Flaming cat?? What the hell??
Alumo frowned as he watched everything take place from his spot on the volcano. Yeah, as lovely of a view as it was, he was ready to get down and away from the molten lava.
He knelt down, taking hold of Moonstone's arms and pulling her up against his back, though the second she came to and wanted to get down, he would let her. But with the ground rumbling as it was, and with the lava and smoke getting out of control, he would just have to take matters into his own hands and get her off the volcano. With her safely on his back, the Captain started making his way down the steep hill, doing his best to hang on to the Lieutenant and keep his balance at the same time. Once he got her to safety he would let her rest and go back to the battle, himself. But until then... he was going to make sure she got away from danger.

Tony looked at Sheldon, then at Ever.
"Lion or not, it's... large... and on fire. Is that a child on it?" The child from before, he realized. Well, at least she had stayed out of danger. Or was riding on top of it? He wasn't sure, but his head was rather muddled.
When Ever shoved him he nearly fell, but the support of the two younger men kept him from a repeat of last time, at the very least. He stumbled along, trying to hurry as fast as he could with them. The last thing he wanted to do was be the reason they all got killed.
He felt a surge of energy, though, and shut his eyes, taking a deep breath and finding he was able to support himself without the boy's help. He looked at the leopard again, eyes clearer, chest pausing in its relentless aching.
"We can't escape this place," he said, with understanding, "without that beast. We're not in control here." He wasn't running, nor attacking, simply holding his ground and watching. This was it. There was no backing down: things were beyond their control. If he was a pawn in some greater design, he wasn't going to run from it.

Ganymede just wanted it all to end. He'd had enough. He'd reached his limit a long time ago. He didn't even want to keep walking anymore, would rather plop down on the ground and just... sit there... moping. The only thing that stopped him was the thought that with his luck the ground would probably open up beneath him if he did that, and the fact that there was a fiery leopard barreling down the volcano. He'd rather not be in the way of that.
The urge to put a stop to all of this mess kept him moving, onward and onward, following behind Gianfar and Atlas and hoping that whatever happened between now and whenever this ended, he'd wake up in one piece.

Upon being thrown from Gianfar's shoulder, Atlas stumbled and caterwauled for a few steps, but he was otherwise alright. The sudden resurgence of energy enabled him to ignore the battered state his body was currently in, and he was lucky for it -- otherwise, who knew if he would have survived the giant leopard-on-fire galloping down the hill.

"Trust me, if I could leave I would..." Leto muttered under her breath. Lava was pooling around her feet as she stood her ground- she knew very well that not a single other person here had the ability to stand on lava. She didn't quite understand why she could, but she figured it must be for a reason. She took a deep breath and stood in the leopard's path as he was coming down the mountain, awaiting her fate.

Apparently it wasn't just him who had felt the rush of energy. With Tony now on his own two feet, Sheldon finally turned his gaze to where the large cat was supposedly making its decent. "That's.. just weird...." he muttered under his breathe, muffled more with the cloth that still covered it.
He glanced at Tony, his grip loosening a little but not dropping from the man's side least the effects of the adrenaline wore off, leaving them weak as before. His lips pursed together, mulling over his words and he simply shrugged unsure of what to really say to that.
"Strange, that you're kind of rethinking yourself a little bit there." Sheldon shrugged again, thinking back to the earlier inspiring speech Tony had spouted before. "But, doesn't mean we can't defend ourselves still, right?" He'd stand with his new found companions, they had a common goal after all.

So apparently she was on fire now, and Wolframite was snapping at her. This seemed to make sense, although Tate didn't feel like she was burning, she just felt a little... you know, stiff. Like her leg didn't quite want to bend right. And the heat really wasn't that big a deal.
"No, I'm fine," she told Wolframite. It would totally hurt if she was on fire. In fact, she felt a lot better than previously, except for the massive cat coming her way. This was definitely the most cracked-out dream she'd ever had, she reflected, as she grabbed Wolframite's hand and lurched away from the angry Guardian of Elysion.

Europa finally got her shoe back, although at this point it was hardly worth the trouble. She'd been all over the field of battle, chased by lava monsters and rivulets of fire and fissures and all manner of horrible, horrible things and her foot was an achy, burnt mess of pain that barely fit into her boot, which was much worse for the wear anyway. She hoped she wouldn't feel this bad when she woke up, because how would she explain something like this to the hospital?
She limped tiredly towards Ganymede, Atlas, and Gianfar. "I'm sorry, guys," she sighed. There. Another battle where she'd been entirely useless. So much for that. At least she'd gotten some actual fighting in and hadn't ended it concussed this time.
Europa gazed skywards in exhaustion. She was waiting for her alarm clock, praying for the strains of Edith Piaf to come blasting through the ipod speakers. But it didn't. Worst. Dream. Ever. (Well, maybe not worse than feeling herself die in Wonderland. It was debatable.)

