"Indeed, Synra and this time, there will be no escaped." Grishelda responded as a firewall began to spring. The firewall wrapped around her and Synra, leaving enough room for the two of them to fight. Along the firewall were strings of lightning and winds.
"No one gets in, no one gets out. Only one of us will have to die." Grishelda said with venom in her line.

[oh... my bad...... ._.]
Tacitus passed Amelia, as she fell. Clearly, she could no longer fight. "...I warned you... not to resist...." Tacitus rode off.

Luna found Amelia and Nometal. Nometal got knocked out by Tacitus. She ran to him to give him the last of her elixir she had on her. "Come on let's get out of here."

"F-fix... you cannot... milady!" Her voice cracked momentarily with what sounded like an imitation of sheer fear, and she felt that same tinge of panic rush through her body as when she had confronted the human woman in the dungeons. This was not what she had been meant to feel around Lady Madriana. Not fear.
Loyalty. Servitude. Obedience. But not fear.
There had been a change. She, but a child, had learned in a small span of time what it meant to think, to feel, to believe...
"Please, it does not have to be this way. There is nothing to fix... We can secure peace, my lady! But you must release me!"

Her eyes darted accrost the battle feild as she peeked out from behind her hideing place. It seemed as if the units of both sides had found someone to match their strength aginst. Nervously, the merchant swayed, unsure of herself. Perhaps she could make a break for it. At the least, she could try to find a better place to hide untill things settle.
Hitching up her skirt so she could better run, the Vendor Woman made a mad dash for the now knocked over buffet table. It would prove better shelter than a tree.

((Wait, is Synra being carried off or what?! @_@))
"ABEL!!"
The scenes played back in his mind, memories as fresh as if they'd happened yesterday.
A friend, a mistake in planning, a fierce dragon.
Blood.
It wouldn't happen again. A fallen morph had dropped a spear--he yanked it out of the corpse's hands and charged after Abel, swinging the butt of the lance back and forth to repel Madriana's creations.

Tibarn could have dodged. He could have-- he was unencumbered by the weight of any passengers he carried-- but he was distracted by something. Vaherianslyeri's call to Vika. Roy's blow came as a surprise, and he was forced to let go of Amelia and stagger back, screeching loudly. "Boy, you step too far... get out of my way." The hawk's eyes narrowed as he spread his wings, and then he shot himself straight up. He had to get away, get far enough back to make a sweep and run... but who to save... who...
He swept his eyes across the crowd, from one to the next... and settled on Vah. If he grabbed her, maybe it would distract the others long enough to escape...
It was a long shot. He might get killed.
He folded his wings and dropped like a missile from the sky, talons ready to snatch up Vaherianslyeri and carry her over the castle wall.

Tacitus saw a man running at him. Clearly a fool who did not know when to give up. He had been severely damaged by an arrow shot at an extremely close range. Tacitus turned around and rode toward the man, firing many arrows at him, before there was a need to draw his talwar blade.

She turned and stared at Vah. "Why... Have you turned out so much closer to human than those creations of my predecessor? Why are you so different? You and Synra and... everyone?"
