••gαвяιєℓ кιиgѕтσи•• >>..Old Boreas and the sun, one day Espied a traveller on his way, Whose dress did happily provide Against whatever might betide...>> »Gabe walked slowly up to the Armory. Kevin was close behind him, so he hoped that would improve the chances of a conversation to start up and not end in an argument. He scratched his chin, which was starting to grow a little bit of stubble. Peach-fuzz, as it was called. Sure enough, he was starting to take after his father. With his large black beard ever present on his face, Gabe had a hard time thinking that he would never grow facial hair at all. It was surprisingly dark hair for his natural hair color being blonde, so he had hoped it wouldn't be visible, but this wasn't the case. He took a few scratches and then came up to the door of the Armory. He could already feel the immense heat and fire eminating from the forge and out the door. Even being near the Armory made him sweat a little, so he whipped up some of the winds from the north and tried to cool himself off before he entered.
With a few knocks on the door, he called out to anyone who was inside, but instinctively called for Lyra. "Hey, Lyra, its Gabe. Kevin is here with me. Mind if we come in?" he asked, pausing for a moment as he stopped. He didn't have as much trouble with his ADHD acting up, so standing still for a few minutes didn't bother him as much as it did the others at camp. However, he did still have it, so while he waited, he fidgeted with his fingers and brought up some small swirls of wind around him, almost out of boredom.

xxxxxxxxxx✗xxLxxчxxяxxɑxxJxxɵxxηxxεxxsxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx✗xxÐɑυɢʜтεяxxxxxѲғxxxxxҺερʜɑεsтυsI am in the armory, doing what I do bestShe soon continued to work. Even if her mind wasn’t at ease, and she couldn’t find herself into really concentrating, she had to do something. She couldn’t leave the armory in relation to the fact that the two men she was not wanting to see would be close, but also to the fact that the armory as a place for her to relax. The Hephaestus cabin had Natalia, who could obviously see that there was some socializing issues going on with her. She pounded her mallet down for a final time, and then took off her gloves, sat down, and started to carve. This time, the design was of Ariadne. The daughter of the demi-god and king of Crete, Minos, she was able to see through Mist. And with that ability, she saw the monster her mother Pasiphae gave birth to. Although her sister couldn’t see, the demi-god king grew angry upon the arrival of the Minotaur. She sketched of how she laid her eyes upon the great hero, Theseus, and instantly fell for him. But once she knew that he was a sacrifice to the half-man half-bull, she swore to save him. She rushed to Daedalus, and asked for some help. He handed her a spool of thread that could lead Theseus through the maze, and bring him back out. She handed her love the spool, and they were planned to wed upon their arrival at Theseus’ home. When they were sailing back, unfortunately, he left her on the island of Naxos. Where a camper was waiting, if you called him that. Mr. D swooned her, and had children with Ariadne, before they wed. Unfortunately Theseus didn’t have the same turnout with Ariadne’s sister.
After carving the most important pieces of the princess’ life, she placed the shield down, where it transformed into a grape. Well, it was a metal grape, and would give a surprise to the person if they tried to eat it. She sighed, and rolled it back and forth and back and forth on the wooden bench. She was indeed quite bored. Her eyes went down to mere slits, and she rested her head on her arms, which she had placed on the bench. She looked around, hoping for nobody, and allowed sleep to come forth. As she dreamed, she found herself in a room. This was obviously a myth, for the architecture of the home and how poorly it was set up, she knew it must have been close to Ancient Greece. Though, it was quite elegant. A palace, she concluded. She walked around for awhile, until a small whimper, a cry, ran through the castle. She instantly turned around, and started to run towards the sound. In a room, a woman and a baby sat near a blazing fire. Words in Ancient Greek spoke about Hestia. It was a home. The hearth in each home was not able to be burnt out. Lyra knew that. She drew her attention to the woman. She looked fragile, beat and cold, even if she had been well fed and was near a toasty flame. In her arms, she carried a small boy. It was a small baby, with hair on the top of his head. He didn’t squirm or cry in the woman’s grasp, which amazed her. Lyra guessed the fragile woman was the boy’s mother. Yet, her dream world told her she was wrong.
The baby awoke, two crystal eyes staring up at the woman. It was obvious she was invisible to the two. The woman smiled, showing her glorious teeth. Even if she seemed worn, this woman had some organic beauty to her. Something that would have made gods like Lyra’s father, Hephaestus, or even Poseidon, to adore. She seemed to know how to get care of the baby, and the small boy seemed so harmless in the arms of the woman. And yet, she knew something was wrong. The woman started to hum to the boy, a lyric she was unable to understand. The woman swept her hand, and a bowl of a glossy cream colored liquid appeared. Instantly she knew that the woman was a goddess. Yet, what was she doing with the nectar? The woman unwrapped the baby’s blanket. “This is the final night, Demophoon. Tonight, you will join me.”the woman said softly to the child. With her eyes still on the child, she dipped two fingers into the nectar, making some drip. She brought it to the baby, who had finally began to squirm. She started to lather the boy’s skin, making it shine. She stood up, making a creak in the floorboards, once she was done. She did not dare to clothe the boy once more. She walked closer to the fire. Lyra knew she wouldn’t be able to burn, but the baby was surely mortal. And with that, the goddess dropped the baby into the flames…
She awoke with a start, as words passed through the door. Her head ached, but yet she was able to understand what was being said. The first name, Gabe. Oh, it was Gabe. She sighed, and tried to stand up. Her legs felt wobbly, as if they were expecting some more sleep. Her head was pounding as it tried to rearrange itself. Which was quite hard, being as her head was already messed up in the first place. She sat back down on the bench, which made her leg throw out less pain. She rubbed her eyes, eliminating enough sleep from her eyes as possible. She groaned, and stretched her arms. Hypnos was weird when choosing times to wake her up. Kevin, coming from Gabe, was with him. Why did they both have to come? She sighed, and with barely enough voice, whispered that they could come in. Unfortunately from the ruckus of the armory, it’d be impossible for them to hear. Lyra didn’t feel like standing up, though. She put her hands onto her quads, and tried to speak. “Come in.”she said."Sing, clear-voiced Mousa, of Hephaistos famed for inventions (klytometis). With bright-eyed Athene he taught men glorious crafts throughout the world,--men who before used to dwell caves in the mountains like wild beasts. But now that they have learned crafts through Hephaistos the famed worker (klytotekhnes), easily they live a peaceful life in their own houses the whole year round. Be gracious, Hephaistos, and grant me success and prosperity!

