Rissa listened patiently to Takeshi. So he hadn't just followed her, and had really just happened to cross paths with her again. She smiled a bit at the thought, nodding and opening her mouth to speak, before a new person showed up. Rissa turned her attention to the white haired ninja as he spoke, and mentioned his aspirations to become a medical nin, and that he was combat trained as well.

It's nice to meet you, Nagamichi-san... I'm Rissa Youkon, and I'm also trying to be a medic nin.” She smiled lightly at him, her smile sweet and innocent as always, before glancing between the two males. She was a bit surprised at the compliment, the fact that Nagamichi had been so interested in their movements. She hadn't though much of it during the training exercise, so she was as curious to his answer as Takeshi was. To think, she had come across so many new people today, it left a good feeling for Rissa. She hoped that they'd all be good friends eventually, and felt she was well on her way already with Cruxis and Takeshi.

The male explained that what Nagamichi had seen was not a sparring match, but rather a training session before introducing himself as Takeshi Kaguya and the female as Rissa. At that time Rissa added in her surname, which was Youkon. Her smile captivated the white-haired boy, for now he was able to see what he couldn't make out from a distance: her big round eyes, lustrous brown hair, and beautiful smile. Nagamichi was so mesmerized by Rissa that he almost didn't catch Takeshi's inquiry about what had impressed him about their training session.
"Well," he began, cheeks reddening slightly, "your ability to counter everything Rissa threw at you. It is quite obvious that you are a lot stronger than both of us, but it is the way you did it. You used maneuvers that i wasn't even considering given the circumstances. For example: when you used Rissa's lunge to your advantage. I like when individuals defy norms and use their wits to make unexpected counters." By now the red on Nagamichi's cheeks was nearly gone. He was becoming animated since strategic combat was his favorite subject in home school. It was the application of strategy games to real combat, which was beneficial to his training as a medic as well. By knowing how and when the opponent made their attacks in different scenarios, he could calculate how much time he had to go in and support. Bringing himself back to the conversation at hand, the white-haired boy turned to face Rissa. "And what impressed me about you, Rissa, was your strength. I'm not sure how long you and Takeshi had been training for, but if it was anyone else i'm sure they would have quit in half the time. I can tell you right now that you are more than likely stronger than me." Nagamichi returned the brown-haired kunoichi's smile.

Takeshi looked at the new shinobi noticing redness in his cheeks as he replied to his question about the training session. He didn't know exactly why Nagamichi's cheeks were red, but that wasn't any worry at this moment so he ignored it for the time being. It seemed that there were two things that impressed the sword carrying medic. One of them was how Takeshi was able to counter everything that Rissa was throwing at him, and his unique counters in which people wouldn't be expecting normally. The he went into how he was impressed at Rissa's strength in taking everything that Takeshi threw at her and not giving up when most people normally would have. Takeshi thought for a moment and realized that Nagamichi was probably correct on that fact. Stretching his shoulder, Takeshi could feel the wound on his back stretch slightly, but not enough to bleed again. He always hated getting wounds on his back due to the fact that every movement seemed to annoy it in some fashion. One thing that he knew from his talking though was that the new shinobi was always putting himself down in the fact that he was sure that the both of them were probably stronger then he was. "Thank you for the complements but you really shouldn't be so harsh on your combat abilities. What you saw was only a part of what we were doing yes, but if you have self confidence you'll show yourself without even knowing it how strong you truly are. Everyone is strong in their own way, I'm sure that there's some way that you're strong as well... you just need to find it..." Takeshi thought about it for a second and pondered. but he thusly threw the thought from his mind as he realized it was getting much later then he was thinking it was. He looked over at Rissa to see how she was fairing, knowing that she was sore from the training. Looking back at Nagamichi, he remembered him stating that he was walking by and then stopped to watch the training but removed the thought yet again. Takeshi thought for a moment, not sure what to say. Then he remembered that Rissa hadn't answered his question about what she was up to yet. He turned to face her while not ignoring Nagamichi. "I'm sorry Rissa, but I never did catch your answer to what you were planning on doing now..." He knew that she'd remember the question since it was just asked a moment ago so he paused his voice and waited for an answer from her and opened his ears in case the white haired medic decided to reply to his statement.

Rissa noticed the blush, but didn't think anything of it. Some people blushed like that sometimes right..? Her own face grew a little red at his mention of her strength, and her ability to last against Takeshi. “It hadn't been that long... Or at least I don't think it had?” She glanced over to Takeshi for a moment, then back to Nagamichi. “Thank you though. No one has really told me that before.” Her smile was soft and sweet, only dimming when Takeshi made an allusion to Nagamichi's words. The brunette glanced between the two, a soft smile present. “He's got a point you know... Especially if you practice. Your body reacts better when it's actually experiencing something, then when your mind is simply comprehending it.

