⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way The next morning, the bored student walked into the Arts building, his portfolio tucked safely under his arm. Hopefully that terrible teacher wouldn't be in the room again. Peter turned up his music slightly, stopping when he finally got to the door. "Hope he's not here," he murmured to himself before grabbing the knob and turning. He stepped inside, standing silently in wait for yet another disgusting display. And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont Instead, he walked in just before class started. There were many students already seated, some walking in just like the bored student, and standing at the front of the class was the teacher. "Good morning class." the teacher said with an Australian accent. He set down his marker and turned around to smile charmingly at the class. "My name is Mr. Belmont. I'm the new art teacher here, so please bear with me." He glanced over at the bored student and blinked at him. Ah, the guy from yesterday. He still had that delicious smell to him.

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way The students winced as Peter walked into the room, his usual cold aura familiar to most of them. He looked up at the teacher, shocked by the accent, but not showing it. He reached up, pulling out one bud for a second. "Just stay out of my way," he said, deep voice almost dreamy. In fact, he would be very handsome if he wasn't so... scary. The man strode over to his easel, setting down his portfolio and sitting on the stool. He didn't bother to sit in a desk, since he never did, and put the bud back into his ear as he crossed his arms and leaned back against the wall. "Peter Shell, here. Lucian Cavalier, your teaching assistant, won't be here today, so mark him absent." The other students were a little shocked. This was the most they'd ever heard Peter talk. And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont The teacher, however, was unimpressed. "Right. I got the email, but in the meantime - Oh! Hey! I've got a crazy idea! How about you sit on that desk, hmm?" he suggested and waved a hand towards the desk closest to Peter. "It's awfully hard to sketch while standing without an easel, after all." he said.

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way "I don't like desks," he said, bringing one long leg up to set his foot on the desktop. "They're uncomfortable, and I can't work properly in one. Got any other crazy ideas, Ecchi-sensei?" Peter asked, reaching up to adjust his earbuds. The students gasped. Pervert teacher? Did Peter really just call him that? Wh-what the hell? Was he trying to get in trouble?! Peter didn't care, though. He stared up, expression as bored as ever, at the teacher, as if challenging him. "Besides, I can't sketch in this classroom. The work ethic is pathetic." And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont Hayden quirked an eyebrow at him. "Hmm... Ecchi... That means pervert, right?" he murmured while scratching his chin. A smile suddenly spread across his lips. "Heh. I like it." he chuckled, though his eye twitched when he saw the earbuds in Peter's ears. Ugh, earbuds. Those things were too painful to want to listen to music with. It just wasn't worth it, and it ruined your ears! "Well now, Mr. Shell!" Hayden called out loud enough to be heard over the earbuds. He turned around and picked up an eraser then spun on his heel and hurled it at the boy's head. "Perhaps you're not good enough for my class." He said and straightened up to put a hand on his hip. "It doesn't matter how good you draw, someone with a closed mind cannot be called an artist. How else will they be able to see the beauty of the world? An artist draws in any surrounding, be it one he hates or one he loves. Those subtle factors are what makes the art come to life! It shows their emotions and their thoughts! Now I'll ask you again, why don't you take a seat?"

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way Peter flinched as the eraser hit his forehead, not moving as it hit the ground. He then stood, pulling the earbuds out of his ears and glaring at his teacher. "Make me," he challenged, shoving his earphones into his pocket and keeping his hand there. "An artist doesn't let others define his workplace. The entire world is his canvas, his imagination, his paints. I don't need a pervert like you telling me what to do when it comes to my trade. I will remain standing." And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont Hayden just smirked and dug his hands in his pockets. "Using the same tactic for a comeback is actually a form of flattery, did you know that? It means you couldn't think of a sufficient comment on your own, so you had to use mine." he said cheerfully with sparkles around his face from the tidbit. "Although a painter does use the entire world as his canvas, it has no use if he's close-minded. Perfect example right here, you were so focused on getting me down with a comeback of your own that you forgot about the information that just neutralized your thoughts. It's also a very nice example of irony~" Hayden beamed. Just then the bell rang. He tilted his head back and stared at the ceiling. Time really flew by, huh? "Alright, see you tomorrow class. I'd like you to draw me whatever it is you like to draw. This will help me see what kind of artists I have." he smiled then looked at Peter, his eyes glimmering like a hawk's or a snake's. "Except you, Mr. Shell. You stay here a bit."

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way Steaming from the argument beforehand, Peter remained in place, not bothering to remove his eyes from the teacher even as the students filtered out. When the door finally slammed closed, he grimaced a little, but hid it well. "What do you want? Going to keep yelling at me?" he mocked. And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont "Oh, we'll see where the conversation leads." the teacher shrugged and put his hands into his pockets. "Tell me, is this attitude of yours your way of coping with dealing with me after what you saw?" he asked, referencing yesterday.

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way "Do you really think I care about what I saw yesterday?" he replied, leaning on the wall. He pulled his hands out of his pockets, crossing them behind his head and sighing with boredom. "I've seen worse at this school, Belmont. You'll have to do better than that to a reaction. As for my attitude, this is just my way of reminding you to stay in your place, which is out of my way. Now. Class is over, and it's free period for the art room. Would you mind going to screw a student in a different room so I can access my paints?" And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont With a smirk, Hayden strode up to Peter and grabbed his chin, making sure that his head couldn't move away. "Say whatever you like, but you can't hide behind these eyes." he smirked while leaning in close, his light brown eyes clear under the lighting. "Beneath that tough guy attitude, you're something else, aren't you? Lonely? Depressed?" Delicious? he thought and licked his lips at the thought.

⊗ Peter Shell ⊗ Get the hell out of my way Peter, shocked at the sudden movement, lowered his hands to the man in defense, only succeeding in getting his arms trapped between them. How on Earth was this guy so strong? "Get the hell off of me!" he snarled, glaring despite fear of the unknown. He wasn't lonely, or depressed. Peter LIKED being alone... Didn't he? And stay away from my paintings

Hayden Belmont Hayden smirked, his grip not loosening. "You know, you've got really pretty eyes, Pete. They're so blue and full of doubt." he chuckled and leaned in closer until their lips were barely touching. Suddenly, he let go of the student's chin and stepped away, giving him room to move. "Better hurry or class will start without you! Oh, you've got detention, by the way~ Don't even think about skipping, because I'll just hunt you down~" he said cheerfully.
