The determined drive in him caused him to pass with flying colors during his 3rd try and by then he actually knew a few water jutsu not basics. After becoming a Gennin several tragic events happened, one afternoon coming home from training he noticed a dark cloud coming over the village. When he had gotten to his doorstep the clouds mysteriously had already gone, upon entry he found no one home. Inside his mother lay dead and his father her murderer fleeing out the window, later he found out his father was an undercover rogue ninja.<br/><br/>After this he lived alone training all day and night, the elements of wind and water had become is only love and soon he began to master each their basic jutsu. Though soon water became his master forte and he developed many advanced forms as a Gennin, water also helped the decision on what taijutsu he learned. He decided on Pia Qua Quan when he noticed how the flexibility of a master user almost matched that of the flowing movements of water. He devoted his training to it soon after and also used this to develop a technique he uses as a bounty hunter. The Assassin Strike, came to him when he was studying how to get the kill in combat, he noticed how slitting the throat was such a clean undetectable motion. He began to make an art of throat slitting (for lack of a better word) and found that by disabling the opponents arms he could bend there neck to the appropriate positioning where the larynx didnt shield the jugular vein. <br/><br/>After developing his Gennin skills to the highest level he could he finally decided he was ready to become a bounty hunter. Ever since that faithful evening when his mother was killed he decided he would become a bounty hunter. This sword was made by combining a sword and amulet both with chakra absorbing properties, therefore this weapon still contains some of those characteristics. The sword slowly and gradually absorbs the owner's chakra. Although this chakra cannot be given back to the user, it can still be put to use. Upon releasing the chakra, the users chakra element is unleashed through the blade. The specific type is dependent on the users specific elements. For earth, water, and wind the sword is more like a focus for elemental control, allowing basic control without handsigns (like a baton). However, when fire or lightning are used the element envelopes the blade giving strikes elemental power.
