There may be many fish in the sea, but Desu-chan's the only one for me ♥

She had won and Cady had lost! Ash threw her arms up into the air and promptly strutted around in a circle, lifting her arms up at the elbows and kicking her feet out in a march-like step, her head cocked to one side as her wide, sharp-toothed grin flashed. Things were starting to look up for her!

She gently put a hand on Cady's shoulder, her grin still there as she spoke in what she hoped was consoling. Except it really probably wasn't, such was the jubilation she felt. "It's okay. Here, let's try the fishing game, hm? Do you like fish?"

Again Ash took hold of Cady, this time by the hand, and led her over towards where the tank was. Colorful little fish swum around and around inside. "Here watch. You take one of these. And then you just..." The banshee took up one of the weird paper net contraptions and plunged it into the water, aiming for a fish.

The net set most of them fleeing to all corners of the tank where her hand wasn't. She tried to scoop up one of the stragglers but the paper of the net tore and the fish went free.

Ash threw it to the side and pouted. What had happened to her winning spree? "You try." She watched, expecting failure. Something like this took a fine touch and if Aislin had learned anything about the Monster ghoul it was that she wasn't exactly the most gentle.

As quickly as he could, Cat scurried after the girls to watch how the game went. He was pleased they were engaging in some friendly gambling, a sport he certainly enjoyed, but they were beginning to get hard to keep up with.

Tugging on some spare ribbons from his arm down to attempt to replace the missing hand (who knew fish ate SHADOWS!) he moved to watch their latest game.

"Oh, yeah, it's no big deal!" Cady rallied quickly as she was led to yet another game. This was really fun. She watched again as Ash showed her how to play, and selected her own net, watching the fish's movements carefully as Ash tried to navigate one into a net. This must be where the water she drank earlier came from - it explained the fishy taste.

"Oh, wow, you know I don't think paper nets were really the best idea," she said as Ash's net tore. She twirled her own net in her hand. This...might prove difficult for her less than subtle approach.

...Whatever. Cady plunged her hand into the tank up to her elbow, sweeping her arm around randomly and hoping to catch one of the colorful fish off guard. Unfortunately, all her random flailing seemed to accomplish was getting her clothes wet. She laughed - water was fun, as long as it wasn't a BATH. Using what was left of her net, she splashed water out in the direction of Ash and Cat.

She shot a small friendly smile over at Xiu hoping that it didn't suddenly make the frightened ghoul flee, "Danke meine freundin," she slipped sometimes and she was quite aware of it but most of the time the words were out of her mouth before she could stop herself and so she just let the words fly as they would and decided to not bother with the consequences unless she is asked by the person she accidentally confused...that is if she had word for what she had just said. "Velcome back to you az vell," she offered in return having noted her wandering to play a game as well for a time.

Kreszentia turned her attention to Lizzy and nodded, "Ja, Kres iz just fine," she said happily, "und ja we could be friend even outside of ze school," she assured with a bit of a laugh. The ghoul shifted her shoulders a bit. She wasn't sure she'd remember Lizzy's or anyone else's name after today but for as long as she hung around them and heard their names and connected it to their faces all was well.

She remembered faces wonderfully just not the names.

The ghoul listened as the other explained about the classes. Kreszentia nodded in understanding, "Gut, gut. Ex'zept for the devouring part," she laughed lightly and shrugged. Not like anyone could control what happened in a classroom.

Krovi felt accomplished in winning at least two pieces of candy and using one for a random minipet. His tail wagged happily then his ears twitched at the ping from his eyephone. He looked to see a text message that said another booth had been open. He smiled then headed off to go see it.

This isn't funny, the life of a bunny is at stake! What do you mean they're not alive?

Cady looked up as the cat-thing addressed her. "Huh? Yeah! I don't know much like, medical stuff but I know holes are bad," she nodded emphatically. "So you know, it was like, leaking, and like I figured I had to do something." She was totally oblivious that the water had bothered him. Or that anything had bothered him- she toddled after her newest ghoul friend over to the next game. Did this booth ever run out of games?

Oh! In this one, the goal was to hit bunnies. Or...not hit them? Ash had missed most of them but seemed pretty pleased with the result regardless. Shrugging, Cady grabbed the mallet. She folded her wings against her back in concentration and waited for the first rabbit to pop. She would give them SUCH a thrashing.

...But as they popped up one by one, Cady was routinely a half a second too slow. The THUD, THUD, THUD as she missed each time got gradually louder, until on her fifth wack the machine shuddered with the impact.

And yet it spit out a piece of candy anyway. Go figure.

"Say, what do we do with these?" She asked, inspecting it. No one she'd seen had eaten one, so far.

Teacups again. Marosa found himself standing in front of them in almost the same spot as before. For the third time, he picked up the sugar cube, threw it at the teacup, and crossed his fingers right after it was thrown.
