Emma looked at her cell. She had a few missed calls. One caught her interest. She thought to herself, Steve, why did Steve call me. I was clear that I was with Monty. She quietly removed herself from Monty and went to call Steve back. No one picked up so she left a message, " It's Emma. Call me back. "

Monty curled up in a ball on the bed as she slept, hugging the pillow when Emma had gotten up
not long after he called her back and waited for an answer
