I took off my shoes, and took out my purple slippers and I smiled, "Wow. It's HUGE."

I could only stare in awe at how big our new friend's house is. I also took off my shoes and switched to my other purple slippers.

I laughed a bit nervously. If they thought that this was huge they should have seen my previous home. At the thought of my previous home my mind shifted to my father. I quickly became sad but then I smiled remembering that I had guests.

I sat down on the couch, while taking my violin case with me. I opened up my violin case, and I got my violin and bow out as well.
That's when I leaned on the headrest, and I began playing a couple relaxing notes.
(Shinichi)
I joined Akira, and got my flue case out of my bag. I opened it, and assembled my flute, and I too played a couple of relaxing notes.

I sat down in one of the chairs across from them watching the two. I heard Michiru-mama come out from the kitchen. I glanced over my shoulder and looked at her before I turned to look back at the boys.

As I played, I thought, 'Hota-chan sure is living the good life.'
Then, the voice inside me spoke up. He said,
I answered, 'But... That would mean...'
The voice answered,
I answered, 'Yes, we must. Perhaps defeating some of the darkness' lower minions will give us a clue.'

I sat watching them play. Needless to say I was impressed with their skill and looked over at Michiru-mama as she sat down in another free chair. Not surprisingly our house had a lot of chairs. Part of it was because we generally had quite a few people over and the other part was for when I was younger. I smiled as I listened to the soothing music.

I continued to play my violin, and I felt myself relax just a bit, but I wasn't totally relaxed. I was worried about the looming darkness. I wondered silently in my mind, 'I wonder if my power can defeat them?'

I watched them and then looked over as Michiru-mama walked back into the kitchen. Probably to get the cookies she had been frantic about. I looked back at Akira and Shinichi then smiled. They really were very good.

I smiled. "Both Michiru-mama and I have enjoyed hearing you play." I said. Even though she had not made any indication that she had enjoyed it I knew Michiru-mama well enough to say that's how she felt.

I motioned Shinichi to stop playing, and he did it as well.
I smiled, "Thanks. Though I still remain adamant about my own observation on my own skil. Maybe a couple more years, and then I may just be able to live up to the claim of my dean."

I laughed a little. "Perhaps you can match Michiru-mama." I said with a small smile. I glanced back at the kitchen then at Akira and Shinichi again. "Setsuna-mama should be home soon. But I'm not sure when Haruka-papa will be." I told them.

I giggled a bit as Michiru-mama brought out cookies. They looked familiar then I realized how I knew them. "Michiru-mama are those the cookies I made?" I asked nervously. No one had ever eaten my cookies before and I was scared how they would turn out. After all, they were my secret receipe.
(Michiru)
I smiled and nodded. "Of course they are Hotaru." I said as I set them down on the table between the kids. "If you'll excuse me. I have business to deal with." I smiled and left the room.

That's when I quietly asked, "Okay, Kira-kun. What's bothering you?"

I sighed silently, "Too many strange things going on."
(Shinichi)
I said, "I know that. But what else?"
(Akira)
I sighed, "I... I can't tell you Shinichi. Not yet. But you and the rest of my friends will help me in an ardous task. Just know that I'll be calling on your help sometime in the future."
(Shinichi)
I raised an eybrow. I asked, "Ardous?"
(Akira)
I slowly nodded.
