Kokopelli entered a portal, and, viewing Caleb as sick [as his breath was still warm], he took a exorcism slip and placed it on Caleb's forehead.
Nothing happened.
Kokopelli froze, wondering what this meant, and kindly took the slip off, patting Caleb on the head,and running like high hell into the portal.

Caleb looked behind him, to see Kokopelli dashing away. Caleb stood and went to his student in the parlor.

"Ann...!"
She shrugged.
"Ah well, I guess I should pity her, after all."

A small sigh exited the mask. "...Will you be fine then?" He questioned.

"Yes, of course."
She sighed.
"I wonder if her condition has improved or not? I won't check for myself, but..."

"May I ask what condition?" Caleb asked, putting fresh wood into the fireplace. A lit match was thrown into the wood, causing it to snap and crackle before it started truly burning.

Moé sighed.
"Ann has a severe mental problem. Kokopelli took her in and healed her, but she's been getting worse."

"What is this mental problem she has?" Caleb sat himself down into his familiar leather chair in the parlor, his attention focus on her.

Moé sighed, again.
"She has a justified fear of her serial killer father. He sends out agents to kill her, to bring him back the corpse so he can eat it."
She shivered.
"Her mother more than supports it, too."

Moé nodded.
"Kokopelli did a good enough job to have her leave her room. I heard from Mom that it was because a girl didn't reciprocate his affections, so he killed her, bound her soul to a knife, and kept her corpse in a room of his. He was forced by brainwashing to stab his wife, and I theorized that the girl's soul found its way into Ann, who she was pregnant with. That's why she looks so different, but has the genes of both parents."

Caleb gripped the chair tightly, his body goosebumped. He was in a small state of panic and paranoia. He tried to calm himself down by taking deep breaths.

Moé paused.
"I could ask Ann what Uncle Azrael thinks of you, but the subject may make her uncomfortable. Let's see... he hates Jin more than anything, along with Ann, Kokopelli, those who defend any of the three, and those who leer at his wife."
She blinked.
"Jin's an immortal scientist who wishes to take over the world. Two of those qualities match you. And you try to defend Ann and Kokopelli, so..."
She wailed.
"I think my uncle hates you."

"I know who Jin is." Caleb replied. "...It also does not surprise myself that he would hate myself. I would be amazed if he thinks of myself as some sort of fermented wine."
