I'm a second year university student studying Japanese and next year I'll be studying abroad there. I'm still not great at Japanese, but if I'd be happy help anyone with their Japanese if I can.

I'm a 16 year old high school student, born of Korean and Japanese ethnicity. I was born in England though, so I don't know how to speak either language, as neither of my parents can either. < u >;

konncha, fellow guild members! smile i have learned most of my japanese from watching anime subs. its worked quite well and i know several small japanese phrases now. biggrin however, i have been greatly struggling with the pronouns. stressed i could really use some help razz

私わトリシャです。
I'm eighteen years old, a little over three months out of high school. I was in college for a bit, studying for animation, but I decided I wanted to take it slow. I've always wanted to learn the Japanese language, as well as its culture, so now that I've all this free time, I decided that now's a good time to fully delve into the subject. It'd be nice if this guild could help me a little bit. :3

Konnichiha! Nessa desu. I'm a new student at Japanese and I'm still learning katakana and kanji, but I get the basics. I don't have a huge vocabulary, since I'm currently focusing on getting simple grammar down, but I have learned a decent amount of random words from anime and j-pop. xd

Watashiwa BB desu. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu. smile I don't really have a formal training in Japanese but would love to learn this beautiful language. I have always been into anime and manga. I am also fond of their technology. I hope I will get to learn not only Japanese language and Japan's culture, but also some awesome technical terms. smile Arigatou!

Hello everyone! I'm Kurisu, nice to meet you all! I'm 27 years old and I'm American. Let's study Japanese together!
I hope I got that right, I've been studying Japanese for a few years (at a snail's pace it seems) In High School I had 2 years of basic Japanese and in college I took one year. I've been trying to study and keep in practice, I know how to read and write all hiragana and katakana, and I know at least 100 kanji by sight. I can probably correctly write about 50-60 kanji (only including numbers 1-10 lol)
I'm hoping to further my studies, I own a few programs and books, but I can't afford Rosetta Stone crying
I'll try my best to help anyone and hopefully I'll get help in return. I'm not really sure how this guild works but I'm sure I'll learn ^_~

I'm Jo. I studied Japanese for a year and a half in school, then had about a year of time where I didn't practice much at all. Mostly because I didn't have anyone to practice with, and that's my weakness - speaking. I need to be refreshing what I know and learning more pretty quickly though, so maybe I can meet some people here. I hope so. * u *

Konnichiwa~ Watashi no namae wa Ichigo Oburi desu~ heart Hajamimashite! Dozo yorishiku onigaishimasu! biggrin I'm 21 years old and I love making new friends from Japan. I'm a University student and I help teach students from Tokyo in Integrated English skills, TOEIC, and American studies. I'm not taking a Japanese language class, but I'm using my own time to teach myself and the Japanese students think I have really good pronunciation. Next quarter I'm becoming an International Peer Adviser to the new Tokyo students. Essentially, I'll be in charge of a group of 10-15 Japanese students and I'll be living with them in a dorm. Currently, I have friends in Fukuoka, Tokyo, Akashi, Kobe, Chiba, and Kyoto! I'm super friendly and I'd love to have more friends from Japan who'd like to practice English and I can practice my Japanese~ heart So please, send me a pm! Arigatogozaimasu! Ja matane! mrgreen
