Saiya continued her blush, due to the proximity of Takashi and herself. It sounds kinda odd, but Saiya mentally stuttered. "I ummm..." Before she could add anything else to make her seem incompetent, Saiya paused, and reconstructed her sentence, which consisted of one word. "Yes When he backed off, she noticed the odd moment, and blinked a few times to jog her brain. Why was she here again? Oh yeah. "Daichi-sama is going to be coming sometime tonight, and he is going to show me a few more techniques that I have yet to learn." Why was it that Takashi was the only one who was able to make her mentally stutter. She felt another mind enter her range, feeling something calm and pensive. She didn't know who it was, but tried to let the feelings of this peace wash over her.

[Wow, it`s weird how Takashi is more focused about how you being assaulted affects him. (He was more concerned about making a fool of himself by throwing the dude than Saiyuri`s well being, and worried that his woman might be taken away from him instead of what would have happened to her. Besides, what if she had internal or mental injuries she was hiding? Example from someone I know: put a bar of soap in a sock, and tie it shut at the top of the bar. You swing the bar and hit someone with it, and it only causes internal damage. No bruising of the skin happens, unless you hit a surface bone. So, you could turn someone`s intestines black and blue, and they wouldn`t be able to prove anything without external bruising or witnesses.]
Daichi arrived at the training area, and took a seat somewhere nearby Saiyuri. He popped open his food and began eating, since it was obvious she was in a conversation. It was also evident she was being flustered by his comments, and that she had more than basic feelings for him. *Sigh* I told her to go clear her mind, and this`s what happenes. He ate in silence and waited for her to finish her business so they could finish her training.

Mattei Tenson| Secret Rogue| Rinnegan



Mattei's growing control over chakra allowed him to perform simple ninjutsu such as Fukumen with ease. By clapping his hands and directing chakra between each palms, Mattei was able to create a brief flare of heat. This flare was hot enough to produce an intense burst of light that blinded virtually anyone who looked onto it.

"Katon: Fukumen no Jutsu"

A loud clap drew his opponents head to the side where a hot flash of light sent her reeling away in a wide circle. The technique was relatively simple and rather harmless, nothing more than a prank. However even though it was an Academy ranked technique Mattei managed to blind his opponent in time to dash forward and deliver a solid roundhouse to the girls cheek. Seyumi, a fellow Chuunin, friend, and his current sparring partner, rolled with the blow allowing her to evade most of the damage as he vision cleared. ["Katon: Fukumen no Jutsu" Learned]

"That's enough for today Mattei, I have gate duty coming up. And then I have to deal with Jin afterwards!" exclaimed the cheery silver-haired girl. Without another word she performed the Shunshin technique and faded out of sight. Mattei rubbed his sore shoulders were Seyumi broke her bokken on his arms and then tenderly massaged his abdomen where she delivered a particularly brutal kick. Training against a Taijutsu specialist was always draining but he promised he would learn a few Fire techniques before the day ended.

First he needed to perform the basic flame resistance technique, just to protect his body from the heat generated by the Fire jutsu. It was a simple process of bodily reinforcement though the use of strategic Shape Manipulation in order to create a barrier against high temperatures. Mattei improvised the technique by slightly altering the nature of his chakra until it vaguely resembled the basics of a Suiton technique, granting him added resistance against the backlash of the techniques he would perform. Mattei's wasn't interested in learning the basic Genin level techniques, very few offered any real bonus and many were simply watered down version of higher level techniques. The Fire Style technique he had in mind was a particularly common and famous Chuunin level ninjutsu. The intense heat and power from Katon Ryuuka no Jutsu (Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique) was able to turn solid stone molten and tear through cliffs once performed at a high level. [1/3]

As a direct descendent of the Rokudo Sennin and inheritor of his venerable Doujutsu, Mattei was able to analyze chakra in a way far superior to the Byakugan or Sharingan. Fire style techniques were often more agressive and offensive in nature, as shown by the zodiac handseals commonly found during their performance. After watching a sparring session between two Chuunin and practicing for a few hours, the eleven year old decided he was ready to perform the technique. His hands came together swiftly, automatically falling into a pattern repeated for hours during the pass few days. As his gloved hands morphed into a blur, selective 'nodes' of chakra where stimulated through pressure and primal functions long since recorded activated a flow of chakra to Matte's lower torso. Gases and fluids within his stomach where introduced to the biological energy and instantly surged towards his throat, passing a region near his collarbone where a tongue of chakra aligned with the nature of fire turned the gas into real, tangible flames. Matte's cheeks bulged as an unrelenting pressure filled his lungs and seared his tongue. With a determined glare the eleven year old planted his feet and lifted his head skyward before allowing the flames to pass his parted lips in the shape of a regal dragons head. This head, easily surpassing the size of a horse and wagon, darted skyward with collosal jaws of fire opened wide. Filaments of hair licked it's flaming neck while an impressive set of horns pierced the sky. The only oddity of these flames were their intensity and color, burning a royal purple and managing to seem more solid than the jutsu would normally seen. It was only a testament to the strength and potential Mattei held as this dragon roared a challenge to the clouds and rammed a hole straight through the soft white blobs. The sky was briefly painted in color and the monstrous dragon, visible from the surrounding area, burst into violet flames that harmlessly dissipated into the air. ["Katon Ryuuka no Jutsu!!" Despite the depletion of chakra Mattei grinned at the spectacle proudly. Such a technique was powerful at nearly any range and earlier in the week while he was training he heard that shinobi from the Uchiha Clan were able to melt stone and metal with their mastery of Fire techniques. He scoffed at this, believing any possessor of the Rinnegan to be much stronger than any Uchiha, Sharingan or not! His face fell as he considered his own youth and inexperience, along with the certaint level of vunerability he felt when exposed to fire. Deep within sealed of corridors of his countinuosly developing mind an image of a wildfire sent phantom shivers down his spine. Regardless he decided that he would need to learn from fire style techniques until he was able to defeat a Uchiha. His expression changed at the self imposed challenge and as this happened he wasn't aware his exalted doujutsu were glowing with violet light. He was, however, aware of a flickering chakra source materializing nearby. It felt more like an imprint of chakra than an actual source of the life energy, causing Mattei to remain on guard. Mabye Seyumi had learned a new technique and merely tricked him into a false sense of security by attending guard duty. Smiling Mattei widened his stance, eager to present his newly learned jutsu to his friend as soon as possible.