It was silent for a few moments, before Takeshi turned to her, re-asking his question from earlier. She giggled a bit, shaking her head nonchalantly. “No no, it's okay... I was planning on heading home soon. I have a few things to do in the morning, and I'd much rather be awake then half asleep, you know?” She tilted her head a bit as she smiled. For once, the prospect of going home was nice, especially considering her father would still be off on a mission of his own till sometime tomorrow.. And even then he wouldn't show up till the evening time.

Nagamichi couldn't help but notice the slight blush his compliment provoked on Rissa, which caused him to smile little. By her own account no-one had told her that before. Takeshi thanked the white-haired boy for his words and also told him not to be so harsh on himself, everyone was strong in their own way and that all he needed to do was believe in himself. Nagamichi nodded. He found it ironic how Notwen had a habit of always mentioning that whenever the two of them were training. Rissa went on to add, with her ever present smile, that it was better when your body experienced something rather than just trying to comprehend it.
She has a point... he thought. The way Nagamichi usually trained was by watching and trying to understand why things turned out the way they did. Then again, Notwen was always putting more emphasis on trying to understand the bigger meaning and getting a deeper understanding. He wasn't as physical as most people, relying mostly on ninjutsu and genjutsu. Takeshi then turned to Rissa and said that he didn't recall hearing an answer about her plans for what was going to happen next, which was probably what they had been talking about when Nagamichi arrived on the scene. The brunette kunoichi said that she was planning on going home soon because she had things to do in the morning, and didn't want to be half asleep. The white-haired genin thought long and hard about what he wanted to do, then said, "Takeshi, why don't we escort her home?" If there were happenings in the country that required the action of the amount of Jounin he'd seen earlier, letting Rissa go home on her own wasn't the best of ideas. With Takeshi and himself acting as escorts, Nagamichi would feel better and be living up to his role as a body guard.

Rissa seemed to question the thought of lasting so long in training with Takeshi, with nether of them really able to tell exactly how long that they'd been training. In Takeshi's mind set though, it wasn't how long the training was that was important it was if the training had payed off with the learning of something new or the improvement of something already known. Ether way though, Rissa thanked the white haired medic and then added onto Takeshi's point with a slightly different point that still made sense. Then she started to giggling slightly as she answered Takeshi's question about what she was going to do now. It turns out that she was wishing to head home soon since she had plans for the morning and wished to be alert for them and not groggy. This was reasonable since Takeshi could now tell that it was getting late. A breeze picked up slightly with the chill of late evening in its presence. Then Nagamichi spoke up, suggesting that they escort Rissa home. Takeshi thought about this for a second, not truly wishing to head home just yet, and this being a good reason not to head in that direction just yet. Takeshi nodded slightly then looked over to Rissa, then back to the white hair medic. "I'm fine with this as long as Rissa has no objections to it..." He looked over again to Rissa and awaited her response.

Riss blinked lightly at Nagamichi's offer, a bit surprised, even more so when Takeshi agreed. She looked between the two, before sighing and smiling a little. “Thanks, I appreciate it.” She said with a light smile. She gave the two boys a grin, before moving, jumping up to a nearby roof top on the edge of the little park. Her house wasn't all that far, but she wouldn't disappoint them by declining their kind hearted offer. She stopped just long enough for them to join her, before leading the way to her house. It was on the next street over, and down the rows a bit. Soon enough, she dropped from the roof tops in front of the door that would bring her upstairs. “Thank you again, Takeshi, Nagamichi. It was nice of you two to take me home.” She smiled and waved. “Night.” And then she was headed upstairs, her hair bouncing as she did so.
Once in her house, she sighed a bit, heading to her room and leaving the light off. She changed clothes, took what time was needed for her to stretch her body, wincing and groaning a bit as she did, before she crawled into bed, closing her eyes and setting her alarm.

Takeshi agreed to Nagamichi's proposition, and with no objections from Rissa they began to follow the brunette kunoichi to her house via the rooftops. By now the village had grown quieter since and not many people were up and about. During the trek Nagamichi kept mostly quiet. He was ruminating about what had happened to Notwen. Gryu'jiong wasn't all that far from the hidden village so he should have been back home by now. It was at this time when a sinking feeling began to bother his gut. The Jounin he had encountered earlier said that there were strange things happening that evening. What did he mean by that? Was there a link between that statement and the fact that Notwen was still missing? The white-haired boy sighed and put his thoughts to rest. He needed someone to confide in. Takeshi seemed to be pretty smart, so Nagamichi decided to talk to him about what had happened earlier that night.

