Melanie smiled softly. "Oh, Okay. I guess I got worried over nothing." She let out a deep sigh and played with the gold cross around her neck. The blonde looked up and grinned. "Ahhh, I love that song!!!!!" She jumped up and sang to Keilantra's humming and spun a few times.

Keilantra laughed and kept spinning.Hearing the girl sing to the song she joined her.

"Cause everytime we touch, I get this feeling
And everytime we kiss I swear I could fly
Can't you feel my heart beat fast, I want this to last
Need you by my side
Cause everytime we touch, I feel this static
And everytime we kiss, I reach for the sky
Can't you hear my heart beat slow
I can't let you go
Want you in my life!"

She continued to dance.Keilantra had aalways loved dancing, it was just to fun not too!'Woo this is fun!'She thought to herself as she stopped dancing for a moment to introduce herself."Im Keilantra by the way! But call me Keila."

Melanie blushed at Keilantra's introduction, realizing they hadn't introduced. "O-Oh! I'm Melanie." She said grinning. She began to sing again. Melanie hated her voice but adored singing. Slightly hypocritical but she didn't mind.

Amber sat out on the stage, lying down. The place was empty now, and there was no electrical lights as sunlight streamed through all of the high arched-windows, illuminating the dust that was still floating around. Despite the fact that the hall had been getting so many visitors of the late, dust was only churned around, and the janitor wouldn't get it all anyway. Besides, she had a feeling everyone liked the untouched look of the place. It made the dance hall seem to have a mystery behind it, with people dancing around and such. Was it to rock and rap? Or was it an elegant waltz? At least to Amber it seemed that way.

Staring up at the ceiling, she smiled, looking at the painting that was up on it. Angels flying around and such with a blue sky. She frowned at that, the soft smile fleeing from her face. Why couldn't the sky be cloudy and gray, or maybe even raining? It was so stereotypical for the sky to be blue and with little clouds. She sighed and folded her hands behind her head, using them as a pillow on the tile and looked up, shifting her denim-covered legs. Her shirt was a dark tan color, about the shade of her dirty-blonde hair and was spaghetti strapped. Her chocolate colored eyes continued to search the ceiling for something out of the ordinary, but she gave up quickly in the pointeless task and sat up, stealing a look at her hand with a frown. The other day there was this odd red tatoo that had appeared on her hand. It had died down in the fierceness and was a pale red now, but it still worried her. She wanted to say it basically looked like a sword with wings, but the tattoo was very abstract, so she couldn't be positively sure.

She tched and shook her left hand furiously as to try and shake it off, but of course it stayed and she sighed, plopping down with her legs over the stage and stared at the front doors, beginning to hum softly as she laid back again on the ground, closing her eyes as she hummed. Of course, she had no clue what she was humming, but nor did it matter. It was hot outside, and cool in here, and it's not like she knew anyone at Ria.. still. Amber Elise cursed herself for that. Other than that odd little girl who could go from scholar to cute little kid in a few seconds.. her name was wierd. Like Kaylee or something. Kayla?.. Oh, screw it.

She shrugged and continued humming, lifting her left hand above herself to admire the tattoo for no real reason and kicked her tennis shoes against the side of the stage as she kicked her legs out in a bored manner.

Man.. I wish something would happen.. she sighed inwardly and tilted her head, hair streaming across her face now.

