"how did she get the pod to work?" Adam asked.
"i don't know." Jim replied.
"but its not working vary well. its airbags aren't working. i had to take them out and drape them in the bathroom."
"so the screwed?" Adam asked. Jim glanced at the airlock.
"your going to want this." he opened a cabinet on the wall to the left of him and pulled out a small glass calender. its contents was some blue, brightly glowing liquid substance. (i think a time lord can feel the enormous amount of energy it gives off) Jim inserted it into Adam's pack, then Adam entered the airlock and threw himself into space and to the escape pod bellow.
"im entering the atmosphere... now!" His voice was heard from a computer.

In the escape pod, sumer's eyes widened and he sat up. "The airbags should have gone off by now... this isn't good. We're going to have to put on the manual brakes..." He looked down and chuckled lightly. "Being immortal has it's ups and downs. Upside: you can go on kamikaze missions as often as you need to. Downside: it really hurts. He reached up and opened the escape hatch. "Kat, no matter what, don't get upset. You'll panic. Number two: hold on.. I think this is gonna get bumpy.. Really bumpy." He climbed up onto the surface of the escape pod and cringed. HIs body was beginning to heat up again. "Gotta make this quick... All the water in my body is going to evaporate at this rate and I'll be no good to anyone..." He looked up and saw something shoot out of the neon ship. "Hope that's help..." He turned his attention to his task at hand. He painstakingly opened his wings and angled them to slow down the small pod. The bones began to fracture and heal at the same time, putting him in a state of constant flux... not good for him. The bone in his left wing began to bend back, and then snapped back in the wind like a tree in a windstorm. Sumer screamed in pain as he tried to pull in his other wing, but it was too late. The ship had only slowed a little and was now spinning into a death spiral. "More than an expression..." he silently hoped that some miracle would happen that would save Kat.. It was his fault they were in this situation..

Sumer couldn't speak, his scales were running freely down like water, and his wings were burning away from the heat of the atmosphere. Well, his WING to be exact... the one that had snapped had been burned off. it was hard to see him at all, in his attempt to stop the death spin, he had move to the front of the ship and used his other wing to cause an opposite affect... the spinning had slowed a bit before adam got there. small drops of silver began to rain on his helmet.

The pod landed with a jolt on the ground, slowed to a safe speed by Adam's intervention. The sickening crunch was the reply to Kat's question. Sumer was unfortunately on the side that the ship landed on...

Under the ship, sumer's body was slowly reconstituting itself. He slowly began to crawl out, looking almost zombie-like as he tried to crawl out from under the ship with a half-formed body. He looked up and saw the ship plummetting from the sky. "Oh, no..." his mind began to race with ideas. He looked around him and saw: they had landed right in the middle of the forests of Barcelona. He smiled. He was a forest guardian in a planet essentially made out of a giant forest.. "Show me what you've got, barcelona..." his eyes began to glow green again, sending a forest-wide SOS signal.. He would need as much help from the local wildlife as he could get if he wanted to stop that ship from crashing.

"but.. first things first." he turned to adam and inhaled deeply. A little known fact about dragons: they do not actually breathe fire. They exercise weak elemental control. The flames jumped up into the air and flew into his lungs, where it was absorbed into his system. The eco-infused fire sped up his healing process and restored him to full health. Sumer looked down at his reformed body and smiled even wider. "Now, then.. That's more like it!"

He walked over to adam's body and found a way to take off the helmet. He placed his hand on adam's head and reeled as the damage from Adam's body flowed into him and he recieved the head trauma instead. It would be easy to recover, he had done it a thousand times. After a few minutes, he stood up again, gripping his head.

"Ooooohhhh I hate healing concussions... It give me a hangover..." he gently but urgently shook adam awake. "Wakey, wakey, pal! I need a LOTTA HELP!!"

all around them, the alien creatures of barcelona were gathering around them, responding to Sumer's telepathic cry for help.

"Wakey, wakey, pal! I need a LOTTA HELP!!" a voice entered Adam's subconscious.
"wha..." the gears in his head started to click again. (figure of speech)
the first thing Adam started to notice was that he was breathing real air instead of pure oxygen now, witch meant his mask or his hole helmet was off. he opened his eyes and looked around.
"what the?!" he looked around at all the creatures surrounding them.

Sumer looked away from the embrace, feeling as though his actions to try and stop the pod had gone unnoticed by everyone.. He turned to adam. "never mind.. I thought that ship was going to crash... but it looks as though the doctor managed to land it..." he did a double take as he noticed the heat from the ship had set a few trees on fire. He sighed and looked around. "Sorry guys.. I didn't mean to call you out for nothing.." he reached out his hand and the fire spiraled into his palm and disappeared. "That ship seemed as though it was going to crash and set about two miles of forest on fire, but the doctor had it under control. I'm just the fire extinguisher today..." He got a few dirty looks from the animals, who walked away. "Great... Some forest guardian... I wasn't any help." He rubbed his wing, which he felt had been burned from his body for no reason and then grown back again. Something hit the ground next to him. HE looked over and realized as he picked it up: it was his wing. Burned to a crisp with bone exposed and blackened. He rolled his eyes and tossed it to the side.
