Glad to have found someone he could have an intelligent debate with, Adney nodded to show he understood her statement, even if he didn't agree with her. "Ah, but community classes can be considered higher education. They go above and beyond what is required by the government, and so aren't 'lesser' or even 'average'." he grins at her, hands still in his pockets. "Higher education may not be for everyone, but it still saddening to see people who are more than equipped for it give up on it."

Tristan started to build the tower higher and higher. She wasn't sure what she wanted to really do. "So have you ever had any other girlfriends before me?" She asked. Remember a rule her brother had. Make sure that he was worth it because there was a reason his old girlfriend dumped him

Sky smiled at least he agree that community classes were great. It was really nice to learn different subjects that were out there. "Well I can't read anyways. For me it was always a pain in the butt." Sky revealed a bit into her medical history. She had problems reading and learning new words was a pain in the butt.

Community classes were indeed great, and the redhead knew from experience; he'd taken quite a few classes himself to try and further his own education, in an attempt to earn more money to support his little brother. Deciding to leave this bit in the past, his smile wavered slightly at her confession. "Really?" he raised an eyebrow, wondering just how that had gotten by the school. After a moment, he shrugs, a faint smirk reappearing at his lips. "Things for the best are never easy." he repeated, unsure of how she'd take it. He enjoyed reading, but he knew that plenty of people found it boring or tedious.

Sky was going to give up. She didn't really want to tell someone who was just a passing moment in her life about the fact that she got by with her reading. Dyslexia wasn't fun. "I probably would take college classes if there was a reason." She didn't give a list of what would change her mind. But things like a boyfriend, couldn't work her normal job, or wanted to reach for a dream was on that list.

Chuckling slightly, he raised a hand and waved it. "Bah, reasons!" his tone was dismissive, as if it didn't matter. "Reasons good enough for one person, are never good enough for everyone." he smiles, hand dropping back to his side. "Personally, I find no better reasons than self enjoyment and self betterment, but that's just me." he shrugs, never pushing for anything.

Ashley came up behind Adney. "I bet if she had a boyfriend she would continue school." The young crossdresser commented. "Don't sneak up behind people Ashley." Sky commented. "I wonder what my sister looks like in a dress." Ash continued. He then started to walk around them again. Sky frowned. "I would probably continue if I had a reason to stick around."

Adney might have jumped if he hadn't already heard the footsteps in the sand behind him; his senses were too well-trained to let something like that go unnoticed. Glancing over his shoulder at the young man behind him, he raised an eyebrow at him. "A boyfriend? I have a younger brother, but I think he's seeing someone." one hand withdrew from his pockets, reaching up to rub his chin a moment in thought. "But he might have a friend or something." he was missing the obvious hints from the girl's brother, turning his eyes back to Sky. "A reason? Well, what do you want to do with your life?"

His brow furrowed slightly at Ashley's reference to a movie, but the redhead had no idea what he meant; he hadn't really seen any of those movies, and the ones he had, he hadn't paid much mind. He turned his attention back to Sky, and his expression cleared once more. He smiled again, faintly. "Oh, you're young. Don't decide on a path now. Things change way to fast to be sure of anything." while his outwards expression remained calm, a small note of bitterness crept into his voice.

Ashley moved in close again. "You should ask her out." He commented so low that his sister couldn't hear. It was in a challenge to the the teacher. "We can talk about a deal later if you go out with her." Ash added. Sky nodded. "If nothing changes then I'll probably go right into the work force. There is rarely a strong reason for me to change my mind too."

A deal? His eyes narrowed imperceptibly, and he glanced over his shoulder at the young man. He raised an eyebrow at the brother, questioning. He wasn't one to ask someone out because he could get something out of it, and he seriously wondered what the brother was up to. He could see the merits in trying to change the girl's mind, but he wasn't quite sure this was something he wanted. Giving an inaudible sigh, he turns back to Sky, raising an eyebrow. A faint smirk appeared at his lips, one hand holding his bangs from his face. "Go on a date with me." he offers, fingers combed through his bangs. "Just to show you that there are certainly reasons."

Sky was a little surprised and all Ashley did was smile. the girl stepped back and for once probably really did look like a girl. A thousand thoughts rained through her mind. It was like a study date right. There was nothing wrong with a study date. "Fine I agree to it." She told the man. Her eyes turned into something like it was a challenge for her. This date was a chance for her to prove something.

He smiled at her reactions, watching the array of changes on her face before speaking. "Great. How does tomorrow night at six work for you?" he asks, knowing he had nothing planned the next day. He wasn't sure about any other dates in the future, he had a phone to keep track of such things for him, but tomorrow he knew would work. He didn't need to look over at the girl's brother to know his reaction; he was undoubtedly pleased, having gotten exactly what he wanted. Adney, however, was wondering just what he'd gotten himself into this time.