The girl that stood on the stage could hear the backdoor near stage left opened slowly, the creaking sound that followed came as a lone man passed through the oil-straved doorway. The figure came onto the stage, his light footsteps hear throughout the empty hall as the first light hit him: A single man walking in an elegant way with a music stand in one hand and a violin in the other. his ebony hair cascaded down his face casually as he sat the stand down carefully, the noise from his tuxedo shooes slipping slightly as he turned on the tip of his toes, eyeing the woman there. His eyes were nothing less than sheer beauty: a deep azure color that ran like the darkest part of the ocean, cold and mysterious. He didn't smile, didn't frown...he just stood there. Standing upright, the man held the violin in his left hand, his hair blowing slowly against the side of his face as she could see his full attire now. he wasn't dressed like the normal 'rabble' that was Ria high... there was something even about his appearence that made him seem almost regal...and deadly. He wore black tuxedo pants that fit him perfectly, every inch of the cloth covering him nibly as the white dress shirt he wore shown with violent and pleasing contrast. Tucked in, it taught to fit his muscular torso and long arms and shoulder rather neatly. Worn over the white shirt was a black vest, cut to fit him as neatly as the pants were, and both blacks matched in color. the vest was fitted with three pearl buttons, each was perfectly round and shined with a brilliant lighting even in the semi-dark area of the stage. His entire outfit was cast by a crimson red tie he wore, tucked into the vest and it went down the line of buttons with peak perfection. In a word...he looked almost like a well-dressed angel. Smiling suddenly,he placed the violin under his chin, turning back to the stand as he lifted his other hand, a rod extened from it. Slowly, he cast the bow against the strings, letting out a rather elegant yet haunting melody. One might recognize it as 'The Devil's Trill', by Tartini. He moved his body fluidly with each note as he watched the paper on the stand. The girl could now notice that on his hands, he wore black fingerless gloves, each finger loop on top capped in a silver sheen. His fingers moved quickly and nimbly over the strings, the song jumping from the pages and into the air. He soon closed his eyes, letting the people around him as well as himself be lifted by the feel of the music around them.

After a moment, the young man stopped, lowering the violing slowly as his eyes still held closed. Silience filled the again derelict dance hall as he opened his eyes, a meak smile forming across his gorgeous lips as he spoke, a simple sentence to the woman on the other end of the stage. His voice was soft, soothing...caring. Something about it made one feel safe...almost in love. The words cam eout with little effort as the smile grew a bit. "Well....goodevening Miss..." He bowed his head to her, placing the bow and violin on the stand as he slowly stepped towards her, his light footsteps now once againt as loud as a lion's roar in the silent area. His next sentece was a bit more...aloof, almost carefree. "Such a nice old place...it's funny to see something with such a lively and beautiful look amongst the cobwebs and dust of this place..." He eyes never left her, they trailed over her slowly as he moved with the same elegant steps, his form stopping only feet from her as he waited to see what she would say...and how she would react... to Ria's newest member.

Lukan's tail swayed back and forth as it dangled off the edge of the rafter he was laying on. His ear twiched as he heard the man below enter the place and talked to the young woman who was laying down on the stage. He sat up with a small yawn as his ears twiched once more. So much for taking a nap here. He thought to himself. Looking down and peering at the man he saw that he was well dressed, something he didn't see to much and was carring a violen. Here to practice maybe? Whatever the case it was probably going to keep him up and all he wanted was to sleep somewhere besides his dorm. Getting to his feet he outstreached his arms for balance then brought them to his sides again seeing as how the automail arm out weighed his natural arm. He walked smoothly on the rafter several cracks were heard from his walking and he swallowed hard. Coming to the piller he climbed up to the rafters with, several claw marks pressent to help him when he climbed were there. wraping his arms around the piller he got a good grip then wrapped his legs around it gradually sliding down in a spin and hitting the ground with a soft "thud." "Pardon me sir and ma'am. Didn't mean to be snooping or anything. I was just here taking a small nap." He annouced with a small blush as he rubbed the back of his head.

Shard strolled through the door of a seemingly empty room that she had never came across on her wanderings before, it was a beautiful dance hall with crystal chandeliers and a faded velvet carpet that must have been gorgeous when it was new. Strolling past the dusty tables, covered in white sheets to protect the wood, she walked over towards a stage that must have been used to play music for dances and other social events.
Doube checking that no one was around, Shard began humming a song that Mirror said that mom used to her, her deep, husky voice soon replaced the hummed notes as it echoed throught the sparse chamber.

"Dreaming of the starts up high
That speak to me in secret sighs
Drifting on a breeze only I can feel
And you...

Could it be the sacred wind
Thats calling me to now begin
To walk into the dark
Copying the light of tomorow

Give to not the wings up high
Beyond the earth, beyond the sky
come now, dont hesitate
Dont run back we got to go now
Dont fear, you'll be safe from now on
Morning star watching over us...

Deep inside so silently my heart will speak
Weeping silently, memories bechoning
And shimering on, endlessly

Keep me close to the path
Morning star watching over us

Moving on the endless mountains up so high
Walking to the light, your heart will see the path
And you will find the way, just wait and see...

