ENTER X from HELL
There was no point in returning to Exodus. With the Spectre there destroying the realm, and waiting for him, it would be an utterly brainless move. Fortunately X had many realms to hide in that would be just as hard for others to enter.
Not that it would be a problem for the mighty and vengeful Spectre to enter.
And not that X would care. Not now.
X's physical form solidified inside an endless black realm filled with liquidy blue energy flowing throughout it, similar to that of Exodus. A few of the most noticeable differences were the translucent images that reflected throughout the energy that seemed to make up the 'floor' that X stood on, the complete absence of any form of architecture, and the few brightly glowing orbs that floated about the realm.
One of the said orbs floated towards X and paused beside him. It emitted a light sound that seemed rather reminiscent to that of wind chimes.
X glanced at the thing, then sighed and began walking forward, the liquidy energy following after him.
"I felt a change of clothing would be for the best." he said, seemingly to it.
"I don't feel the same as I did before, so I decided a slight change in my appearance would be appropriate."He'd sold his soul yet again. This time though, he didn't have to answer to anyone. He had more power. That to 'rival the Spectre' as the demon called it. He had been prepared to die by the Spectre's hand. He'd pushed Alcina away, his son was gone, and he really had no other purpose. But the thought that he could live...to try and win Alcina back...give her the life he had promised her before any of this had started...well, it was worth going down fighting for at the very least.
The orb followed after him, and chimed again.
"There is no need. The stitching has already been placed, I can continue from here." X replied.
Finding the right spot, he stopped walking and simply stood there for a moment. He looked down at the reflective energy flowing around his feet. An image of the merged world he had created curled around a ripple of the energy. Another image, the very core of the planet.
The energy around him turned a deep red. X's eyes began to glow an eerie, crimson color...and his expression...became cold.
"The wizard is conveniently occupied elsewhere. Spectre is still in Exodus. What better time for me to make this planet a permanent fixture. And perhaps I will destroy it for my own enjoyment this time."
