Durban59- Sgt. Cooper, meanwhile, was doing recon the entire time. Deciding to make the initiative, he came out of hiding, and walk near Katie. "Excuse me, I hate to be a bother, but I just can't ignore a woman in need. Mind if I walk you home?" He offered her, unsure if she recognized him. Emily walked out of the ally and saw three people fifty feet ahead. As she got closer she could tell one of them was Katie and the other two seemed like they were civilians. She pulled out one of her knifes and slipped it into her right sleeve. "Oh! There you are!!", she yelled out to Katie. Emily smuggly thought to herself, if that kid was going to call the authorities, he should've dialed sooner. She walked up to three of them, "Whew! I've been looking all over for you", she said to Katie. "Come on Katie, play along", she thought.

Vetrona Emily walked out of the ally and saw three people fifty feet ahead. As she got closer she could tell one of them was Katie and the other two seemed like they were civilians. "Come on Katie, play along", she thought. kiana kept an eye on the situation from a rooftop....., ready to come in if she needed too. she pulled out her longbow and two arrows with tranq tips on them

It looks like in this thread rp the glitch may have been fixed.. I will post this so that the posts can be viewed properly.. If the glitch happens again please let me know and I will add everyone's post here in the right order..
watchcat13 kiana had followed emily when she dashed out, tracking her in the skies. she landed on a roof above the alleyway and leaped down using her wings to slow her fall. 'that was very nice. you know, my offer still stands. even so, you have a few minutees to decide. we need to go get katie and have a few words with her new friend. im a bit more noticeable though, so i think ill hang back and let you do the talking, and only come in if you need backup MiLynn Aiko Katie turned her head when the guy caught up, she turned her head and thought.. Why is he following me..? He didn't see it.. gosh I hope he didn't.. "Eh...no, no danger... Sorry... I've got to go.." She sped up a little bit though mostly to try and shake him off though she kept careful no to make her stride too quick to be a human stride. KuroSeiryu Kai could tell something was up, not to mention that tail...this girl was hiding something and he thought of a little something to try to get her to stop. He remembered something one of his buddies who was still in service to him once...something he thought his friend made up after being hit in the head.. "Miss, please stop or I'll be forced to call the police...or maybe the military.." Kai kept his pace, lagging just a bit behind her as he flipped out his cellphone and started dialing a number. watchcat13 'she's down the street outside this alleyway, being followed by a civilian with a cellphone out, and hes asked her to stop. probably trying to get military, though i dont think he knows anything. he saw katies tail so he probably just freaked out and did the first thing that came to mind:get authorities." Katie ignored Sgt Cooper as she ran and hugged Emily playing along a little more than Emily probably expected, "Ehhh! I tried to get the eggs for Grandma Brita's Eggnog, but I forgot my purse and then that dog scared me! It reminded me of when Uncle Sammy's dog bit me! And then the dog's owner," She pointed at Kai as if he wasn't exactly there, "Keeps bugging me!.." The fact that she looked a bit younger than what she really was, gave her the advantage to act slightly younger and more convincing. She hoped that Emily could continue with the performance as they could have passed for cousins, maybe even sisters from their appearance..

"Good, she's playing along". Emily looked back up the two men, "I'm so sorry if my cousin has bothered you two in anyway", she looked back at Katie, "You need to go back home, everyone's worried sick". Emily hoped that Katie would run off back to the house, then she could apologize for her 'cousin's' behavior. She slipped her left arm out of its cast and padded her inside pocket. Her jacket was bulky enough for anyone to notice, but for extreme emergencies she carried a gun in her pocket. She hated to use it, but her gut feeling told her she might need it.

Kai narrowed his eyes slightly and shut his phone partly, he called his home phone and his answering machine was recording right now.
"I see, my apologies for keeping her from returning home.. but as for the dog...he's not mine, and I have only seen him act like that around cats.."
he glanced at the surrounding rooftops after feeling someone was watching, then mentally shrugged it off and glanced at the girls.

Emily wasn't exactly listening. She was waching his cell phone. Through out the years she had been in hiding, she had learned to observant. She recognized the recording cell phone trick. Either someone was listening on the other end or he was recording the conversation with some recording device. "You must watch that dog carefully then, when he ran down the allyway he looked hurt, or, I assume that's the same dog you're talking about". Emily was watching cell phone. At this point it didn't matter to her. "Come on Kate, let's get out of these gentlemen's hair". She looked back at Kai and winked at him.

kiana pulled further back into the shadows when the man looked, and switched rooftops. she let out a piercing whistle to try to warn emily that they should get the heck out then switched rooftops again, gliding as silently as an owl

Emily had grabbed Katie's hand and began walking back towards the allyway when she heard Kiana whistle. She stopped and cocked her head and turned back to Kai with a questioning look. Emily decided it was best to act puzzled. She tightened her grip on her gun with her left hand.

Kai closed his phone the rest of the way as he watched the girls leave, the glanced at the guy who had come to get the tailed girl away.
"Well...I suppose I'll head back as well... "
he nodded a farewell to the stranger as he turned to head back to the gas station to get the food for the dog, lighting up another cigarette.. Something about that guy bothered him a bit, plus it's not everyday a tailed girl bumps into you.

Emily was a little wary of the man with the cell phone, there just was something wrong with him. She turned to Katie when they were out of earshot, "What happened?".

"That dog scared me... and then that guy tried to help, but I think I tried to brush him off a little too much.." she sighed.. She wasn't about to tell Emily that he may have seen her tail.. She was sure she would meet the guy again.. but she didn't get a military vibe from him.. She was somewhat curious as to why he had acted the way he did. She then sad rather quietly, "That other guy is military, so it would be best if we keep moving and soon appear to disappear.. I'm sure he will try to follow us.. No use in going back to the house....."

Emily listened to Katie and said, "Katie, the other man with the phone was recording our conversation I think. He had his phone partly open and he made sure it was in earshot of our voices". Emily discreetly pulled the throwing knife out of her sleeve and placed it in her pocket. By this time they were at the entrance of the ally.

kiana flew down to them and landed a few feet away. 'i can lead you two over the rooftops. it will keep us out of the light for the most part, but there will be a little flyin involved. it shouldnt really be a problem, because it will only be short flights. a few seconds, top, for the larger gaps. you two can jump pretty damn well, but you know cities these days'
