^ Is insane for not liking fried rice < Only saw Ever After when it came out but didn't really care for it v Shall be a fine addition to the Flying Noodle team
((Yeah, and how annoying that must've been for people who knew better than to hide under a desk for protection. Always practicing something they knew was meaningless. We always had to do fire drills at my school. They sucked because the teachers made us stand out in the hot sun for like twenty minutes until the drill ended, and we weren't allowed to talk or anything, as if we would be too loud to block out that horribly loud alarm. Though I hated The Comedian personally, I thought his character was worked perfectly and wouldn't change anything about him. It was just so neat how horrible of a man he was, yet how he understood so much. Hollis was okay, but I really didn't get enough of him to form anything more than, "Yeah, I don't dislike him, and I was vaguely sad when he died." I did forget to mention Moloch myself. XD I was very fond of him as well, and I can't explain why either. I hated both of the Silk Spectres... which bothered me because so often I found myself agreeing with Laurie, but I didn't want to because she was so annoying! XD;; And I don't think I ever really liked Veidt from how cool and intelligent he was represented, but just his seemingly detached sympathy with the world. He was an extremely flawed character, but I loved every part of it, and didn't care if he possessed those favorable traits or not. Yay for edits. XD))

^ Now will have to think of a fitting mode of transportation for the Noodle Squad.
< Didn't really care for Ever After at first, but ended up loving it after seeing it several times (some parts still really upset me every time I see it though). I don't like the classic Cinderella, but I like both this and Hammerstein's Cinderellas. Go figure, they're just less ridiculous. At any rate, Ever After at least has some fabulous quotes (like living forever... razz ).
< I don't really like eggs, especially in my rice. I hate cooked carrots and peas as well, and those are traditionally the vegetation you are most likely to find in fried rice. Basically there are just too many things in fried rice I dislike, so I'll stick with steamed or chow mein.
v Will have a dream about pork buns (which will not be remembered) and awake utterly famished tomorrow.
((We were aloud to talk during fire drills. At least fire drills make sense - an evacuation plan to get away from fire. Unlike bomb drills, which were basically plans that insured bodies were all well contained to one space, and not blown up all willy nilly across the campus...^_~. I liked fire drills depending on what class it was getting me out of/who I had in that class to talk to (because like I said, we didn't have to remain quiet, and the weather outside wasn't quite as unbearable as I'm sure it was for you - though I did have to stand in the rain a couple of times. Not that I minded but I'm sure I have several classmates who did).
My opinions on Hollis were mostly based on what I thought of his excerpts, I liked the way he wrote, which gave some insight to the way he thinks. Yes, you really don't get enough to quite ever love him, but I do like him, and it was sad how he went out - and as far as I'm concerned largely Dan's fault - another reason I don't like him, aside from his comical impotence and slightly sketchy vibe. Just know Flying Noodle, that if you retire, do NOT give your alias away. You could wind up paying for your successors mistakes.
Yes, Laurie was extremely annoying. In addition to being a home wrecking whore - I mean Dr. Manhattan was so obviously taken when she met him, and as soon as she has relationship problems she just waltzes off with Dan? That is not how adults should deal with their problems! I think that was the thing with her, she always just seemed like a petulant teenager. I have minimal patience for petulant teens who are actually teens, middle aged women acting in this quality definitely irk me. Also, if she protested so much that she didn't want this life, but wouldn't walk away from it and kept talking it out on her mother. A point comes when in spite of how screwed up your family is, you just have to realize you are accountable for you. Become better in spite of, not live to spite them.
I too didn't care for Veidt based on intelligence, super smart man would not do it for me at all. but yes, his cool manner was intriguing. However in the end he also proved to be an erratic and temperamental child who thought he was always right. Reminded me so much of that 7 year old kid who thinks he's always right, without having adorable 7 year old chubby cheeks to make it ok.))

^ Should try making fried rice herself without including the ingredients she doesn't like, because the sauce is really what makes it awesome < Has decided the Noodle Squad will roll around inside a hollowed-out giant meatball/Never really cared for any Cinderella stories/Doesn't care for eggs either, but can't taste them among the rice and veggies, and loves cooked carrots and peas v Has been wanting to eat pork buns as of late
((Ah, fire drills don't sound bad at all then in your case. XD We never did bomb drills though, and only ever did lock downs a few times when there were possible threats lurking about. Ah, true, I did like Hollis' writing style; I had forgotten about that. So I guess I do vaguely like him, rather than just not disliking him. XD I wish we could've gotten more on him, and his death was very horrible indeed. Heehee, silly impotent Daniel. I shall not make the same mistakes he did as the Flying Noodle! I agree. So like... I sympathized with a lot of her general ways of thinking (like when trying to convince Manhattan to save humanity) but at the same time... ugh! Just so overly-emotional, blames other people for everything, cruel to people who may deserve it, but not in a way that is at all helping them improve themselves... Haha, I've always kind of liked that whole, "I'm right and you're wrong" personality. XD It makes characters more interesting and fun to me.))