Moving on the endless sky up so high
Tomorow will follow any boat
Your promise is today
Just wait and see..."

Her eyes shut with the conclusion of the melody and she let her head fall against a piano bench, when she heard voices nearby. Grabbing her gun from the holster on her thigh, she panned it across the room, before replieying in a scary tone.

"Whoever you are, make your presence known...or I will shoot."

She suddenly sat up like a bullet, immediately looking towards the sound of the violin's playing. This dude.. did he just appear from nowhere? Was he a ghost? Oh.. shut it. she said to herself. And immediately after that, she fell into the music, tilting her head as she listened. The way this newcomer stood in the light of the window.. it was breathtaking. Like he was an angel, come to bring her rescue from boredom or something. Boredom was what she quickly forgot, and she watched his hands moved gracefully over the instrument and envied him for his playing skills. But he seemed to be so into what he was doing.. his body moving with the music. She continued to watch him, feeling just like a little girl dancing along the halls in a white dress, with her hair pinned up just so. The melody sucked her in and she longed to dance with in and was about to.. when suddenly it ended.

She blinked for a moment, being sucked out of her daydream with the dancing and looked back to the young man, who opened his eyes and looked at her, smiling. Amber couldn't help but smile softly in return.. it was so easy to trust him. Part of her wanted to bolt, too shy to face anyone, but she just.. had this feeling. She didn't know how to describe it- it was just this.. gentle feeling- that practically eminated from him.

"Such a nice old place...it's funny to see something with such a lively and beautiful look amongst the cobwebs and dust of this place..."

She blushed a bit, not knowing what to say at first. So she just smiled and looked at him again. His eyes caught her attention this time. How could anyone's eyes be so .. blue? Finally, she was able to say something in return.

"Well.. I thank you for the gracious compliment, sir gentleman." she turned to the left for a moment, hearing a creak above. Amber caught a look at the person above and shrugged it off. Maybe it was a ghost? And then a moment afterwards when she turned back to the man with the violin and started to say something, and then newcomer number two spoke up. "Um.. it's fine.." she said, turning back to newcomer number one, and then a girl spoke up, who'd apparently appeared and started singing awhile ago. She caught onto her voice a moment later and then the lady pulled the gun. She groaned and took her own from the back of her jeans, cocking and pointing straight at her with a bored sigh. Her voice, obviously said otherwise, however.

"Where do all you people come from?!"

Shard gritted her teeth and put her finger on the trigger. "Its a school, I can go wherever I damn want!" she hissed and looked the girl straight in the eye. Wait....did she hear me sing!?!?!?! . "Well this is just peachy..." she sunk unto the floor, cradling her gun like a newborn, but still not taking her eyes off the girl, or her finger off the trigger.
This was one reason why she hated schools, people these days were extreamely rude and just barged into everything. If Mirror knew I could sing....she make me join a damn choir...or American Idol she winced at the thought and rose up too her feet, this girl also had a gun, and she looked trained as well.

The man simply stood a few feet in front of both women and the boyish-looking male across the way. Laughing in a light and very well kept tone, he shook his head, speaking once more in the same elegant and unforced tone. Where is it I came from? Well, Miss...unless I am mistaken, I belive there is a back door behind the stage where I found that violin..." He extended his arm with a finger pointed towards the back of stage left, a door halfway opened from where he came. The smile on his face was not snarky or sarcastic...it was genuine and shown brilliantly as he bowed his head lightly to the boy that spoke. "Really, it's quite alright, i've finished with my piece and you haven't ruined a thing" He turned around to the girl that was now mearly standing near the bottom of the stage. He stepped lightly towards her, reaching a hand out as he spoke. Miss Please do not worry...I'm sure there are a few people in this established school that use this place as sanctuary..and we have violated that security and startled them. But there is no need to be sad...." He reached her, his hand lowered as he spoke in a soft whisper. ...With such an amazing voice." Winking at her her turned to go back up the stairs and onto the stage, yet his foot caught the corner of the top step and he fell forward. Catching himself at first, he suddenly collided with the music stand and the violin and pieces of music collided with the floor. Staying on the ground for just a moment, he rose carefully, laughing lightly with an embarresed shade of crimson over his face as he fingered through his thick ebony hair. My appologizes... " Reaching down and picking up the music stand and violin, he walked past both women and to the younger-looking man. Handing him the violing, he said "Can you please help me by bringing this to the back with me? I really don't feel much like dropping such a wonderful peice of wood with my silly ways." Turning towards the doorway at stage left, the boy, Lukan, could tell something very strange about the violin that had just been played only moments before.