The walk to Rissa's place wasn't as long as the sword-bearing genin had anticipated. It was literally around the corner and a few streets down. When they arrived to the place Rissa jumped down from the rooftop, landing in front of a door. She thanked the two boys again for escorting her, then opened the door and heading inside. Now that she was gone Nagamichi waited a few seconds before turning to Takeshi.
"Um, Takeshi, i have something i need to talk to you about..." With that said he went on to fill in the older genin about his relationship to Notwen, the Chuunin's departure to Gryu'jiong earlier, and what the Jounin had said prior to leaving the village with the others. "I have been out of contact with him for about two or three hours now. He usually links us mentally when we are apart, but the link has been severed." Nagamichi wanted to say more but thought it would be better to let Takeshi process the information first.

It seemed that there was no objection with Rissa for the two shinobi to escort her home, so with that they went off following her. It seemed that Rissa's house wasn't all that far away from where they were, which was fine since the village was now quiet for the most part. After about a minute or so of traveling upon the rooftops of the village the three genin jumped back down onto the street level in front of the medical kunoichi's house. She thanked both Takeshi and Nagamichi and waved goodnight. Takeshi smiled and gave a small wave back as she turned around, headed up the stairs and disappeared into the houses darkness. Takeshi turned away from the door when she entered it but a moment afterwards the white haired medical shinobi stated that he needed to talk to him about something. Takeshi turned to face him and then listened to what he had to say. It turned out that Nagamichi was right with that fact that he needed to speak to Takeshi about this, since as it seemed they both had the same mentor. Once the white haired medic was finished, Takeshi's mind was still processing everything that had been stated. Notwen had gone to Gryu'jiong, Nagamichi lost the mental connection with him, and while trying to leave, an Jounin told him to stay here so that he wouldn't be caught in what ever was going down in Gryu'jiong. This was a very broad range of events that all seemed to wrap around Notwen. At that moment though, his memory brought up something that had happened that night, his heart sank and he could feel his legs weaken just slightly. Cruxis had seen a vision of someone needing help when he collapsed earlier. He didn't know any more detail though of what exactly he'd seen but knew that this was just too much of a coincidence to not make his mind think of the worst possible case scenario. Looking back to the white haired shinobi, Takeshi thought for a moment then got his thoughts in order. "Two to three hours you say? and a large group of Jounin heading that direction as well... This isn't looking good... Without being able to go there we can't be sure what is happening so they could just be giving him back up right? Do you have any more information that can make this make more sense?" Takeshi was hoping that his worst case scenario was wrong, but wasn't going to remove it as a possibility ether.
PostPosted: Sun Jan 22, 2012 4:30 pm

Nagamichi was right in letting Takeshi have time to think and digest the information because it was quite some time before he said anything. When the older genin inquired about how long ago the younger had been in contact with the Chuunin, he nodded the affirmative. Takeshi continued to speak as he structured his thoughts into a conclusion that did not seem pretty at all.
"I hope that's the case..." stated Nagamichi, his expression downcast. When Takeshi asked whether he had any more information that would help make more sense about what was going on the white-haired boy put his chin between this left index finger and thumb, which was a customary habit he had when he was trying to recall some sort of information. He thought back to a few months after meeting Notwen. He had accompanied the Chuunin on one of his training sessions with General Rai Oh at the Magnetic Cliffs. That particular day the dark-skinned blonde was testing out a new technique, a summoning to be exact. Nagamichi was ordered to stay away until what he saw had dissolved once more. He was a fairly long distance away from the other two, Rai Oh remaining close by in order to keep whatever it was in check if the need arose. When the medic beheld the construct of water for the first time he couldn't believe how huge it was. Its body was translucent and ringed in several places, and it wore some kind of halo above its head. When the summoned creature had dissolved an hour later Nagamichi ran as fast as he could to the spot Notwen and the General had been. There Notwen told him about the incident in which he lost his original left arm to a man named Saikoro Daisuke, who hailed from the Hidden Mist. The summon was meant to even the odds, if only slightly, against people of his level or higher... "Oh no..." said the sword-bearing medic, his heart sinking, "I have a hunch, and i don't think you'll like it. Does the name Saikoro Daisuke ring any bells?" he asked. After letting Takeshi have a moment to answer, Nagamichi went on to explain what he had just recalled to him.

