"Then something bad must've happened," Laren murmured softly as his fist clenched tightly until his knuckles started turning white. "Something that would've made me a lot pissier than usual..." His bright blue eyes turned into a light red color only to change back into their bright blue color and his hand fell loosely by his side. He gave a small smile towards her as he felt Len warning him to stay calm and not go into the wine cellar.

Rachel frowned softly, her eyes filled with worry. "I'm sorry.. I'm not meanig to upset you.." she whispered softly, looking down at her lap, where she had replaced her hands and was now fidgeting with a small paper, which she tucked into her pocket.

Rachel jumped slightly at his question. "Huh? What paper? Oh.. It's nothing.." she said, blushing lightly, and looking up at him.

Rachel frowned and reluctantly handed him the small paper, biting her lip as she watched his face. "It's.. Another sketch of you.. But this time with me.. It was just a little doodle." she said softly, shrugging slightly.

Laren blew a hair out of his face as he began studying the sketch only to let out a soft chuckle. He handed the 'doodle' back over to Rachel with a smile on his face. "It's pretty. You shouldn't hide things like that. It's really wonderful that you're very artistic."

Rachel blushed lightly, slipping the doodle back into her pocket. "Thanks.." she said in her sweet way, giving him a soft dmile.

"Just stating fact," Laren hummed softly before downing the water left over in his glass quickly. He was starting to feel the urge to go inside the house and pull out a wine bottle. He bit his lip as he felt his eyes shifting only for the motion to stop. Apparently she would become scared if he drank and showed his true nature. He winced slightly at the thought of scaring her.

Rachel looked back up at the Moon, the light smile still planted upon her lips. "I'm Glad That you didn't reject me.." she whispered softly, her gaze not meeting his, in truth, that was probably what she was afraid of the most, him rejecting her feelings for him.

Even though the memory was so wonderful it made her sad. "It's better to try a relationship before just outright saying no," Laren replied returning to a sweet smile albeit a false one. The urge to go grab a wine bottle was tugging at his nerves.
Mirror glanced down and wiped the tears from her face. "I'm sorry if I woke you to be so upset... My mother used to sing that to me so I just felt like singing it..."
