original moderators are fearful of the new moderators destroying what the old had envisioned. I will be deathly honest despite the bad blood betwixt the moderators the ones falling under New Money have proven to shown the greatest interest in the members of trying to rebalance the guild and keep it alive but their power is clearly limited by the Old Money authority unless they face persecution for any actions they take. My Opinion. A Neutral Member's Opinion. Which could be worthless depending on subjective thoughts and rooted bias is. Give the New Money the reigns. It's been clear for awhile that the Old Moderators have a lot on their plates. Work,School, Even Children. When Jax one of the older mods could not fulfill his duties because of his busy goings on in his real life the active mods of this time stepped in and took it upon themselves to take action by handling the bloodline list update on their own. This has nay 'NEEDS' to happen more often.
When the current enacting moderators change something let the old put it under review when they get the chance. Create a civil discussion and perhaps create a group forum where the members can also contribute their opinions so that a compromise can be made. There may be tensions among the moderators but when you are the hierarchs to a group of people you need to put those biases aside for their sake as a community. You are the driving forces of the guild and the members are your motors. A driving force is useless without it's motor and motors are just lumps waiting for something to put themselves in. ~~~~~~~~~~~
This Following is feedback for Lan. In regard to Doujutsu I haven't invested much of my time and thought into them to of any actual use for feedback. I am to hope the moderators in charge of this will address this.
My idea of rebalancing the Senju will still result in a total increase of 320 Chakra. As a Genin the Senju will receive 70+ of the 320 This will increase to a total of 140 at Chunin and 200 at Jounin. Finally upon reaching Konin they receive the final 120 showing their mastery. This method allows that a total loss of the Chakra isn't actually occurring but prevents anyone from creating excessively large Chakra tanks early on. Since a Sage mode increase warrants 300 at Jounin a full 320 at Konin seems fair.
In regards to the Sakkakugan. I may not be too well versed but the ability to neutralize Doujutsu has been a small recurrence in some techniques I've seen. It's true I believe their aren't many the only one I can think of off the top of my head is Heaven's Riches's ability to cripple Doujutsu users. The fragility of the user I believe is ideally balanced by the final learned skill in the tree of making Genjutsu a reality. Seeing as it overcomes the weakness of being physically inept by producing things to compensate for said physical ineptness. If the Sharingan can make Genjutsu real as well then I can see your reasoning as to why it's underpowered. This opinion is to be taken with grain of salt since I again have no in depthly read into Doujutsu.
Finally in response to your opinions of meeting with heavy resistance from the moderation team. A public forum as per my suggestion I believe would remedy this as we the members would actively be able to see both sides points and as if by a democratic ruling aid in the overall decision of it's approval or denial. Making such discussions open to public, revealing why it was met with heavy resistance will expose the moderators thought processes and the thought processes of their community.

I'm very sorry for not addressing your question! It came during finals week for me and completely slipped my mind afterward. That was entirely my fault. To answer the question posed back then:
Many of the discrepancies between how things are described arise from different creators. Going down the list, I would rule that strength and power are most likely one and the same, as are agility, mobility, evasion, and the "moving in tight spaces" thing. It seems that the Styles are a lot less homogeneous in their descriptive ranks than I'd been assuming, so they definitely need to be standardized and re-released.
If Lily's question regarding body vs. title rank hasn't been resolved: Title rank is what your Kage gives you and grants you access to higher levels of scrolls as you increase in it. It's not strictly controlled by AC. Body rank is what you're treated as for anything combat-related and for gaining Chakra/Stamina/etc., so a C-Rank Genin would have the Chakra and Stamina increases from their classes for reaching C-Rank but would be treated as a Genin when trying to get scrolls to learn from.
I wouldn't mind having a debate area where people can weigh in on major updates or submit their ideas for additions, be they Styles, Jutsu, systems, etc.
On the subject of the Senju, I have no objection to scaling the Chakra gains across a Shinobi's career. They canonically have "powerful Chakra", so I'm not sure about reducing what they have, but it does seem a bit odd that a Genin would be so much more powerful than one of their colleagues simply based on their bloodline. Adding in a smaller amount of Chakra at the beginning, when it makes a big impact, and then adding in the rest later, when it will make a lesser impact, makes sense to me. 320 Chakra at Konin is a lot less a buff than 320 Chakra at Genin, even if the net effects are the same. The Uzumaki have a deep Chakra pool as well, but are only distant relations to the Senju. Mechanically, I'm not sure of the balance because I'm not as familiar with the two of them.
Sakkakugan is well outside my typical realm since I don't use Genjutsu very often (if ever), so take my feedback on your ideas with a grain of salt here, Lanny. My worry with splitting it up is that Ranmaru's eyes possess the ability to interfere with other Doujutsu as well as create powerful illusions (Source), so simply from a standpoint of "was this shown in the series", I don't know where you'd draw the line. If you were to split it between the illusions and the Doujutsu interference, I'd worry about diluting both abilities or running into overlap with other bloodlines. In short, if anything, I'd need to see a write-up of the proposed split.

Thanks I figured as much, but I'm personally not considering the guild and anime lists individual schools., but one miscellaneous one.
May I make an insect breeding guide and send it to you for review? Since there really isn't one for the Aburame.
I'd also like to propose that if you do allow me to make this list, that it be open to all the Aburame. I'd also say putting a maximum breed per body per encounter could be a way balancing it. Aesthetic breeds can be added to list purely for Flavor without needing approval while incredibly convoluted breeds could be reviewed for approval in a breed approval thread.
or Example Four Breeds Per Body, Per Encounter, Swapping Breeds is possible with known Breeds.
Ultimately this balances the early clans lack of Bloodline jutsu they can use from insect caps early on by compensating by focusing on breeding like the Aburame do.
