And unless you're apparently the Dark Lady of the Sith, you don't have to go every week. ^^

I have no real life friends / acquaintances in the guild. Heck, I dont think anyone even lives in the state I do T-T (I dont blame them either, its frickin cold up here!)
And are you guys talking about live action role playing?

But is it like DnD?
Though, ya know, I dont think I would know what a normal DnD game looks like. . . (Boyfriend often has teddybears that turn people into marshmallows that blow up and spew green foam . . . )

They effed up relations with a potential business partner while I was absent for various reasons - such as being sick and it being the holidays. Yes. They've gotten on my bad side. However, my character knows NOTHING of what happened yet because people are afraid to report to her about screwing up SO BADLY! D:< And they should be!
I would love to say go for the liquid courage HOWEVER the responsible kind-of-agm-but-not-really-an-agm side of me says that it's against the rules to show up under the influence. For safety issues and whatnot. >.<
And the first two weeks you show up, you don't really have to act at all! You get to just get to understand all of the rules and junk.
And yes, we are talking about teh live action roleplays of the Star Wars variety. It's similar to DnD I guess, save we don't roll dice and run around hitting each other with plastic lightsabers for four hours. It's a rather physical game. But also one that requires more thought than people think sometimes. >.<
Teddybears turning people into marshmellows sounds like Grimm. Good game by the way. I'd rather that over regular DnD any day.

Bahaha, no worries, I wouldn't do that but they really do need to invent something that allows me to have coordination AND courage. XD That is reassuring though (the not acting thing). Oh and agm? Is that like head honcho?

We've a smuggler faction (one person) who can sell illegal goods to jedi and sith alike. REALLY vaulable. But they screwed it up so the "good guys" are going to be getting really really really really cheap stuff while our rates will more than likely get hiked through the roof if we're lucky enough to still buy from the smuggler. BECAUSE THEY EFFED EVERYTHING UP! I'm gone for FOUR HOURS. And the messed everything up!
But try vault or moutain dew for some liquid courage. It's some good stuff! I usually have one before game. Most people don't really know that I do, so they get freaked out on the occasions they see me drinking it.
Yeah. The first week you aren't allowed to have a plastic lightsaber - so you're pretty much just cannon fodder/meat sheild. You don't have your character at all at this point, you're main observing and able to participate minimally. So, no acting really. Second week, people usually kind of start slipping into their charactera little bit, starting to get a feel for it and you get a lightsaber so you can act intimidating and all that jazz.
Agm = assistant game manager/master
I'm not really one, but kind of am considering me being the leader of a faction. Like, I don't have too much input with anything. But, I know most of the rulebook backwards and forward just in case new people in my faction have a question and there is not an actual AGM or GM around. So when I say kind of agm, I mean that in the loosest way possible.

You can by stuff with In Character money, like how people have gold in DnD, we have credits.
And it's perfectly fine. ^^ I enjoy answering questions about the game. Especially if it means possibly a new recruit. I love new people to the game, I enjoy watching it grow and getting fresh meat.
Yes, it does get me fairly hyped up ^^ I don't do serious energy drinks though. That would be scary. It'd be a terrible night for everyone around me. I'd bounce off the walls between the Sith Temple and the Jedi Temple and give monolouges in ten seconds without anyone understanding a single word. It'd be terrible.
As far as new people, we tend to only get them when new semesters begin. During holiday breaks we tend to only get vets. This fall semester we did not get that many new people, but I suppose that's alright. We lost a lot of vets over the past year too :/
But we do love new people and try to treat them the best we can to make sure they'll keep coming back to game.
We're losing two more people I just remembered. :/ One of my better fighters too. Oh well, more slaughtering for me to do I suppose~ heart

Yeah, I don't usually drink it, I get pretty weird when I get too hyper but perhaps that's a good thing if I'm trying to step out of the box.
Oooh, maybe I'll convince my friends. (: They did zombies so maybe they'll agree to it.
