Pods are four at a time until the Coven finishes converting the original design. Angelic pods are designed for beings far more durable than humans. Also, the bottom half remains on the legs until they eject that in case of air combat.

I would certainly hope that the pods are more durable than the humans. Imagine just ramming a giant hunk of human flesh into a ship and then blowing it up! Even our bone structure wouldn't put up with that kind of punishment; anyone inside would be thrown into the open air in a heartbeat!
Also... what do you mean "the bottom half remains on the legs"? Like... I can't even... what? The humans' legs?

I think he means the bottom half of the pods, Siber. In case of air combat.

That's correct, Bayer. The beings in question are angels, which have skin that can take more punishment than most kinds of metal.

Joe's correct; the angels (in typical angel fashion) like having the large metal pod section on their legs. It makes a great bludgeoning object. They just have to swing their legs around at a target and bam.

It would, but for a few problems.
1: It would start hard and stay hard,
2: it would be REALLY hard to balance multiplayer.

"Okay, i'm beating on him... Ah, crap, i'm on fire, I'm dead. Don't worry, he'll bludgeon me with his legs until i fall over."

2. Nah, it really wouldn't. EVERYONE is ridiculously powerful.

Heck, they balanced multiplayer on games where you mow down Nazis like grass.

On the other hand, then you'd introduce heroes like Paul and Joe... Then things go CRAZY.
