Hello all. I am Princess Raistlin. I am a 36 yera old mother of 4 with a deep freak side drawing me into the world of vampires. I did not come into the Buffy realm until probably third season and mostly remember Wesley. I ran across Buffy during the course of my newsgroups days and decided to see what all the fuss was about. After that, well I was hooked. I watched every episode I could as many times as I could. I kept Excel spreadsheets to track what I had seen and once I got that far, started from the beginning while still watching episodes on TV.
I am torn between Angel and Spike and wouldn't mind being in Buffy's position. I think that the series was cut too short and miss getting the chance to watch it every afternoon because FX doesn't play it in the afternoon where I am at anymore. I have been slowing collecting the DVD's and even got my kids in the Buffy bug. My young uns will go outside at night and take turns slaying. It's great to have something to bond over.
I can't wait to get to know you all and share in this world.

Hi everyone!
I'm new here to Gaia, and was happy to see there was a Buffyverse guild! I own every season of Buffy except 2 and 4. Didn't start watching it until after it was cancelled but was addicted. I was very sad when I got to the end. I'm 21 years old and I live in Baltimore. biggrin

Hiya, I'm Eloise, I'm 14 and from England. I'm a massive fan of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel. I used to watch Buffy alot when I was younger and a few months ago, when we got sky, I began watching alot of both the shows. I've seen most episodes of Buffy and quite a few of Angel. What else can I say? =)

I'm Rachel, 17 years young. I live in a suburb of Chi-town. I also love Buffy uber much. I'm not that much of a fan of Angel, becuase I only got into it in the later seasons, when Spike was on it. I started watching from the beginning, but obviously as a little kid, I didn't always understand it, and now, watching the DVD's I do. I'm into the unknown darkish stuff. Fantasys cool that way, and so I love vampires the most out of all. I'm glad your moderators accepted me. Yeah, Go Sunnydale!

OMG, a buffy intros, hi im george from england, got into buffy from my amigo Katie(Anna Mnemi, or sommin (?) seen all seasons of buffy and seasons 1-4 of angel, all are good, but i prefer angel as he is more batmanesque than buffy, who's kinda superwomany, oh, and im from england

My name is Mildmanerdartist or RAPsody (artist nom de plume, as it were) but of course most know me as Ruth or-- Ruthie (but only family and close friends, and anyone that knows my sister or my husband stare )
I saw the film BtVS and thought it was most hilarious (besides the fact that at the time I had a huge crush on Luke Perry ^_^ and Paul Reubens was so great- "best dying scene ever")
When I heard there was going to be a tv series I thought 'hmm- ok'. I didn't know Joss Whedon from Adam (ok, just for the record I'm not THAT old-- yanno that I'd know, Adam, yeah. stare )
DON'T LYNCH ME-- I really didn't like SMG. I thought she was not perky or ridiculous enough for the role. So, really, I didn't watch the show at first. (plus I am pretty sure it was airing opposite some other show that I wanted to watch more-- that happens to me a lot) It really wasn't until Spike came on the scene that I started to really take notice. I heart Spike -- and Dru. What a freak she is, but so utterly entertaining. They were the perfect pair.
So of course once they started to air repeats I got myself caught up. At that point I became friends with a major fan ^_^ He was watching it in Dundee Scotland (hi, Baz!) and they were behind a bit. So I had to be careful what we shared about the series. ^_^
Anyway-- Love love loved ANGEL when it spun off. Love love love Joss Whedon (though my all time fave project of his is FIREFLY- I still get such a kick that so much of that cast had been in Buffy or Angel at some time or 'nother LOL)
Doyle was my fave character on ANGEL-- so I was so upset when he was written out with a big death scene. But I was so not in the know about the behind the scenes circumstances (RiP: Glenn Quinn)
I think I have said enough-- I don't own the series but I rent them on occasion. I watched ANGEL faithfully and never missed an episode (my favorite is SMILE TIME) I have a couple of Buffy episodes to catch up on still (towards the end I missed a lot due to not being home those nights and not having a way to record them)
Btw, I totally loved the whole angsty thing between Buffy and Spike.
And I really adored Connor ^_^ -eh aw heckmouth! I loved so much about both series. biggrin
I'm so glad to be in this guild-- weeeeeeeeeeeee! heart
