Koko looked around for a moment before lifting herself to her feet. Her leg was still playing up a bit, but she managed to limp over to Zed. She smiled sadly,
"Not sure what you're gunna make of this, but I gotta know something for myself...."
Slowly taking the pilot's helmet off, the mercenary spun his chair to face her. She took his chin in one hand & tilted his head up slightly, looking down into his eyes.
"Remember what you said earlier? I hope you weren't lying...."
Leaning down & closing her eyes, she gently kissed him on the lips, briefly wondering what his reaction would be.

Zed kissed back, then fell back into his chair.
"That was... pretty awesome... And no, i wasn't lying"
He smiled and looked back up at Koko.

Koko ran a hand through her hair & smiled more broadly, her mood having brightened considerably. She leant against the control panel, being careful not to press anything.
"It was pretty awesome, I kinda wanna do it again...."
She smirked & looked out of the window.

Zed attempted to get out of his chair, but it was far too comfortable, so he didn't move.

Koko raised an eyebrow when Zed didn't get up from his chair, then rolled her eyes.
"You lazy sod."
She smirked & leant down in front of him,
"Maybe I just won't try to kiss you, ever think of that? You should get me!"
Laughing, she stood up straighter again, looking down at her leg momentarily before glancing back out of the window.

"I'll just wait for the right moment..."
Zed laughed then put his helmet back on.
"anyways, we've got a lot to see here..."
Zed pressed a few more buttons on the main panel then waited for Koko to take her seat.

Koko tilted her head before limping back to her seat.
Right moment huh...? We'll see.
She smirked to herself before slouching back into her chair & turning towards the wondow to see where they went next.

Zed boosted the Aiolos up to speed once again, stopping moments later at the drifting sleeper-ship 'Hydra'.
"Here's that sleeper ship I saw... The Hydra... it was the first sleeper ship to launch... odd how it's behind the Ares... it's currently listed as missing..."
Zed jabbed at some buttons and a scan of the huge ship had started.

Koko looked out at the sleeper ship, a chill running up her spine. There was something eerie about it, like something was wrong on the craft. Everyone would still be in incubation, she knew that, but even so.... there was just something not right on that ship. Shivering slightly, she wrapped her arms round herself; a deeply hidden instinct seemed to be telling her to get away from the sleeper ship, though she wasn't sure why.

Zed looked over the monitors at the sleeper ship then back down at the main monitor, on which the scan had completed.
"Damn, that ship's sleeping alright... heat readings seem a little glitchy... looks pretty untouched too... not a single impact on the hull... That's impossible..."

Koko stood up suddenly - as though she'd been hit by a bolt of electricity - & stared out of the window at the sleeper ship. There was a strange niggling sensation in the back of her head, like a presence. Shaking her head a little she spoke with no emotion in her voice.
"There's something there."

Zed flew the Aiolos toward the sleeper ship, landing on the side that was in the shade.
"Okay, lets get some rest while the Aiolos tries to access the Hydra's computer systems...this could take a while"

Koko didn't shift her position & continued to stare out of the window. After what seemed like an age she turned her head slowly towards Zed, her eyes a little strange & her voice still devoid of emotion.
"We go as soon as it's done."
Abruptly, she turned & left the room. When she walked, there wasn't even the slightest hint of a limp in her gait.

Zed watched the monitors, looking over the scan of the Hydra.
Something's wrong here...
He looked closely at the scans, noticing clusters of tiny blips all over the ship.

Koko put a hand on her forehead, grunting slightly. There was a strange jabbing in the back of her skull & the further she got from the cockpit the worse it got. She headed for the crew's quarters & sat down on one of the beds, shaking her head. The weird sensation began to fade,
"That was odd...."
