Angel thought about it, and the more she did the more she liked it, and she smiled and started rubbing her cheek against Mala's shoulder. When she heard the prospect of a drinking contest, she asked, "Can I join?"

Ceri heard this. She said, "Amd I going to have to be designated mage again?" She blushed when Alek said those things. He knew what it was like, then, to lose someone close.

Rincewind sighed. "I'm always left out of everything." He said to himself, looking at the ground.

"You blush a lot," Alek noted. "It makes your blood rush and it makes me want to kiss you." It was a simple statement of fact and as he let his heart beat (vampires could start it up again when they needed to blend in) he felt a light blush creeping onto his own cheeks.

"If you can't get drunk, then there would be no competition. So no. However, you can still drink plenty of ale if you so like." Mala told Angel. She seemed a bit more eager now, wanting to see if she could out-drink Van.

((No good can come of this. XD They're either going to wind up taking care of Riley's drunken a**, or he passes out while the other two keep going until someone gets drunk and starts spilling some emotional secret or something. >XD ))

Angel smiled happily, then noticed someone lonely. She snapped her fingers, making Val jump in surprise. Nothing surprised Alek. "Val, you need to make happy."
Sighing, Val lagged so she was walking with Rincewind. "You smell like demon," she mused. "Are you posessed?"

"Angel's a bit latched onto her at the moment," Alek said. There was a hint of uncharacteristic shyness in his voice. Truthfully, something about Ceri, probably the way she acted, or something about her face... well, he liked her a little, which was odd because he'd never liked anyone but his sisters.

Ceri nodded. "I appreciate the thought, Alek, but you see....I don't really want a relationship. At all. I need to focus on my studies." She blushed a little. "Though I'm sure it would be fun."