"I know your there Seyumi and if don't show yourself you'll be sorry!"

There was silence until Mattei noticed a cloaked figure literally step from the shadow of the tree. The cloak he wore held a high collar and was marked with crimson clouds. A large straw hat was mounted upon his head with several lengthy tassels hanging from the edge and falling to waist level. A pale hand rose to grasp the straw hat and lift it from a head of dark orange hair. A face, marked with multiple piercings, observed him emotionlessly. The only truly shocking feature this orange haired man held, however, was a pair of Rinnegan glaring at him. Five more figures stepped from the shadows, identically dressed before discarding their straw hats and revealing the same features. Orange, multiple piercings and...A pair of wise Rinnegan peering casually at him.

Mattei's legs wobbled as an intense cold washed over his body and his eyes widened in rage and disbelief. His individuality had been stolen, he realized, as these six figures peered at him with their...His eyes. He could feel an immense wellspring of chakra emnating from each of them and when they spoke in the same dead-pan voice he could only stare in shock.


"Seyumi?"
"No,"
"Child,"
"There,"
"Is,"
"Only,"
Us,"


And so Rikudou Pein stood before Mattei, undettered by the army of ninjas that filled the village of Konoha, the village he himself destroyed some many years ago. He was only here for Mattei and as the six embodiments of his will observed their prodigal descendent a seventh figure began to materialize. Hidden by the shadows he was impossibly to completely identify but anyone could see he wore a high collared coat with a Buddihst monks staff worn over one shoulder. In his hand he held a large katana and a horned forehead protector was worn on his head. His only completely visible feature were the soft Rinnegan peering happily at his descendents. Rokudou Sennin himself.

.:. NOTE: The last events involving Pein are simply Mattei hallucinating. He can still interact but he'll always see his ancestors around him for awhile. .:.

Mattei Tenson| Young Chuunin | Rinnegan



"Who are you," stammered Mattei as the six figures slowly slid into a single form. This time they took the form of a healthy young boy with black hair that hung well below his eyes but were unable to hide the glow of his bright Rinnegan. This young boy, no older than twelve, smiled at Mattei and indicated the fire scroll within the small clearing. Mattei eyed the older boy cautiously and slowly approached the small scroll.

"Five more fire jutsu, three more Earth jutsu," said the black haired individual in conjunction with the shady figure hidden in the shadows. The two vanished in a spectral gust of wind leaving a stunned Mattei to stare at the empty space. "W-what just happened?!" he exclaimed, unable to fully comprehend the previos events. All he understood that the boy would return once Mattei learned eight new jutsu, but what would happen then? The eleven year old fell to the ground with the scroll clenched between his hands.

His eyes rested on a couple of D ranked fire techniques but in his mind he was looking past the sheet of paper. Worry was written on his face as the chuunin pondered on the recent events. Several minutes later he focused harder onto the list of fire jutsu and released a long sigh.

He spent only a few seconds reading over the first technique, an E rank basic that allowed the user to heat their finger. Lazily Mattei lifted his right index finger and channeled a tiny trickle of chakra and watched as the cuticle took on a slightly reddish hue. "Hmph," he scoffed and deactivated the jutsu. [Katon: Ichi (Fire Release: One) Learned]

The next jutsu was only slight more challenging, requiring even more chakra to be channeled into two fingers on one hand. He watched as his chakra took on a more violent and fiery form, filling his hand with heat. [1/2]

Finally he felt the heat of his hand tickle his cheek in soft waves of thermal energy. Casually Mattei dropped his hand and poked a leaf with a curious expression, his finger easily slipped through and the same test was repeated on a wood stump, end in the exact same result. Already bored with the simplicity of the techniques Mattei moved on to the higher level Chuunin techniques. He spent a few long minutes inspect the mechanics of the technique and the handy chakra input graphs designed to make the technique easier. It was a pretty easy language to decipher when a ninja was able to sense and measure chakra, especially when it came to fire techniques. [1/3]

This next technique was well within his grasp, especially since it required acute chakra control. He was able to channel chakra towards his palm while he depressed specific tenketsu in his hand. The tenketsu released specific bursts of chakra into his body, causing his body to secrete a clear gas that instantly ignited once it came in contact with Fire Nature Chakra. A large fireball roared in his palm and painted his body in an orange glow.

"Cool," [2/3]

With a smirk Mattei hurled the fireball at a tree stump watching it wash over the tree and emit a loud bang, instantly followed by a concussive blast that launched him off his feet. Once the dust and debri cleared the flaming skeleton of the stump slowly crashed to the ground, burning out within the small crater created by the jutsu. Jipin noticed the amount of people in the training grounds. He walked over to Crono, passing Saiya and gave her a wave by flapping his hand an unnecessary amount of times. Jip looks up the tree at Crono. "So Crono, why do you have all those weasels?" He waited for Crono's response but kept his gaze on Aiden, who looked like a human pirate ship about to get sucked into the water. Jip then looked over at Takashi and barely remembered when they met.
