Alice didn't have a chance to evade, so Merril landed on her, "Ow!" she cried in pain, then she groan about her back. She helped Merril and then stand up to herself, "Sorry about my brothers, when it comes for investigation, they became impatient," she apologize to her second in command. She heard Milly asking a questions, Alice place her finger on her chin to think, "We are in Italy. We are here because my brothers got the message from Italian Assassins about the corpses, they said it's not work of assassins nor templars attacking them," she told her very calmly, she have seen corpse all the times, rot or fresh. It doesn't scare her. She look at those two for a moment, she lean against the wall and cross her arms with a smile, "I might believe, we will meet one of fellow assassins to show us the body that he, she or they found."

Alice listen to them, she's about to speak, but one of assassin came and see them as he walk by, "Thank goodness you all here. There is something you all need to see," he greets them and inform them where they found. Alice take this a serious job, "We will see those bodies," she replied and look at her friends, "Come on you two, let's check it out," she told her friends. The man nodded and lead the way, Alice follow him to where they found the corpses.

The assassin lead them to where witness the bodies, after a long way, he stop and show them by pointing at two bodies, "We found those corpse few days ago, our creeds never done it, and we suspect about Templar, so we stole their records, but they didn't do it," he explains to girls, Alice listens to him and walk towards to bodies to take a closer look. She kneed down and remove the cloth, she sees man and woman with indigo eyes. She begin feel something familiar about them, which she remember Hikari and Spirited Yami, Yami has indigo eyes. Alice look at him, and Merril and Milly, "I think someone murder them, but I have feeling something isn't right."

Alice thought of it, she look at the corpses and begin to wonder what cause about the Dark Ones became a corpse. However she heard the question about "leave us with" part, Alice wonder about this, "We need to find Yami-san and ask him about this, if we encounter Hikari-san or Serenity-san. Those two have purple eyes," she suggested, until she skit her feet on the man corpse hand, she quickly stiffen and turn around to see two souls looking at her with dark look, this doesn't scare her and begin to wonder, "Where are they coming from?" she ask herself, making one assassin give himself a confusion look, not very aware of her as priestess. Those spirits witness her golden perfect amulet and Merril's silver amulet, Alice wonder what's going on and probably ask them how did they ended up dead.

Alice look at two ghosts, until she heard both Milly and Merril about it as she look at them. Young assassin begin to wonder about who leaves the bodies in the streets, "If my mentor is still alive, he will give us a hint, or this Hawk-san, I think you remember that guy who attacked us back in Nagano," she told them as she mention her late mentor, Atticus Nanashi, and Hawk. Alice look at Milly and about to agree with her, but the assassin cut it off, "Wait, it might that Black Shadow responsible," he inform them as Alice look at him very skeptical. That doesn't ring the bell, "Black Shadow?" she questioning him like big question mark above her head. The assassin look at the Japanese Mentor as he gasp, "What? You don't know who is Black Shadow really is!" he exclaimed. Alice only shook her head as a reply. The assassin look at Merril and Milly, "What about you? You know anything about Black Shadow?"

Assassin listen to Merril and Milly, then he sigh as Alice let him go on, "I guess, I will give you the information about him. There's the rumors about Black Shadow, he's master of the shadow, he has something that no Assassins can do. No one knows what does he look like, but he can kill templars without alerting others. We try to track him to find out who he is, but he disappeared in thin air," he explains to them. Alice blinked couple times and notice his look, "Please go on, I need to know where this Black Shadow disappeared to,"" she said to urge him to continue. The Assassin nodded and continue, "The last we saw him was, he's heading to Japan, but we clearly heard him said something about 'Allison'. That is all we know," he continue until he said Allison, this make Alice's body became tense after she heard Allison. Alice wanted to speak, but her work is stuck on the throat, "How... How does he know my real name?" she questioning her thought as she remember the time she shorten her name.

Alice heard Merril and Milly as she look at them, then look away to hide her embarrassment. Assassin notice this and remember something, "Wait the minute, if I remember correctly from her father. Alice, is your real name Alli-" Alice sense this coming as she quickly spill it, "Alright! Alright! You got me, my real name is Allison Nazumi, the reason I shorten my name into Alice because I kept bugging my brothers to read Alice in Wonderland with me, which they kept calling me that, which I prefer," she sheepishly told them. The assassin blinked and look at Alice, "Okay, but Alice... did something happen back in Japan, when I told you about Black Shadow heading to Japan," he ask her to make sure she have a connection with Black Shadow. Alice honestly thought of it, "No, I didn't get any clue about this."