^ Will the interior of the meat ball be well lined? Or shall we all smell like meat every time we exit the Noodler Ball?
< I hated the Disney cartoon Cinderella so much I never imagined I could like any telling of the story. Yet, with Hammerstein Cinderella, it's the songs that got me to like it. I'm also amused by the racially blind casting. I mean that's great but it's still funny when you see the white King and his black wife (whose Whoopie of all people) standing their with their Asian son. With Ever After, the characters just really grew on me, and it just has so much more depth than the originally story (which is just ridiculous, boohoo family is evil, yay prince save me!). Danielle for one totally saves herself, has wicked swordsmanship, and I dunno, the prince is just a delicious idiot whose trying to not be an idiot.
v Should eat pork buns soon
((I don't think we did bombs either, that was a bit pre my time, not quite that old, haha. However we did intruder drills and fire drills, the intruder drills were not done well.
I agree entirely with all that. Everything is always THEIR fault, even if it's true, you can't take that attitude, that's just...rude!
I like it in kids, and maybe in teens. Don't particularly like it in adults, especially adults who are supposed to be smart. Smart adults realize and acknowledge their faults.))

^ Shall be seated in a well-lined meatball... in fact, the lining will be the same as stomach lining! o.o < Didn't see Hammerstein Cinderella, so has no opinion on it, though is amused by the racial blindness v Rolled down a hill today
((I guess my school figured we all knew how to lock ourselves in a room, so we never did intruder drills. XD Yes, not to mention immature. But some of the most fun adults are the ones who don't. Like Yami no Malik. <3 But that's going more in the realm of crazy there.))

^ Will have to be careful to make sure the meatball doesn't digest it's passengers.
< If rolled down a hill is a metaphor for getting prodded by my doctor today, then yes, yes I did ^_~.
v Starts mentally humming "Going back to Hogwarts" whenever they see AVPM written anywhere.
((Well again, we didn't just lock ourselves in, the drills were always in passing period and it was too practice waving everyone inside - hence the whole worry that SOMEONE is getting locked in with an intruder.
Yea but the difference between Yami no Malik and Veidt is that the former presents himself as a villain. There is always a childish quality to a villain that a "hero" just shouldn't be emulating. THEY have an image to uphold, a responsibility to be better.))

^ Shall be given a dose of my Great Noodley Immunity so that she is not digested < Is sad for starting school back up this week v Should prod the doctor back
((Anytime we ever got locked in a room together, it was while we were already in class, and the dangerous person was like a robber that had run through someone's yard in the neighborhood to escape or something and they were afraid of him coming into the school, so I don't think we were at very much risk for locking ourselves in with the intruder. XD But is not the more interesting hero one who steps away form the norm and expectations?))

^ Is kind to share the immunity.
< Does not want to prod her 50-60+ year old lady doctor. She's nice, well liked as a doctor, but that's about it.
v Will find the semester flying by with fabulous knowledge goodness very soon.
((Yea, for some reason we needed to practice drills for passing period scenarios - which at a 4000+ student HS makes sense, it's just not a very good plan. We never actually had a real intruder issue while I was there, all the violence on my campus were inside jobs. Ah, gotta love a school big enough to have multiple gangs represented ~_~.
Stepping away from the norms and expectations to be BETTER!! Not worse. If they are worse they aren't heroes. They are just dumb. Ok fine, they are interesting, but still, dumb! razz ))

Hopefully... < Was amused by this site today v Knows how to river dance ((Oh, this was your high school that did the drills? We only ever did those in elementary school. XD High school only ever did fire drills. Ahaha, if being dumb was a trait to keep me from liking characters, than Jounouchi wouldn't be my favorite, now would he? wink ))

^ Has just gotten JK sucked into Very Very Gay hobbits...ahh!!! Awesome! ((btw, my friend had been telling me back when I stayed with her in Dec about how Viggo was very all over everyone in the cast - like the guys, I dunno, he's weird. And it was in random weirdness. I dunno if it can really be said the hobbits are to blame for Viggo being Very Very Gay...^_~))
< Wishes she knew how to river dance
v Can do the Can Can
((Yup, in elementary school we had things like earthquake and fire drills. Earthquake drills stopped by HS, but were replaced with intruder drills, which were ridiculous.
Hehe, hey, Jou isn't dumb...he's...umm...just not school smart razz ))

^ Shall feel the urge to visit Very Very Gay Hobbits daily now < Wishes she could do the Can Can v Kicked their can, can, because she's the man, man, everyone should've seen the way she kicked their can
((Never had earthquake drills here but... makes sense. Arizona doesn't get natural disasters. Like at all. We get storms, and very very rarely flash floods, but that's it. There's been a couple times where we've had tornado warnings, but never actually gotten a tornado, at least no in my lifetime. He's street smart, heck yeah! And on the LotR characters, Viggo did seem to do a lot of funny things. XD Though a lot of the guys really seem into 'playing gay.' Turns out the only actor who's actually gay is the guy who plays Gandalf. XD So sad...))

