The flame was short-lived, the bread burnt to a crisp in only moments. It was a shame it had not burned longer, but still, chomp! He had popped the burned bread in his mouth, swallowing it in a single bite. Pyromaniac, perhaps it only stood to reason that he would enjoy eating burned food.

Bad terms? Not really, he had simply been uninterested in whatever Helena had said to him the night before, not that he even remembered what she had said in the first place. That didn't mean they couldn't be allies though, not at all. Smirk.

However now as more teammates joined them, it was beginning to feel a bit crowded, and Alex, well he wasn't sure about her yet.

A quiet nod to Helena, he at least remembered her face, a sinister grin at Alex.

Flick, the lighter sparked again, only for a moment before he flicked it closed again. Hmmm...

He leaned over the table, toward Methi, whispering so that only he heard.

"If we stand together, we can weed out the weak, and be stronger for it."

The same words were echoed to Rosalina, a flick of his lighter to emphasize his words, that wicked plotting smirk aimed at Rosa as he did. Yes, allies.

For the second time that day, Ratchet sprinted into the dining hall. This time, it was full of Audios eating, and she had a hard time spotting any other Beavers. At first. Between Jay's green streaks and Noel's flashiness, she found them quickly and dashed over to their table. "Noel! Jay, Serena!" She stopped at their table to catch her breath, waving quickly at all of them and their new friend, a girl she didn't recognize. "How's the water here? Drinkable? Something's happened to Helena, and I think she needs water." The scent of food hit her nose, and she realized just how hungry she was. Her stomach grumbled and growled, and she glanced down at it. "And..." she spotted some garlic bread. "Is that ok to eat? She might want some, and I know I want some. I haven't had a bite all day!"

"No thank you," Methi said, declining Alex's offer. "I'm meerly making sure it's not going to try and eat me first." He said, taking a bite. It was then that he caught Lucifer leaning over to whisper to him. Methi's ears twitched at each word, and he gave a nod.

The weak? Oh yeah! There were supposed to be team challanges, and if they lost,...they had to vote someone off. Hmn,..it only made sense to weed out the weak.

Noel got up like lighting , letting his sandwich fall on his plate. Something had happened to that sweet sewing chick Helena? She needed water?

"Where is she?" Was the first thing that came out of his mouth. His face was still charming but there was a bit of seriousness leaking through. Some one in trouble as sweet as Helena?

Before Em could say a word Noel was off. She shrugged and continued eating her food, "Hope it's nothing too serious. Whatever's wrong with that girl."

It was soon that more Sharks had joined their table, but Rosalina had been busy trying to swallow down the pasta.

Ears perked at Lucifer's words however, and her eyes flickered over to the pyro, a gentle nod signifying that she had heard. Hmm, yes. Allies. It seemed like a good idea.

She eyed the new boy who had joined them, shaking her head slightly. How could he stand this food? "Maybe if I have any leftovers, you can have it."

Following Jay's lead, Ratchet gathered food in her paws. She glanced at the others apologetically. She felt bad for dragging them away from their conversations, but this might be serious. Helena could be hurt! And with all that team-first mentality... Plus, Helena was little and sweet. Helping her was important. Running along with Jay back to the cabin, Ratchet noted the look of concern on the other girl's face. "Thanks," she said quietly, then continued running back to the cabin.
