Kai's heart skipped a beat. *Impossible...* he thought. "Cassie how old am I, What year is it, And are you still a siren?" he asked.

Cassie turned on her heal and examined Kai. she walked up to him and stared into his eyes. she placed a cool hand on his forehead. "Hmm... thats odd- you're not sick..... did you hit your head? you're like-" Cassie squinted, "twenty-two, and i'm nineteen. its 2010, and what do you mean and i STILL a SIREN? i mean- sure i can be annoying and loud but don't you think calling me a siren is going overboard?" Cassie shook her head.

Kai's eyes widened and he had trouble breathing. *I'm living in a world where Cassie is my SISTER and she's not a siren, AND she believes that I am Mortal.* he thought. "Cassie i was adopted right?" he asked.
