Kirak was listening, but also silently talking to the shadow, which continued to glare at Delaine a few moments longer, then retreated back into the pendent. He sighed lightly as he thought about how to fight Rin once she appeared again.

Rin appeared outside the Geo fortress and walked over to a near by tree. "damn... I can't believe I lost." She said sitting and staring up at the sky. "as much as I hate it... I could definately use a hand in getting this done... Maybe the La Vaes? That dark haired boy said something about her... it doesn't sound like they are on good terms.. maybe she would help me." Rin shrugged... "But I don't even know my way around this world... I wouldn't even know where to start." She yawned stretching. "oh well what a bother... I will figure it out.. " She said leaning up against the tree in thought.

One of the dragoon scouts noticed a girl outside the fortress, he circled and landed nearby, pointing his lance at her "You there, who do you side with!?"

Rin looked up at him annoyed. "Listen here buddy! I just got my a** handed to me by my halfling little brother, his halfling boyfriend, and some stupid human girl... I am not in a good mood, and you are really in no place to be questioning me." She said ominously floating on a little whirl wind. "I am the last person you, especially being a flyer, want to piss off right now."

the dragoon looked from the fortress to the girl "You fought those who hold Geo-fortress?" he lowered his weapon

"you're queen?" She asked cocking an eyebrow. "I need the pink haired boy alive, but everyone else, I wouldn't mind beating the s**t out of." She said smacking her hands together. "how do I meet this queen bee?" She asked smiling wickedly. "She sounds like a friend I want to make"

"I will take you to the Crimson Palace, southeast of here." the dragoon spread his wings and lifted into the air, glancing back to see if she was following.

Rin Sprouted her wings and took off, following him. "how far is it?" She asked yawning as she flew. "And what is your queen like?"

"It depends on how fast you can fly, but one can see the Palace once they're past the desert." seeing that she was keeping up easily, the dragoon flew faster to speed things up. "Personally, I have seen very little of her because of my rank as a foot soldier, but only the strongest magnus can become the La Vaes."

Delaine continued to think, looking around the kitchen and seeing that the place was a mess. "Well...do you have any possessions from your childhood?" She asked, remembering her own and how, as a child, she would always have a doll or some sort of item. Walking around she began to clean up the kitchen, picking things up and putting them away as well as beginning to think of something to eat herself.

"Trust me, fly as fast as you can.. you won't leave me behind." She said following him easily even though he sped up. "Speed and wind are my thing, don't worry about me not being able to follow."

"Very well." he flew as fast as his wings allowed, but they could already start to see the Crimson Palace in the distance.