Kevin raised an eyebrow. "Hrm...this isn't lookin' like such a good time, in all honesty." He admitted, feeling the awkwardness of the current situation. He yawned. He yawned a lot, not necessarily because he was tired, but because he was bored, and the boredom made him feel drowsy. He felt as though it would be better for both him and Lyra, to allow either Gabe or himself to talk to her, but not both. Having both there seemed sort of as though it would be overbearing, seeing as there were things Kevin wanted to talk to her about that would be weird around Gabe, and he knew the same was true vice versa.
He frowned slightly, shaking his head to the side quickly, throwing some of his black hair out of his eyes. "Yea...is this a bad time? Cuz' if it is, I can always come talk to you later, if you want." He said, wanting to say that Gabe should leave if the presence of both he and Gabe was the problem, but at the same time not wanting to sound rude.

xxxxxxxxxx✗xxLxxчxxяxxɑxxJxxɵxxηxxεxxsxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx✗xxÐɑυɢʜтεяxxxxxѲғxxxxxҺερʜɑεsтυsI am in the armory, doing what I do bestAs they walked in, a wave of weakness rushed over her. Maybe it was because she saw two boys that she loved in front of her, or maybe it was the intense heat of the armory. Whatever it was, she was starting to feel nauseous. Still, with her awesome acting skills, fought it off, and stood up. She was unsure of what to believe. Well, she was happy for one thing. The two were obviously not fighting. They seemed really okay, even, as if they had cleared the whole thing up. Then why did they come to her, then? Perhaps it was because she had stormed out of the Zeus cabin in a fit of rage. Inside her mind she shrugged, it was her body, she could do whatever she wanted. She could think whatever she wanted to think. I can love whoever I want to love...her mind told herself, which made her wobble slightly as she stood. It was obvious she didn't look well, but she could take a fake look for now. For the two boys in front of her.
"No, it's okay. I just woke up, is all."she admitted. After saying that, she instantly felt better. She put on a smile as she lifted her mallet. "If you get used to the constant heat, it's actually a really good place to sleep, sometimes."she told them with a soft chuckle. It was starting to get very awkward, and her body told her to get to the point. Why were they here? What did they want? She grabbed her hammer to calm the tension that grew in the room. She stuttered out a few "ums", before turning around, and staring out the window. It was getting a cold, crisp feeling of May outside. She sighed, and sunk down on the bench. Lyra looked up, staring at the worried faced of the two boys she loved. Although, which one did she prefer? She wasn't like Paris, she wouldn't be able to find the true winner.
"Okay, this has become weird enough. A reason why you guys are here?"she asked them."Sing, clear-voiced Mousa, of Hephaistos famed for inventions (klytometis). ••gαвяιєℓ кιиgѕтσи•• >>..Old Boreas and the sun, one day Espied a traveller on his way, Whose dress did happily provide Against whatever might betide...>> »"Oh, right. Sorry." Gabe apologized. He had gotten his mind sidetracked for a few moments and had almost completely forgotten what he was going to say. He leaned up against a bench and looked around the Armory. It was almost the same as when Lyra took him on the tour. The armors, the weapons, the Armory Rules. They were all there. He made a slight smirk and then scratched the back of his head. He knew he was probably getting Lyra and Kevin uncomfortable, so he just wanted to point out the obvious, much like he was known for, and then be on his way.
