Official Mary Black Javier Cross Official Mary Black Thalia headed for the beach. Memories rushing in her head... She spotted Mary and ran as fast as she can and jumped on her back which made her shreik so loud. "MARY!!!"
"Oh gods! Thalia!!" Mary gave Thalia a huge hug. It's been so long since they last seen each other, Mary was so happy that she was here... Just like old times. Almost anyways.  Mina felt nothing short of downright startled that she could even sense the literally electrifying Aura of Thalia's(the Neo-Thalia's) Presence, as Mina felt rather (pardon the expressionate pun) shocked and awe-struck that Thalia has returned to Camp, and like that, she left Cross with Clarisse without even waiting for Chris Rodriguez to show up, and ran in speeds that even Cross had a hard time tracking in normal mode without entering combat, when Mina finally came to Mary and Thalia. 'If i ever wanted a chance to apologize to Miss Grace for all the wrongs i ever managed to do by her, since we 1st met in earnest, this is the chance to do this, step it up, Daughter of Gwen Fay, if you ever wanted to show your remorse without coming across as a weakling, do this, now!!!' Mina thought to herself, as she goes to look at Thalia, did the gestures that were part of her paternal ancestor's customs and then said, "Thalia, i'm so sorry," as she then goes to grant Thalia the biggest non-lethal hug her father's ancestral strength would permit her to do, just to convey to her how much she's sorry for running away like that in the 1st time they met and beyond.
Mary laughed to herself. So like Thalia to not remember people she wasn't close with. "For having to bring you the flowers before we actually had a chance for better conversations then storming off for no reason," Mina admitted, already feeling terrified on the inside-out that she was going to fail Thalia, if she didn't be honest about the apology, and fearing she's failing her even with the honesty. 'Mother...Father...Ancestors what am i doing wrong?Why do i feel like i'm about to fail at everything and disgrace you all, so royally you'd disown me?' Mina admitted in her thoughts, in private, already nervous that if she messes up, she was not only going to let Thalia down, but also disgrace too many of her family and friends, in the process. 'I'm not even sure if entering the Arena with Thalia would be of help, at this rate, until literally enough of us has assembled, what if Thalia is displeased. as Mina gets cut off.

Mary looked over at Thalia. Thalia wont like Mina's answer. Mary remembers very well how Thalia feels towards Aphy kids. Mary couldn't blame her to be honest. Mary walked up to Thalia and whispered in her ear "Your not going to like her answer at all about the godly parent." Thalia looked at her she looked annoyed and rolled her eyes like she already knew the answer. Surprisingly Thalia just let out a little chuckle, which just made Mary do her "famous" half smile.

"I was one of the people who saw Silena die when the Drakon reappeared, i'd rather not talk about that bit, either," Mina admitted, as she then added, "Before that, i had to engage the late lady Nightshade in the Arena before the match started, and it didn't get any true conclusions like it should have gotten, before she left," as Mina felt upset that she couldn't get the tones she felt Nightshade had said in her words against Silena, as Mina didn't even dare to read the tones behind the idea of how love could be as worthless as honoring promises in general. 'Mother fights to honor her word, even though i cannot always believe myself to condone or agree with Mother's methods back then, albeit she may have mellowed out, somewhat, it still troubles me, really,' as Mina said this as a concerned child legitimately worried about her parent, rather than as a historian, always worried that at any moment, a nightmarish thing would happen to her mother at any moment, as Mina couldn't shake off the idea at all. She felt the weight of her own mortality set in, as she was already uneased by the ideas that her mother would be removed if she couldn't be destroyed outright by Mina's 'step-grandmother', Grandmother Earth, basically speaking.

Alex and Elizabeth were walking along the beach when they saw the crowd gathered not too far ahead of them. "Oh my gosh, is that Thalia?"
"Well, let's think about this for a second. She looks like Thalia, she talks like Thalia, by golly if she's not Thalia--"
"Stop being so annoying Elizabeth. Just because your smart does not mean you have to be sarcastic."
"Well, if you weren't so thick headed--"
The arguing continued all the way to meeting Thalia and the rest of the group.

Mina didn't read Thalia's mind, she didn't intend to violate her at all so in order to ensure no disrespect was to be done, she didn't even use her paternal family's thought-reading via mind through magic, as now if Mina didn't feel so terrified of disappointing Thalia before(and she already did right before she thought about apologizing to her) she was already freezing on the inside-out, now. It was enough to make Mina swear a River Styx!-oath that she wasn't going to be a scumbag like Drew happened to be, violate her promises(something not even her own mother would dream of doing, in good conscience) every chance she gets(which is what would be expected of Drew, here's hoping it won't apply to everyone else among mother's children!) or break hearts without even so much as either a warning or even legitimately just causes(not even a last-ditch attempt at being cruel to be kind, either!) but she couldn't do that, outright, because then there's just cause to fear she has disgraced Thalia in doing so. Mina then mustered up her courage, grabbed her cross and then turned it into a powerful sword Mina felt reluctant to use, as Mina then asked, "If i face you in the arena, will i be able to prove my own worth and convince you that i meant you no harm back when we 1st met, i meant you no harm when i rooted for you in the last Capture the Flag match of Lady Nightshade's life, and i mean you no harm now?" as Mina meant it when she had to utter the name of Thalia's predecessor, who was one of Hermes' aunts and in turn one of Mary's Great-Aunts via Hermes' mum's side. Mina was terrified of grieving if she didn't resolve her own personal issues of fear in talking with and befriending Thalia, but she equally dreads that its gonna happen even if she attempts it, anyhow. Mina felt like her heart, where her thoughts were placed, was going to shake and shatter to millions of shards when it was bad enough her heart broke for a while, once(where she made paintings with her own tears, in fact!), when Mina tried to think to herself, 'Only the hard and strong may consider themselves Spartans...only the hard...only the strong...' as Mina feared disgracing Queen Sparta outright if she dishonors this tradition via failing to meet the most positive of Thalia's expectations. She then quickly noted in a few nano-seconds that Alex and Elizabeth were arriving, as Mina thought to herself, 'Any other time, and i'd have next to no qualms about flirting with Alex or Elizabeth, as long as i don't break any hearts, but here?The Fates are trying to warn me that something bad will happen to my heart even when i am not out to shatter or freeze that of others except to defend myself, aren't they?Why didn't i listen, what did i do wrong?' as Mina didn't want to show weakness to Thalia, lest she disgraces all her paternal ancestors put together and additionally fail to redeem her mother's generally Knight Templaristic Reputation, all at the same time. 'I feel my orientation's going to do me more harm than good, as ever, i'm sorry, everyone,' Mina thought to herself, as she was already feeling ill at ease and fearing she could enter a catatonic state and wind up taking just about everyone else with her, in the process, due to the area of effect for her mother's love + lust magic and how powerful Mina happened to be. 'I don't want to rob anyone of their free wills, either, why do i feel that at any moment i just might do that even when i really don't want to do so?' as Mina's eye-colors were altered from Sapphire Blue to Cyan, to Brown, back to Cyan from her failing efforts to try not to show weakness to Thalia and prove herself more harmful to Thalia than good, before Thalia can even accept Mina's request of the Arena, in earnest. (Yep, Mina's being a Type-B Tsundere at the moment, she's always been like that, in general, but now its more than usual!)
