Katsuko stretched her back and continued to categorize all the junk in the store room.

"I'm comin to check on your progress now!" he said as he got up and made his way to his store room.

Katsuko nodded and took a look at the room. she had gotten about halfway through. one half was neat and orderly and the other side was a complete mess.

Garret walked in and saw what Katsuko had done already. "Take a break." he said as he walked out.

Katsuko sat down on the floor. her back and legs and arms hurt all over. her eyes closed and she leaned back on the wall behind her.

Garret went to his bedroom and took an emerald from his nightstand. He walked back to his storeroom and slipped the emerald in Katsuko's pocket.

Katsuko felt Garrett slip something into her pocket. her eyes opened and she looked at him. "What are you doing?" she asked him.

Garret walked out of the storeroom in silence.

Katsuko frowned and then reached into her pocket and withdrew the stone. she studied the emerald in confusion. *What is this for?* she wondered.

Garret sat on the sofa with Nina and pet her till she fell asleep.

Katsuko put the emerald back in her pocket and stood up. she continued to organize the room.

Garret kissed Nina lightly and picked her up. He went to he bedroom and set her on the bed. He kissed her lightly once more and covered her up.

Garret walked into his storeroom and pulled a violin from one of his boxes. He dusted it off readied his bow and closed his eyes. He thought of the sadness and sorrow he went through as a kid and played the violin accordingly. each note sounding beautiful yet depressing.

Tears fell from Garrets closed eyes as he played the beautiful but sad song. He hoped that Katsuko wouldn't see his tears.
