The Doctor hit himself on the head. "This is what happens when you transfer raw energy to such a complex mind." he said while mad at himself for not remembering. "Now how to fix this." he said while thinking to himself.

"BLACK HOLE!" she exclaimed as if unable to contain herself, "must be compressed... harnessed into a singularity... tears a hole into the time vortex... anywhere in time and space... focusing beam... the energy must be focusedfocusedfocusedfocusedfocu-"
She covered her mouth with her hand though she kept talking. Her muffled voice seeping out between her fingers.
Jack stared at Aven then at the Doctor.
"When did she get exposed?" he asked placing a hand on her shoulder. "What's happening to her?"
"Oh that one's easy!" Aven chirped, "My neural synapses were compressed and have now been released all at one like a great big box of springs. And now the electrical impulses in my brain are making all sorts of connections and solving every problem that I've been working on. It's a bit overwhelminminminminmin-"
Again she covered her mouth with her hands as she rambled on.

The Doctor looked up at Jack. "I kinda gave her my own energy to wake her up from that device that they put on her back in the lab. I should have remembered that my energy would have been to much for her to handle. Good thing you haven't had a problem yet. But then again, we could just kill you and you'll be fine when you wake up." He said while putting a hand on Aven's head to read her thoughts.

"Thanks," Jack glowered, "I resent that every problem is solved by someone killing me."
There was a hurricane of thought inside of Aven's mind, a brainstorm as it were. Thoughts that the TARDIS had poured into her mind and had yet to be absorbed whirled around her. Sontarans, Daleks, Silurians, Cybermen, Autons... Donna, Martha, Rose, Grace, Ace, Perri, Sara Jane, Jo Grant...
Aven stood in the eye of the hurricane leading it like a director to an orchestra. She sensed automatically the moment the Doctor stepped into her mind.
"Fancy meeting you here..."

The Doctor now focused on the storm in Avens Mind. He started to calm it down and pulled the information that she had not yet seen out of her mind. "Aven, you need to stop taking this information all in. It's going to tear you apart if you keep bringing it in." he said seriously to her with Telepathy.

Aven was far too interested in the wonders of the universe to pay attention to him.
"What are you talking about?" she asked tilting her head back and absorbing another memory, "this will only take a moment... Ah... faster than light travel... so simple... Diamond planet? Midnight... what's... so dark..."

The Doctor sighed and walked towards her. When he finally reached her he put his hands on her shoulders. "I am so sorry." he said as he head butted her.

Aven had just enough time to look puzzled before stars exploded in her eyes. She jerked away from him stunned and shocked. He'd hit her. The Doctor had hit her... The storm raged on and she found herself backing away from the Doctor as the world spun wildly and began to dim.
"Why..." she mumbled before the world went black and the dying storm closed in around her.
"You shouldn't have done that... now there's no one to stand in the way," a cold voice echoed in the void followed by a blast of psychic energy aimed at the Doctor's consciousness. "Get out."
Jack had been observing the two silently when suddenly the TARDIS lurched and a spray of sparks showered the control room.
'What the... OOF!"

The Doctor sighed as he watched her. Then he flew out of her mind. He looked up at Jack in a wirl. "Hold her down." he said while running up to the console. And started to type in a code but it sparked all over him. He ran back to Aven and looked at Jack. "We can't do anything for her except one thing." he said while looking back down at Aven with a scared and sad look.

Jack did as he was told though Aven didn't move a muscle. He didn't like the look in the Doctor's eyes as he punched something into the console and had it explode into sparks.
"What are you planning?" he said giving him a wary glance.
Everything was black. The Darkness had returned as it always did. She had done something bad and her father had sent her to the Darkness to think about what she'd done... but no, that wasn't right. Her father hadn't sent her to the Darkness, the Doctor had. She felt a prickle of sadness at the thought as she approached the only other thing inside the terrible nothingness. A mirror.
"Back so soon! I thought you were free now..." the reflection mocked her, "But all you did was trade our father for the Doctor. Merely switched masters haven't we? Did you do something naughty for him to put you in time out?"
It was Aven, and it wasn't Aven. The reflection was what the girl might have become had she not been so strictly trained... a psychopath.
"He did it for our own good," she replied to the taunts in a small voice.
"Let me out Aven, oh the things we could do! Let me out... and I'll show you what freedom really tastes like. The Doctor is a fool. All of time and space and he's satisfied with just watching it. We can do better... let me out Aven. Just for a little while. He has a dark side as well... let me out, and we can let the Doctor's inner self visit..."

The Doctor looked at Jack. "See you in another life." And then he suddenly kissed Aven. He really needed to come up with another way to transfer and take out energy. As he kissed her he started to pull out all the energy and memories that had affected her in such a strange and disorderly way. All the memories that he had wanted to forget came back to him, he had to fix Aven quick before something bad happened. When he had finally finished he pulled back and his hands started to glow gold.

Something deep inside Aven clicked. Perhaps her latent Empathy had blasted her with a warning, but either way her eyes shot open and she sat up. Every fiber in her being said something was wrong. The ever-present voices in her head were silent even the taunting darkness was gone. She was alone and she could feel the Doctor was in pain.
"What did you do?!" she cried as his hands began to glow. She reached out and took them in hers. Energy, raw energy had been introduced into his body and had destroyed his cells. "You stupid man! Why did you do that?! I was perfectly fine!"
Jack was struck speechless as he saw the Doctor practically give his final farewell, and even more so when Aven popped up and started yelling at him as if nothing had happened.

The Doctor laughed at her. "You wouldn't remember anything now." he then grunted and fell back. He started to tremble. "I'm so sorry." he said as some tears came to his face. He was so so scared. He didn't want to leave this body.

He began to glow and Aven noticed the flow of the energy rippling through his body. Another emotion shot through her straight to the heart... fear. The Doctor was scared.
Jack grabbed Aven and pulled her back his eyes filled with sadness.
"Aven, there's nothing to be done," he whispered.
For a moment Aven was quiet and then she made a sound akin to a very pissed tiger. Energy... it was all about energy...
"THE HELL THERE ISN'T!" she snarled and broke free of Jacks grip before grabbing his wrist and yanking him along. "You pair of complete and utter... IDIOTS!"
Without a second though she leaned over the Doctor grabbed him by the front of his shirt.
"Look at me Doctor," she all but ordered her eyes softening, "I'm not leaving you, and you're not going to die, you hear me?"
With that she yanked him close and kissed his lips. Her still mind quickly sprung into action and pulled the energy out of the Doctor. The crackle of power passed through her like a lightning bolt and into Jack's wrist. If the Doctor was going to be the meltdown, she was the conductor, and Jack the release valve.
Jack gave a yelp as he felt the energy burn through his wrist and heat his skin.

The Doctor's eye's widened as he felt the energy leave him. This was a first. His regeneration had stopped and he was still kissing Aven which made him blush a bit.