^ Do the Very Very Gay Hobbits update often?! Or is it just assumed that they are so Very Very Gay that one comes back over and over again to look at the same thing once more?!?
< Also wishes she could do the Can Can
v Like every tree stands on its own/Reaching for the sky I stand alone./I share my world with no one else./All by myself I stand alone.
((Oh that's true, I take for granted living in California that the whole world is not being shaken by Earthquakes, although what with the tragedy in Haiti and what not it's even harder to remember that. Although, I have to admit, in my life I've only felt ONE earthquake, I ran out of my room all "oh my God" and my mom was like "yea?" I'm clamoring earthquake, she's saying "so?" Ah well, I was excited. I have a tendency to sleep through them or just not feel them. In fact right before the Haiti disaster we had 2-3 in a row (well over 2 days), I felt 0.
I've experienced a flash flood once, it was kinda awesome, me and my brother got all excited that our backyard was underwater (I was around 7 at the time) - our house was slightly raised so that didn't end up being a problem luckily. My parents were of course worried about not being lucky the whole time.
He definitely is ^_~.
Yea, knew Ian was gay, that Ian. And yea I know the rest aren't, but it's kinda fun when they play gay, go play! It's weird, I'm kind of more attracted to straight guys doing gay things than gay guys. I see my attractive gay friends smooch it's kind of hot. I see my attractive straight friends do it and I'm completely floored... xd

^ Will have the urge to visit the site everyday, even though Kitsune doesn't know how often they update or if they even do anymore < Actually had "I Stand Alone" stuck in her head a few days ago XD v Tastes like paint... and wood
((I know, it's so sad what happened in Haiti. D: Sometimes I feel like Arizona is one of the only places that doesn't get earthquakes. But yeah, I heard most earthquakes aren't felt, and the ones that are are considered relatively large in size. Reason we get flash floods is because our ground is so unused to having water, when it suddenly rains a lot, the ground can't absorb it fast enough so it builds up. But we rarely get that much rain (did last week with one of the biggest floodings I've ever seen, though it's already dried up now), so usually we just get some puddles. Though Arizona is structured where all houses are uphill slightly, so the flooding always goes to the street instead of buildings. Makes it difficult to drive, but at least our houses are never flooded. Though this last time our back yard was flooded. XD I think I find any guys kissing to be attractive. Though the straight guys doing it is a bit more of a tease, it's also slightly sadder because you know it's not real desire. OMG I lawled at the first one and double lawled at the second! XD What is this comixed site?))

^ Has an interesting story behind why she knows what paint and wood taste like. < ((Yay got reference!! Hehe))...watched Quest for Camelot for the first time in about a decade over the weekend. Now completely obsessed with that song once more. v will check out http://comixed.com/ ((It's a comic site, that usually adds joke dialogue to screen shots and what not. It's got some stupid stuff, and some of the jokes are way over done, but it's definitely got some great stuff. Although it does harp a bit on the "Heath Ledger" is dead thing, I feel awful because I can't stop laughing, but it does just seem wrong. Oh well, it's the joker, you're supposed to laugh!!)) ((Yea, usually here flooding is only a problem on hills - which is where I used to live. The ground on hills is more likely to move. Which is of course a problem with hills. We get rain fairly regularly, not so much in the past few years which is why flooding is such a problem now, particularly in SoCal which luckily is not where I'm from. I was born, raised, and even though I moved 100 miles away for school - still have always remained in NorCal. When I leave NorCal it'll be to leave California, I have no interest in Mid Cal or Socal. Though I am always opposed to any rumor suggesting CA gets split into separate states. I think what I like about the straight guys is the awkward tension and social taboos. Women get away with a much more fluid sexuality, men tend to get locked into gay or straight, and are afraid to be seen outside of their roles. So there is a whole fascinating psychology to their interactions that I find arousing, particularly when you take into play the fact that not all of them hate it. They can pass it off as alcohol, a dare, to get girls, whatever, but it's still this strange spark I can't help but love. It is a tease, and I tend to like to be teased (and to tease, but that's a different matter). Anyhow with gay guys, it may not be a "tease," but it's not like a real desire would do me any good. I'm neither male nor thinking about becoming male soooooooo bah! Hehehe. I found the first one last night while posting, and then I found that other one earlier today and was like, omg that has to go in here, it's so related))

^ Should know that I was actually just quoting from the movie Dennis the Menace < Quest for Camelot was one of her favorite movies, and she used to think that when the griffin was saying, "Precisely" to the bad guy, that he was saying "Fish icy," as if asking for an icy made of fish as a reward for his hard work. XD v Is silly with her mixture of laughter and guilt
((Ah, so the comixed site kind of seems like a sort of lawlcats then, except without a specific focus to caption on? Looks fun. =D Oh, I see what you mean. The awkward tension is definitely something that makes the straight guys more interesting and hot to me, but at the same time, I think the pure passion and desire that gay guys can have is more a turn on to me personally, even though I obviously can't get involved myself.))