"Well, in case you haven't already figured out, me and Kevin managed to resolve our conflict." he finally blurted out. He turned to Kevin and make a smirk then looked back to Lyra. "I just wanted to stop by and let you know that. Also, you were there when Adonia was going on about her dream. Do you have any idea what it means?" he asked her, leaning in forward from the bench. He was still thinking about it, always in the back of his head, but he just wanted to get some small information from wherever he could. He also wanted to avoid asking Lyra why she had stormed off after he had maneuvered around her to get to Adonia. He figured that it would be best to ask her in private without Kevin being around, and that asking her now would be a bad decision in general. He made a few small scratches at his neck and face as well. The hair that was beginning to grow it was irritating him, so scratching it obviously made the irritation recede slightly.

xxxxxxxxxx✗xxLxxчxxяxxɑxxJxxɵxxηxxεxxsxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx✗xxÐɑυɢʜтεяxxxxxѲғxxxxxҺερʜɑεsтυsI am in the armory, doing what I do bestOf course. She sighed, and brushed a strand of hair from her face. A habit she couldn’t stop doing, it seemed. Lyra felt slightly betrayed, or ignored. “Our conflict is over with. Now, have any information?” That’s what Gabe was pretty much asking her. Was she feeling used? She grunted slightly, and stood up. It felt wobbly, standing up, but the sleep from her eyes had been taken out. Just by taking a step into the armory, Gabe had let in a bit of welcoming cool. If you could say the hatred of Boreas was welcoming. She sighed, and shot a look at Kevin. What did he think of all this, anyways? Or had he not been informed? She guessed that it was true that Adonia wouldn’t necessarily care about if he really cared. Their relationship wasn’t as positive as the others at camp. Yet, Kevin just seemed to stand there. As if a little trophy. “Here’s you’re gift, now what do you know?” she thought, the voice of Gabe echoing through her mind. Unbelievable.
“Nothing, really. Just thinking of what to do for my new weapon. The idea of a theft just makes me think of Hermes pulling a prank on the gods, Gabriel. Nothing more, nothing less. He’s been bored lately, even if he’s constantly needed. On his free-time, he will steal. Nothing new.”she informed him. That was all she knew. All she wanted to know. She didn’t feel as if she was necessarily important, or as if she was the Oracle, being asked for all the questions. Of how Gabe was sitting, leaning closer and closer to her, it seemed as if he was interrogating her. It didn’t make her feel uncomfortable at all. Just annoyed. Her eyes, though she was unable to feel it, were small flickers of sparks, that came up and down. “And if you are so interested about it, you could have left after you’re previous sentence. I would have been perfectly fine. Hephaestus children work better alone, anyways.”she told him, slight attitude in her voice. She was still wearing her rough gloves. She held them up to Gabe, to show that she was indeed thinking of what to do for a weapon."Sing, clear-voiced Mousa, of Hephaistos famed for inventions (klytometis). "Yea...Adonia is always going on about something. She's a very...dramatic person." He said, veering slightly off topic. "It's very likely nothing at all, and she's just blowing it up, whether for attention, or because she's bored, or for attention." He said, purposely saying it twice. It definitely wouldn't be the first time she had done something like that.
He turned towards Gabe. He raised an eyebrow. Did he come here to tell her that we resolved the conflict? Or did he just say that to get her attention to bring up this little, project in the making? He thought to himself. He was leaning towards the idea of coming back to talk to Lyra later, since this, as he mentioned before, was getting more and more tense by the second.
"I'm sure whatever Gabe wants to discuss with you is...super important, so...I guess I'll leave you two to discuss this little project that Adonia had started, seeing as what I came to do is at this point, not going to happen right now anyways." He said, taking a slight step backwards towards the door.