Elysion was going ballistic. Cracks opened behind the Guardian, cracks appearing beneath his feet and spreading out like spiderwebs. They widened into dangerous fissures that fell away into an inky blackness. It would only take one look down to know that these were not just regular fissures.
These were a one way ticket out of Elysion.
The Guardian crashed into the invaders without hesitation, seemingly fearless of both their magic and their weapons. He left behind a trail of molten rock, gashes of fiery red lava marking where his tail had brushed the mountainside. His paw came out in a wicked strike, claws retracted, and Sailor Polaris was the first to be bowled over into the fissure.
She would awake in her bed, ejected from Elysion by the angry Guardian.
He turned, and slammed his tail into the ground with a loud crash. The water and air trapped below responded, and a geyser shot up beneath Zinkenite, who vanished into the dark sky. He grew smaller and smaller, until he too awoke back in his home.
“OUT!” Leopard's Eye roared the command as he ravaged the assembled invaders, a wide swipe of his fiery tail knocking Ganymede and Gianfar into another pitch black pit, leaving Atlas running all on his lonesome. He rounded on Tony, his voice a horrible rumble that matched the sound of the shifting rocks of Elysion, “Escape? I will help you escape!”
One hard breath was all it took, and Destiny City's Most Eligible Librarian would find himself blown over into another fissure.
Ever was next to catch the rampaging guardian's attention, and Leopard's Eye did not hesitate to ram the civilian with his large (and also on fire) head, right into another seemingly bottomless black expanse.
“You cannot own Elysion!” The guardian yelled, followed by a roar that shook the ground upon which they stood. The lava that flowed down the mountain, previously in small rivulets, seemed to suddenly come on in waves. The land itself came to life as the lava moved to defy the laws of physics. It rose in great waves, open like gaping mouths, and crashed down upon Leto, Sheldon, Tate, and Europa.
They would see only a flash of brilliant red and feel a sudden wave of blistering heat before they, too, awoke in their beds.
((If you rolled anything but an 8, you have been ejected from Elysion by a very cranky guardian. You don't have to take any IC damage from his final attacks.))

Well, at least he had been right, in a way. He had imagined that the leopard was the key to staying or leaving the realm, and he had certainly been proven correct in that regard.
He just wished it hadn't involved being thrown into a fissure.
His instincts told him to protect those around him, Ever an Sheldon and anyone else nearby, but as the giant, fire engulfed leopard turned on him he quickly realized that it was his own skin he should probably be worried about. The battered librarian tried to brace against the gust, like he had done with Moonstone's attack before, but his feet didn't hold him and he was sent flying backwards by the force of it.
"Ever!! Nooo!!!" he yelled, falling and seeing the younger man get thrown just above him, tumbling down into oblivion with him.
He woke up on the floor of his apartment, just in front of his sofa/bed. The TV was showing static, and the house was completely silent save the haggard breaths escaping his chest and the thundering of his heart. Pain overwhelmed him, confusion chased away by black as he passed out.
At least this time he could get some 'sleep'.

Alkaid was too slow to react as the geyser surged beneath Zinkenite and sent him soaring into the sky. As she reached out uselessly to him with one hand, the other was trying to steady herself on the rock she'd been using as cover from the boiling lava. As the world crashed around her she had no time to call out for him, all of it was switched to herself and her own survival. She had things to do in this place still.
As the rock she was on threatened to topple over into one of those endless chasms, Alkaid leaped off and to the side, landing on one of the few undisturbed patches of ground left. Her eyes followed the raging guardian as he went after one person and the next, her gloved hands curling into fists at her side.
"I don't know how to attack this one," she said quietly to herself, feeling lost without a soul beside her to force her on. There was no Tanzanite, no Zinkenite, no anyone left to tell her what to do. How could she face such a terrifying force of nature as that other-worldly leopard?

Ganymede saw the leopard coming and ran for it.
Ganymede was hit by a fiery tail.
Ganymede fell into a dark, black pit.
Ganymede screamed and waved his arms in a flail.
Paris woke up in his bed at home, still screaming, and promptly rolled over and fell onto the floor in a tangle of sheets and blankets.
"Screw this s**t! I hate my life!!"

"s**t," the Captain cursed, feeling Moonstone disappear from where he was carrying her on his back. Had she just been ejected from the field?? Well, at least that meant she was safe, right? Or as safe as she could be. At least she wasn't going to die in a fiery pit of lava.
But now that there was no reason to worry about her safety, or at least as much as he could help it, he stretched out his arms, taking hold of the two halves of his staff as he ran to make his way down the rest of the volcano. He was already angry with the stupid Guardian, so now was the time for him to actually do something about it. Senshi, Negaverse, and civilians alike were all getting kicked out of the realm, it seemed. Well, Alumo wasn't about to leave without a fight.

The world literally seemed like it was ending. It was all so crazy and the small child had the best seat in the house: on top of the flaming leopard. Really. Her icy blue eyes seemed to counter the environment with a sharp piercing feeling as she watched carefully as everything happened, counting as one by one the people that Big Kitty wished to be gone slowly met their fate for not leaving. He had given them countless warnings, and even she had tried to help them by telling to leave. No one listened, but now it didn't matter. Most of them were gone, Big Kitty was so strong!
"Wow," summed up the child's feelings in one word.
Regardless of it all though the small child still wished for everyone's safety and when she thought about it they were a lot safer now that they weren't here when Big Kitty was so furious.
