On another note: I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this sentence made any sense? Sometimes I think our disbelief somehow changes our reality in a sort of collective unconscious/consensual reality way-perhaps our willingness/unwillingness affects the paradigm? It's making me feel stupid.

Very nice outfit!
And the sentence does make sense, but uses big words. Basically it's saying:
Sometimes I think that if everyone believes something's true...is that what makes it true? And if everyone believed differently, would stuff change?

why couldn't he just say that! I understood it but it didn't sound right. too much negating what was just said. that is not a common use of the word paradigm though it is the correct use. this person who said it often tries to use words that made it seem like he sat there with a thesaurus. and i swear he makes up half the words. really, they don't exist.

and the worst part is that it really didn't have anything to do with what we were talking about. it's like we'll be having a fine conversation and then outta nowhere he gives out a post that has a bunch of big words and then trails off topic. and the guild has younger kids in it so no one ever responds.

Very much so, half the threads I've come across are created to get people riled up, or to blatantly state an opinion that upsets people, call it fact, and argue with those who disagree.
And yes, it IS funny when they spell/use larger, less common words wrong. lol

I don't know if it's like this for anyone else, but when I get angry online and I feel the need to post something, I use larger/less common words more often than I normally would. Like my speech actually improves when I'm irate. sweatdrop
Yeah. . . just thought I'd throw that in there. ninja

I was like how am I supposed to say you're an idiot now? plus in the suggestion thread where I suggested that they add to the rule about misspelling words, that they shouldn't make up words, he said it's okay to make them up and listed all sorts of words I didn't understand. It's so frustrating!