" This could be fun" Isabella chuckled as she entered the armory. She began by entering the back room gathering several types of metal she didn't reconize but looked similar to matal she use to work with. As she gathered tools she walked to a work bench unsheathing her swords setting them out so she could see the damages the sword had brought to them on impact.
Her first objective was melting metals together and cooling them into two bars. When she was done they almost glowed in her opinion, so she began to use a mallet to bang the metal bars into a form similar. When Isabella was done she tryed using the wepon's running through a few moves relizing they were useless.
At her lack of ability she relized she needed major help so she gathered the materials and went to find someone here better then her at sword smithing.

As she walked up to the girl talking to the two boys, Isabella held her temper and asked something she normally wouldn't of. " Um, excuse me I heard around camp you were the best person to talk to about forging and smithing wepons. I have these blue prints for the way my swords are suppose to be but, I can't get it right. Could you help me? " Isabella asked aginst her better judgment. Finally admitting there was something she wasn't good at.

Gabe replied as he leaned back against the bench. He rubbed the back of his neck and stood up, facing towards Kevin and the door. He made a slight nod and then turned towards Lyra.
"Alright, if that's what you really think, I'll take it into consideration. Anything can help me right now." he added, thanking Lyra in a sort of round-about way. He then turned towards the door and walked over, gripping up the handle to the door. "I'll just be on my way then, and leave you two to...catch up." He smiled and then left the Armory. As he closed the door behind him he sighed and scratched the back of his head.Well, that got me absolutely no where. Why in the world would Lyra even think that Hermes would do such a thing? I mean, it does make sense, but if it was just a prank, why would a half-blood have a dream about it? He thought to himself. He simply shook his head, unable to think of a possible explanation, and then left for the Arena. Maybe some training will help me focus...or something...

She knew by how she stood and how she acted around metals that she was a Minor child. It wasn't supposed to be a bad thing at all, she knew many people that were Minor. Soon Gabe left, manly in disgust. She rolled her eyes slightly at him, raised a 'one minute' finger at Kevin, to turn to the girl. "One, I'm not the best to talk to. I'm anti-social. I don't necessarily like to be around someone for a few minutes because of my isolation attitudes. Yes, I'm a good blacksmith at this camp, but I rarely share my secrets. They're secrets, remember?"she said. Well, she did give some excuses when it came to being a daughter of Hephaestus, like Natalia, but either than that she didn't like it. " I'm not asking so much for you to show me your secerts." Isabella almost begged as she continued " I know its pathetic but I just can't get the balence right. One way their light enough but to weak , the other there strong enough but to heavy for me to fight properly. Besides you can never ask a truely talented sword smith to reveal her secerts." Isabella complemented. " All I'm needing is to get them strong enough so a certain child of Ares can't break them again, but not so heavy they slow me down. " Isabella finished setting the broken remains of her watabashi's down and then giving Kevin a look of disgust.