....It had no strings.
PostPosted: Sat Jul 22, 2006 8:10 pm

Lukan stared for a moment at the instument then shook his head noding and helped him with his things. "Oh yeah, to answer your question about where I came from miss, blame my parents." Lukan said giving her a small playful grin. He took the violen in his right arm, afraid that if he took it in his left arm that he might scratch or damage the delicate wood with the metal. "You must've practiced a lot to get that good." He said looking up at the well dressed man. "I would never be able to do something like that, no patients really, and I'd probably just whined up breaking it with this arm of mine."

Adrienne had easily made her way out of the courtyard. Attempting to avoid the now whining doll who had not ceased to stop talking until now. She belonged to Adrienne...and yet she did not obey her. It was an odd thing...and not certainly one that she enjoyed. However, she would have to live with the little illusion for the time being. After wandering for quite some time, she had been able to find a small door. Gently pushing it open, only slightly she was able to slip backstage, finding a small corner where she and Cassandra would not be seen. Making her way behind the curtain, the little doll following after her, she slowly sunk into a seated position. Cassandra sighed slightly and sat down as well, adjusting her black dress and her curly hair and glaring slightly at Adrienne. There were other people in the dance hall...but it wasn't as if she was going to be heard. Unlike some, Adrienne had the small, yet powerful ability to make as little noise as possible. And attract hardly any attention, which was to her liking most of the time. " What now? ", she whispered slowly to the doll that was now glaring at her. " What do you think? ", Cassandra huffed turning her head away from her, obviously not in a good mood. With a small sigh, Adrienne leaned back onto the wall and cocked her head to one side to face Cassandra again. " Well I sure don't know what your problem is...so if you don't tell me how will I know? ", she muttered. " And...how will we solve the situation. It's not like you can run away back into my memory...only I can command that ", she added with a small smirk. Pursing her lips and narrowing her small glass eyes, the doll turned her head around to face Adrienne, leaving her body to face the other direction. " Not...funny ", she whispered angirly. Returning her head to its proper position, Adrienne bit her lower lip and turned away as well. " That wasn't really necessary now was it...", she whispered trying to remove the image of Cassandra's head from her mind. The disturbing little doll had managed to finally "creep her out ". And she was not pleased...nor content for that matter.

As Adrienne stared at the stray chair in front of her, she began to make more illusions. First it was a rabbit...then a top hat...then a flower. With a small smile, she made a box of chocolates and floated them towards Cassandra's direction. " They're caramel filled...your favoriteee ", she sang sweetly with a little smile. Cassandra did nothing but grumble. " Comon I know how much you love them ", she added. " I'm made of wood remember...I can't eat human food ". Adrienne paused..." I can easily change that ", she replied with a small smirk. Cassandra sighed and turned once again to face Adrienne. " Look ", she muttered...looking a little tired and a bit grumpy. " You should just confess...I mean comon...you know you problems better than I do ", she muttered with a small smirk. Adrienne stopped. " What's that supposed to mean? ", she asked.

"Be-beautiful voice...?" Shard whispered, astonished at the compliment, she hated her own voice. Deciding that violence wasn't needed, she slipped hcer gun back into the holster and proceeded to follow the two men with the violin case. "I-I'm Shard, Shard Alartia....yours?" she extended her pale, shaking hand out towards him. Wh-What is with me lately? I was trained to not trust anyone and here I am, making friends like it's a country club.....living with Mirror is getting to my head. She's too friendly sometimes..

Nikki looked through the door to the empty dance hall, but not paying attention to what she could see and just sighed pushing open the door enough for her to get in, then gently closed it behind her. She wandered over to one of the windows to the side of the room, leaning on the windowsill and just thinking about things at random as she watched the sky smiling alittle to herself.
