The poor Charmander never stood a chance, the Sheer Cold wholly stripping it of all will to remain conscious. Lucas growled in frustration and recalled the little fire-type, turning his attention to the Chimecho that, fortunately, had survived the blow. "Give it another Extrasensory, Mer." The little wind chime pokemon shivered more with anxiety than with cold, turning another psychic blast on the Kyogre.

Artie froze instantly, dropping to the ground in a solid block of Feraligatr-shaped ice. That was his destiny. Viral did not, apparently ignoring the very idea that it could be frozen. His eyes glowed red momentarily, possibly in a rage, as he launched a Meteor Mash at the Kyogre, striking at it with the force of, well... a meteor.

Tesla and Darwin's reign of sparky terror was short lived, as the icy cold enveloped Nyx's pokemon. She was sure all three of her pokemon were lost, but Maxwell, the tank that she was, remained standing. "Maxwell!" Nyx shouted as she returned her two fainted pokemon. "Thunderbolt, again!" She hoped that Mama-Aggron would be able to take more hits; Maxwell was her last pokemon.

Leonard had his hands on the Pokeballs when the wave of cold washed over the room. He was sure that his Pokemon would faint from the devastating attack, but no. It missed him completely. Leonard almost breathed a sigh of relief but they weren't out of the woods yet. He ordered his Pokemon for another round of attacks.

Faleen made sure to secure the bindings on his wrists, binding his arms tightly, so that he wouldn't have much mobility in his arms. She glanced up at the large Legendary, hearing the man's mutters. It was a chilling sight, the raw power of the legendary was not something to be taken lightly, and knowing that most of the Rockets didn't have more then two pokemon to use against him, half of her own team was already down... taken out by this Lance... It was frustrating. As she watched, she saw all the pokemon get hit by a big attack, and once again... her Absol fell.
Jerking her head away, she looked back over to him, finishing the knot off before she reached over to grab his cape, and pull a side of it away, looking for where he might keep his belt of pokeballs. "That is a matter of perspective." she muttered back, before glancing over at Kofuku "Kofuku, help me find a Dusk Ball that might be on him," she told her fellow grunt.

Alexander watched in dismay as first Conrad managed to avoid the fire from the Growlithe but was knocked out from the legendary's move. "Oh Conrad this is just not your night!" he quickly returned his fallen pokemon to his pokeball then continued to move towards Liam.

With one sweeping attack, several Pokemon went down. Including Shadow Lugia, again, and Seth's Tyranitar. The man growling under his breath as he recalled the two. Raion though, was still there, having managed to somehow avoid getting overcome by the sheer cold. With another flash of light, Seth's other remaining Pokemon was released. Pele stepping forward as the flames around her neck ignited, allowing more light into the dark room. She and Raion both giving their all as they attacked the massive beast.
Lance meanwhile, gritted his teeth at Faleen's reply. She was one of them, and he shouldn't have expected any less. Clearly he didn't agree, but the man simply did not have the strength to argue with her. Slumping over, he exhaled in ragged breaths, desperately trying to cling to consciousness.
"Is this it?" Kofuku replied, taking a dusk ball from Lance's side that was opposite Faleen.
Despite the reduction in Pokemon, the attacks that came were still many. The Kyogre was not about to give up the fight though. The legendary monster suddenly bursting forth from the water in Nyx's direction. Its massive body hitting the shore and any Pokemon in its path with a Double-Edge attack.

Mau wondered just how well they could do against something like this. He thought for a moment before an idea came to him. While Mai was busy attacking with vines and leaves, He clutched Aki's pokeball. "Hey buddy..." He said softly as the vaporeon was released in a flash of red. "Attack the growlith on top of the kyogre." Aki nodded before slipping into the water, melding in. When in a position where the attack wouldn't wash away any of the rockets, Aki launched a surf attack at the poor fire puppy, hoping to knock it from it's perch.

The attacks continued from both sides, and Isadora watched all with tentative eyes. So many of the other Pokemon had gone down to that powerful Sheer Cold, but some were still fighting... What would be the outcome? Isadora doubted that even Arceus knew.
Suddenly, though, the leviathan launched itself out of the water in a gargantuan Double Edge attack. Isadora yelped and scrambled out of the way, but as she did, her feet snagged on the uneven ground and twisted her ankle. She fell onto the floor, directly onto her hip, and she gritted her teeth at the shock of pain that followed. Staggering to her feet, trying to keep her weight on her opposite foot.
"Keep attahcking! Keep beating on it!"

She glanced up when Kofuku held out the ball, "That's it" reaching out for it, taking back the ball she had given him before she pushed herself to her feet now that Lance was securely bound. She took a few steps forward, pulling her pokeball out to return her fainted Absol, While Sharpedo continued his attacks... good boy.
She wasn't sure if it would work, considering the circumstances, but afterward she reached the other Dusk Ball up, pointing it to Komashi and initiating to recall function. It was worth a try anyway.

Seance was unaffected by the Double-edge and Omega's steel typing resisted the attack. But Brick was slammed by the Kyogre's weight as it barreled through and it barely managed to stay on its feet.
Leonard saw an opportunity for a crazy plan. He first had to run out of the way of the Kyogre and the resulting wave of water.
"Fastball special!"
Omega looked at his trainer like he was crazy. But Brick understood the cryptic command and threw the Metagross on top of the Kyogre.

When the Kyogre used it's attack, Alexander ended up falling to the floor from the shaking the floor did. He looked around at the battle that was going on all around him from where he sat on his knees and couldn't help but feel useless. He didn't have any other pokemon that could fight, didn't have any kind of weapon that might slow the legendary down, and he certainly wasn't the most useful in thinking up a plan. He growled in frustration before climbing to his feet. He then finished moving over to Liam and reached down to help him to his feet. "Come on, we need to get farther back." he told the injured Rocket.

It was like something out of the 'Maws', the way the Kyogre launched itself out of the water and attacked the tiny rockets. Things happened in slow motion, the whale pokemon careened towards her, she threw her arms up, a large clawed paw grabbed her by the front of her uniform, her feet dangled in the air, and then suddenly she was launched out of the path of the attacking Kyogre and landing roughly in the shallow water. Luckily she didn't hit her head on any of the large rocks scattered around, or land wrong and break a bone, though skidding across the rocky cave floor did scrape up her arms and knees.
Maxwell was slammed into, however, and went crashing into the rocks behind. The large pokemon growled, the steel armor that surrounded its body having protected it from enough of the damage that it hadn't immediately fainted, though it did look rather battered. The aggron roared in the Kyogre's direction, enraged that it had endangered its trainer. She took a step forward and fell to a knee; it was likely that her leg was broken.
Electricity sparked between the three horns on Maxwell's helmet, charging for what would likely be one last attack, and then arced towards the Legendary Pokemon.

Floating above the deepwater legendary, Nadja's Dusknoir was spared the Double-Edge attack. The ghost knew her limitations, though, and so while her single red eye widened in silent alarm at the sight of the Kyogre's massive bulk slamming into the shore - snapping off stalactites and sending up a wake of spray - she didn't rush to her trainer's side. Fists crackling with electricity again, Keres chose a closer target and dove. It wasn't as if a glowing whale was hard to miss.
Nadja was far enough back toward the ledge that she wasn't likely to be hit before inertia stopped the monster.. maybe.. probably.. "Run."
The redhead didn't realize she'd said it before she had grabbed Seth's hand to pull him out of the way, finding rough purchase on the rocks beneath her feet as she headed for the ledge, trying to take stock of who was where and who was down amidst the glowing sigils and wildly swinging flashlight beams.
