As the cannon cat ran, Riyo stood to her feet and pursued. Most people would've given up by now...
But not the fancily dressed feline. It was like watching roadrunner and coyote, and unfortunately Riyo had been dubbed the dumb mutt with the crappiest luck.

How had she gotten roped into helping with this activity? Mitsu was starting to wonder. It had started off so calmly...where had she gone wrong??
As she landed the wolf girl felt that her fall was a little softer than expected, shifting a bit she saw one of the cannon cats beneath her....oh....no. Moving...ever so carefully she prayed that it would just dart off and not attack her.

That was an instant KO for that cat. The others around seemed a little hesitant for the moment, but Shun soon found himself surrounded by the miniature gang of cannon cats. They all looked like they were ready to strike at any moment.
Narrowing his eyes, the reaper took on a fighting stance while watching them carefully.
"Come at me," he taunted lowly.
And so they did.

Mitsu's luck apparently wasn't that great anymore. The cat, once freed from her weight struck out latching itself to her back. "Gah!" Trying to claw behind her Mitsu was ready to be rid of the feline...ready to be done with all of them!

One cat soared at him and Shun quickly ducked to avoid having it attached to his face. It wasn't the only one coming at him too. Spinning about, he went and tried to kick another incoming assailant.

It had gotten to a level of comical that was only appropriate with yakkity sax playing in the background, though it was obvious the blonde was becoming fatigued. Fitness club.. Yeah, that would probably be a pretty good idea if this was how her body reacted when she was running.
"C... Come back here!" Riyo yelled, taking deep breaths as her legs started going numb.

This cat seemed to get the hint quickly not wanting to be clawed. It had quickly retreated from the lupine to avoid being hurt. Rolling over onto her hands and knees Mitsu was about to dart off but quickly saw her path was blocked. Sweet jack where had they come from?
As one came closer she swatted at it not wanting anything more to do with the creatures.

There were so many cats around, it was like a sea of fur and purring. And damien was lost at sea and drowning as he let out a scream under the pile that was growing on him. And he was starting to lose his patience with them, and his rapidly diminishing stamina from the earlier errand that involved the cats.
"Sweet Kerberos, I've got no food on me ya felines!, shoo!" He cried out, no longer having the energy to swing the racket.

As soon as Mitsu had swiped the cats suddenly all had something better to do and dispersed. Now in a bloody mess the lupine just sat back on the ground, shaking a bit from the ordeal. Cats....were scary. If her face were visible it would have been easy to see the tears welling in her eyes. Thankfully though they couldn't be seen.

Shun's kick connected quite strongly. It seemed the cats as a whole have had enough with the abuse as they all dispersed. Relaxing now, he let out a sigh while looking towards the others. They all came away with some bites and scratches it seemed.
Moving towards Mitsu, he held his unchewed up hand out to help her up.
He also glanced over towards the demon cat to see her in quite the mess as well.
"You ok?" he asked plainly. He had seen her in quite the epic struggle against the cannon cats.

And then Riyo tripped over her own feet, disproving the idea that all cats will always land on their feet when they fall. In fact, she landed face-first on the ground, eyes closing momentarily before she heard a 'meow' from underneath her.
Holy...
As those red spheres shot back open, her hands reached under her and pulled out the cannon cat that had been taunting her this whole time. It was obvious the dumb creature was scared now, and Riyo couldn't help but grin as she held the creature in her clawed hands.
"Yes, now what should I do with you? I could strangle you, skin you, maul you to death..." She began listing off the terrible ways to kill it before resting her head on the ground and just staring.
Pitifully, the cat's eyes took on a very sad look, as if begging for her forgiveness.
Seeing this, the feline weakly stood. "Oh... You just want me to let you go?"
Receiving a nod, Riyo smiled. "Well."
Grabbing the bat she'd tossed aside, she held the cat up by the scruff of its neck before tossing it upward and nailing it with the bat, watching the cat soar a good distance before dropping the weapon. That felt good.
And then Riyo dropped like a fly. Yes, fitness. Great idea.
"I've been better."

With her uninjured hand, Mitsu reached for Shun's getting up with a slight limp. Her leg was pretty chewed up and sore. Huddling a bit closer the lupine continued to cling to Shun's hand, her form visibly shaking, ears all but wilting on the side of her head. She wouldn't sob, she didn't want them to know she was so scared she would cry. They would surely make fun of her then! A wolf scared of a cat, who would ever have thought.
When Shun addressed the feline not far off, Mitsu tentatively turned in her direction. It seemed she had taken quite the beating.

AH THANK CANDLEJACK the cats seemed to have scurried off, terrified of the swinging fitness equipment. Christof sagged with relief, hurrying over to collect the bats and rackets. Everyone had done a great job, it would seem! Mistress would NEVER KNOW WHAT HAPPENED.
He sighed with relief, especially when he reached Miss Mitsu, reaching in his pocket for another one of those odd eye patches before pushing it into her hand with a thankful expression.

Once Mitsu was back up, Shun let go and checked his gnawed up wrist again. It was going to need some bandaging later on. Glancing back at the wolf girl, he saw her posture and whatnot but he didn't get quite how badly shaken she was from that.
"They're gone now," he said lowly, as some small effort to get her to settle down.
He then looked back at the feline that was now laying on the ground. Aside from the multitude of scratches and whatnot, she looked incredibly worn. Thinking for a few moments, he let out a sigh and walked over to offer her a hand as well. Might as well, seeing how they all just went through the terror of the cannon cats together here.
