Kia's mother started to resist at first, but eventually took her seat. "You shouldn't, your a guest here." She had stopped her crying once she knew Kalia heard her.
"Your not telling me everything, are you..." Kia's mother prodded. "It's alright. Every boy has his secrets. I wonder who these people are though. I don't know what Kia could have done to have gotten them angry..." She rubbed her eyes for a moment, drying them off as they moistened. "You two... look good together..." she smiled where she sat, disappointed that Kalia had no intentions of taking a further relationship with her son. "Were... what are you going to do next? If someone is hunting for the two of you... you can't stay here." She sounded disheartened, as well as still upset. She seemed to be trying to be helpful as well as also distracting herself from her own worries to those of Kalia's.

"I'll help keep him safe until they give up... maybe a few years... maybe less..." she said pouring two mugs, her delicate nose caught the scent of tea leaves and lead her to the right cubbord, "And then I'll dissappear..." she said putting the tea bags in each cup, before setting one before Kia's mother and one at her own spot.

Kia's mother seemed to nod in understanding. "Just... realize your own feelings before you leave. Don't make the same mistake I did when I was younger..." Reminisces on Yojan's father, whom she had left before she knew she was pregnant. "You know... I left a guy once. Yojan's father... he was a sweet man. I didn't feel he was good enough for me, so I left. I have never seen him again sense then though."
She placed two spoonfuls of sugar into her tea and stired for a moment, before breathing in the steam from the cup. He closed her eyes, trying to apparently relax. "I wonder what Kia's going to do. I worry for them, the two of them."

Kalia half smiled, almost wishing she could tell the woman she had no intention of falling for anyone... ever, "I know what I am doing... and even feelings won't change that..." she said quietly before sipping her still boiling tea.
Kalia's hands flexed around the mug, "I should be out there... I should be doing something..." she said her voice low.

"My dear, I think you should actually be doing what Kia asked you to do. Rest. You look bushed. I have two beds open for use... seen as the boys aren't around for a while. If being in a boys bedroom is an issue, you can always use my bed." She sat there, sipping her tea. She didn't think this Kalia women was likely to rest when she would, but you can't force a teen to sleep when they should. She learned that the hard way with Kia, and was soon to again with Yojan.

Kalia fought a bitter battle between what she felt she should be doing and what she knew she needed to do. With a sigh she folded her arms over her waist, "Keep your bed... you need to rest as well..." she said, "I think you're right I should get a little rest..." she said at last, she was tired of being useless, and if worse came to worse she was a light sleeper and even a little rest would make her more ready to cope with whatever came. That was assuming she could even sleep as anxious as she was.

Kia's mother looked hesitant for a moment before she spoke out, "Are you... like Kia?" She tried to word it so that, if this Kalia wasn't what she was thinking, then no one would know. Yet if she was, she would instantly understand what she was referring to.

Kalia hesitated not quite sure what the woman was referring to, "No?" she offered hesitantly, before she glanced at her hands and the dark marks there, "No I don't have any health issues..." she said, thinking the woman meant her bruises as compared to Kia's "anemia".

The women smiled slightly, "It was nothing. I was being silly. Just, go and rest for a few. I'm sure Kia will be back soon... I'll just wait here for him and Yojan." She sat, enjoying her tea as she watched this strange girl her son had brought in with him. She seemed nice, but had some kind of... edge to her. A hardness that belied her years.

Kalia put her hands on her hips and mock scowled, "If I am going to rest you are too..." she said firmly, "Trust that Kia can do what needs to be done..." she said gently sheparding the woman up the stairs, "You need your rest as much as I do... if not more..." she said reasonably, guiding the woman to the room that bore her same scent.

"Pardon me?" Kia's mom exclaimed. "I've been up longer shifts than this at work. I'll be *yawn* fine." Despite her protest, she didn't seem to fight Kalia much.

Meanwhile, it took Kia nearly an hour to navigate his way to the place stated in the note. He hoped he has destroyed it enough so Kalia wouldn't follow so easily. He now stood in front of an old factory, surprisingly close to where the park he was found in was. It seemed Alice was determined to send a reminder to Kia. Kia didn't care though. Yojan, his younger brother in if nothing else but name, was in danger. He couldn't let anyone hurt his family. He approached the building and found that the gate had a whole riped in it. He wedged his way through the hole and soon found himself by the broken doors of the building. He didn't know what to expect. The note only said to come to the factory alone, which was another reason Kalia couldn't come with him. He was sure he could talk Alice out of whatever crazy scheme she was up to this time.. or be strong enough to make her pay...

Kalia hid a tiny smile and resisted the urge to tell Kia's mother it wasn't nice to argue with your elders, "Be that as it may..." she said pulling back the corner of the sheets and leaving her to change into her pajamas and tuck herself in. Kalia slipped out of the room closing the door behind her, she walked a few steps down the hall to the first room on her right and opened it, she was glad to see it was a bedroom. Her nose caught the familiar scent and she hesitated before shrugging. Better to rest in a room that smelled familiar then one she didn't know. She sighed and slipped under the covers curling up into a tiny ball. At first she was too anxious to sleep but slowly her boy over rode her objections and she drifted off.

Alice paced the legnth of the room, her heels clicking as she waited not so patiently, "Honestly!" she said planting her hands on her hips and twirling to face Yojan, "What is taking him so long?" she demanded becoming irritated. She trailed one of her long nails, painted a cutsy pink down Yojan's cheek in a terrifying gesture, "I might just get hungry and start without him..."

Kia took a deep breath before entering into the building, as he had no idea what to expect. Where would she be? Where would she hide Yojan? Gah! He couldn't think like her. She was too... crazy. He frowned outwardly as he thought that. While Kia was walking in, Yojan was having problems of his own, "He isn't coming." He cried, tears flowing down his cheeks. "He's dead!" Yojan himself couldn't deal with this. It seemed unreal that his older brother, the person who has always been like a father, be dead. Yojan turned his face away from Alice, not understanding the last part of her statement. "You... you might as well... do whatever you plan on doing with me. He... he isn't..." He was fighting off tears of frustration, anger, sadness and despair. This was too much for the youth.