Takeshi looked at the sword bearing medic as he nodded to him when he stated the facts back to formulate his conclusion that more information was going to be needed. Once Takeshi ended his little rant on what he was thinking, the white haired shinobi stated that he hoped that the Jounin were going to give Notwen back up and that was it. Once asked if he had any more information though, Takeshi watched as Nagamichi started to think about what would be useful to them.
After a little while, the first thing that Takeshi heard him say was 'oh no...' which was never a good thing to hear. He then was asked if he knew the name Saikoro Daisuke. Takeshi pondered for a moment and shook his head, since he'd never heard the name before. Nagamichi went on explaining why he'd stated what he did. Takeshi could hardly believe his ears but knew that this was no time for lying so it should be real. If this Saikoro Daisuke had taken Notwen original left arm, and that he'd prepared a summon of such magnitude, it could only mean that he was preparing to a re-match in some time or another. Takeshi shook his head clearing his mind and then looked back at the white haired medic. "We need to find out for sure... any idea where we can get information on what happened out in Gyru'jiong?" He knew that they needed to make sure before they started to fear for the worst.
PostPosted: Mon Jan 23, 2012 8:37 pm

As much as he tried to figure it out, there was nothing that came to Nagamichi's mind. The information that he had gleaned was the only source he had to go by since the Jounin were trying to keep things under wraps too. The white-haired blonde was pretty sure that he and Takeshi were the only people currently who had a remote idea as to what the hell was happening that night. Finally Nagamichi shook his head.
"The lid is too tight on this one, Takeshi." he said, "The only way we can truly know what happened is if we go there ourselves." The sword-bearing medic bit his thumbnail. The temptation to go to Gryu'jiong to see if his sensei was okay was too great, and every second that passed caused him to grow more agitated. But he was reluctant to disobey the Jounin for two reasons: for what he might find if he went anyway, and the possible punishment that may come afterwards.

This morning, a storm was brewing; and thus Cruxis had chosen to exit from his bukujutsu. Flying in such weather always tended to be a risky gambit, and Cruxis was not one to enjoy being flung about along the trees. It truly was a lovely storm that had been going on, however, having previously seen the brewing skies when he roamed road from Gryu'jiong to Hidden Cloud. While a part of him wished to stay outside and stare up at the sky and let the rain take him, he knew that he would end up with pneumonia if he was so foolish enough to do such a thing. He might be meeting up with a medical-nin in training, but that didn't mean that he was immune to illness. So to get out of the rain he headed into the pastry house, a quiet, yet popular place in the Southern Gardens District in which people could relax, dine, and enjoy wonderful pastries before (or after) a stressful day.
Luckily for Cruxis the bits of blood that had been on his shirt from yesterday had washed away in the rain water. His hair was soaked along with the rest of him, removing the muddy and soaked cloak attachment from over his shoulders in order to toss the damaged accessory aside before wringing out his shirt and then his hair before heading into the tea and pastry house. He was a regular customer here, spending large amounts of time here enjoying various pastries to figure out his favorite combinations while he examined over notes. In a sense the pastry house was his own miniature paradise.
However, there was someone that had caught his eye who he planned to meet today. An young woman who was training as a medic, and who had lovely eyes; though Cruxis would never tell her such upfront; at least not right away. The silver-haired gennin blinked his steel blue eyes, tilting his head from left to right curiously, looking to see if she had already arrived. Pacing forwards until reaching the end of the tea house he stopped at the last booth; and took a seat in the corner booth of the establishment with his gaze staring out towards the window as he waited for her, watching the rain trickle down the glass.

Takeshi watched Nagamichi as he started to think about where they could find more information on what happened in Gryu'jiong. It took some time, but in the end the white haired medic shook his head. It turns out that the only way to get more information was to go there and observe it for themselves... Takeshi pondered for a second but then shook his head as well. "Well going right now would be a bad idea... we'd best go tomorrow morning or early afternoon. Give the Jounin that left some time to go and fix what ever happened... we can start our investigation then. Sound like a plan?"

((Gah... brain fart v_v))

It had started raining by the time Rissa came into view of the chosen pastry shop, running a few minutes behind as she hurried along. The young medic nin only hoped that her companion hadn't left when she wasn't there. She sighed as she reached the tea house, taking the time to shake her umbrella, before she put it away, and slipped inside the building, looking around curiously.

All the different aromas of baked goods and tea leaves set her nose alive, and Rissa had to take a moment to sample the air, breathing deeply. She then spotted Cruxis, in the back, and smiled, moving over to him and slipping in to the opposite side of the booth. “Sorry I'm a little late... I had to find my umbrella.” she explained apologetically, smiling sweetly. “This place smells wonderful I know... I can't help but wonder why I've never found it before.” She giggled a bit, once again glancing around the room, relatively happy. Her body was still a bit sore, but that was more bruises than anything else.
So... What do you suggest for a first timer here...?” She asked her male companion, eyes focusing on him and him alone for the time being.
