Doug started to laugh, to laugh in quite a long time. He almost forgot how to stop! "You know you're not supposed to be reading minds here." he said and looked down at her. "But if I'm fire, then does that mean I'm hot?" he smirked, beginning to sound like his old self.

"Just like old times, eh?" Doug smiled.

"Yeah." Doug muttered. He could still remember how that felt. All his rage and darkness unleashed and taking ahold of him. All he could think about was when to hurt so and so, how to hurt them, and what to do after that. Those thoughts sent shivers down his spine.

Rosie looked down at the ground. There was an awkward sense to the air between the twins. She raised her eyes and looked around at the area. There really wasn't much around. "Are there any others around here?" Rosie's voice squeaked out. She still wasn't quite comfortable with her twin. Jade had been picking at a hangnail on her pointer finger. But at the sound of her twins voice, she raised her head and turned her attention to Rosie. "What? Oh, yea there are others. I just don't know where." Her voice was softer than when they had first met. During their strange first moments of when they met, Jade had realized, her twin wasn't as outspoken and willing to put herself out there as she was. Rosie is quieter, and she probably spends her time at home alone, Jade thought to herself with a snicker. Jade, no! You can't do that, she's your twin, your supposed to be kind and nice to your twin, she's your sister for gods sake. She scolded herself mentally. "So, I think we should start walking, um, that way!" Jade pointed north, and started to walk. Rosie followed, soon catching up and walking right next to Jade. "Um, what type of things are you into?" Rosie asked, trying to break the silence between them. Jade smiled at Rosie's trying to communicate with her. "Well, talking, for one thing. Anything that involves me either being talked about or being in the spotlight really," She shrugged. "What about you?" It was only fair that Jade ask a question in return. Rosie smiled slightly. Jade smiled also, deciding that her sister had a pretty good smile. "I'm into art, and reading. That's how I usually spend my time. Either drawing or reading." Rosie cursed herself for saying that. Her twin probably thought she was a nerd. She should have lied and said something glamorous. Jade looked over at her twin, and nodded. "I can tell. But that's cool." She was actually going to say "Yea, you look like someone who would spend their time doing that." But she had stopped herself, deciding that it would have been slightly rude. Jade would have to watch what she said around her twin, her guess was, that Rosie didn't have as think skin as she did, and one wrong thing said, could destroy her.

Rosie and Jade had kept up a small, quiet conversation as they walked, long pauses between each sentence one of them said. Rosie had once again been keeping her eyes on the ground. But she quickly raised them, having a strange feeling budding in the pit of her gut. She pushed her glasses up closer to her eyes and stared. Up ahead, there was a tree, and leaning against that tree, was a body. "Oh My God! There's someone leaning on that tree! It looks hurt, should we go help?" She looked over at her twin quizzically, praying her twin didn't have a cold heart. Jade stared back at her twin. "Um, sure." As soon as the words left Jade's lips, Rosie bolted and ran to the tree. As she got closer, She could tell is was a girl, and she truly was hurt. She skidded to a stop at the tree, slightly panting. "Are...are you okay?"

Rosie nodded. She turned to look for Jade. Jade had come up right behind her, unknown to Rosie. "The temple? I've heard of it, don't know where it is really, but I've heard of it. If you can tell us the way we'll help you get there." Jade wasn't usually this nice, but something inside her felt the need to help. Rosie nodded, stretching out her hand to help the girl up. "I'm Rosie, and this is my sister Jade," Jade wiggled her fingers. "Which way do we head?"
