Mit shrugged, "I figured it would be funny if you flew past and I stuck my head out of a tree to surprise you. You got to admit Sky that was a pretty smooth Material Penetration." The mage grinned at his familiar.
"Only if you count the fact that you were not able to stop the urine from getting on your pants," Ambersky said trying to deflate Mit's ego.

Mit ducked his head like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar ((Oh, the irony)) "It still would have been funny... My head popping out of a tree going 'boo!'... It could have been real funny..."
Ambersky rolled his eyes, and shook his head, "Mit, your opinion of funny and other people's is very different."

Tora wondered if he should just pee on the man again, but there was two things stopping him. The first reason was that he was actually being semi-serious now. The second and most important reason was that he was all out of urine. He sat there and watched them since none of them were speaking to him at the moment.

Mit pouted a little more, "I'm sorry... I was just..." He sighed and bowed to the fairy "Forgive me good lady. I should have known better. But after so many months of no one but Sky to talk to, you really look hard for someone to joke around with... Please accept my most sincere apologies."

Ambersky's expression looked like he might have had a raised eyebrow if he'd been human, "I've not seen you this serious since we left the old country, Mitica..."

Mit scooped her hand and brushed his lips over it, Bowing again but this one different than the apologetic one he'd had before, "I'm honored by your concern for me, Lady Violet. But I'm very good at my magic, I was in no danger." He smiled at her, "I'm Mitica Oakson. Please call me Mit."
"This is, unfortunately, my Mage," Ambersky admitted.

Mit stood back up and rubbed the back of his head, "Well My master has had to bale me out of a few magical problems but walking through the trees is pretty easy. What about you milady? You any good at magic?"
"You mean like how you're master had to breath life back into you?" Ambersky asked, sounding smug, "Or the time you got stuck in Hawk form, or the time you got turned into a wooden statue because you over used your magic, and then your grandfather had to breath life into you?"

"Yes," Violet said, smiling. She had always been told she was very good with her magic at home. Certainly nothing like what Ambersky was describing had happened to her.

"Okay..." Mit pouted, "So I was a little accident proned when I was finishing my studies... But I am the Mage of the forest now, so I'm not that bad anymore... The turning into a statue was part of a more powerful spell, I just held it too long." He glared at Ambersky, "and you didn't have to bring the old man into the subject..."
Ambersky grinned "I am your familiar... I am supposed to remind you of your faults." He turned and went to sit next to Tora, "It is amusing to watch humanoids scramble not to embarrass themselves, is it not?"
