Going in circles in the middle of the ocean does not sound like fun. If I were going to go out on the ocean, I would like to actually go somewhere! I've always wanted to go on a cruise, so that would work nicely.

Holy freaking crap! That stupid Easter event fried my circuits! I spent the entire week glued to my computer and my family was calling to see if I was still alive. I suck!

But I can't say I did a whole lot better. I barely did anything except that Easter event! And go to work, of course. They wouldn't understand:
"Hi! I was just calling to say I'm not going to be in to work today."
"Really? You okay?"
"Yeah. I'm fine! I just need to stay home and spend hours collecting pixels."
"Then don't bother to come in at all. You're fired!"

They just don't get it! I can't even check up on Gaia at work. They blocked it on the public computers! crying They don't even block all the "adult" sites, but they block Gaia!?!?!?!

Library techs are idiots. They'll block anything--or they'll pay other people to decide whether or not something should be blocked. At my old work they blocked MySpace because it was a drain on the server (too many images, videos, and streaming music). Well, the geniuses apparently didn't know about proxy sites, so they spent years hunting them down as they came up. After that? The kids starting going to some Spanish version of MySpace and I think the techs just gave up. They're really only good at making up excuses to keep their job.
Speaking of work--I'm finally working for the first time in 9 months! It's under the table, involves working with the public in the 100+ degree weather, and is only for one day, but screw it! It's money!
