((Gawsh, I'm still drawing profiles of our characters here, too. I should be productive. I'm right here!

But I don't wanna.))

(( Sorry I haven't posed much or posted frequently I've been preoccupied by other things. But I should be on a while tonight. ))

((Ha. YOU didn't post?

Gosh, I'll hopefully post tomorrow. I have no idea why my motivation is so pitch-bottom.

Heck, be prepared to wait 'till Monday. Monday will be better, almost definitely.))

((Take note of fresh update: I'm keeping track of personal weapon ammo too, in a vague way. Well, I will be once I get time to get to all of them.))

Valya went out, Gabriel and Ivan went with her. Both were assigned P-90s as well. Joshua, Cado, Alyx, and Marcus patrolled along with the Five Star employees. For a long time they listened to blank promises, blatant lies, and terrifyingly obvious politics. Nothing happened. Joshua seemed to get more on edge as less occurred, and he started yelling at people for stupid reasons. He kept reaching into his coat, ensuring that his firearm (whatever it was) was there.

Closing ceremonies began. Nothing had happened; it seemed like the whole thing might have gone down without trouble. Shae’s men were beginning to relax, even against training, and even the agents began to believe that nothing would happen. Joshua stayed tense, but even he was breathing easier.

Then a thought blasted into the agent’s minds, along with a sense of extreme desperation. Kill the opposition leader. Move Valya. Agent Drake, get her out of there now. Mr. Yama, get to cover, very, very quickly. Reinforcements are inbound. Opposition numbers perhaps thirty or forty agents. Prepare for very stiff assault. Civilian casualties are acceptable. Keep. Yourselves. Alive. The communicator went silent, for the moment.

A buzzing began to fill the air. Half a second later, a helicopter burst over the rim of the stadium – an old model, probably an Apache. It still had a 20mm chaingun, a new model, and it was clearly honing the gun in on the stand. Kaylene stared at it blankly.

---

Nathaniel was sitting in a dropship. Beside him was the boatman - er, Steven - and Jack, both of them handling G3s and looking very grim. About ten or twenty other men were in the vehicle. "Ready?" Steven demanded.

Shae groaned. "I knew it was too easy."
He whipped out his PDA, tapped it once, and held it like a phone. "Yeah, Horace? Get the men moving now, we've got Agents inbound. Intel says thirty to forty." Pause. "You what? Nice! Get it ready then."
Shae put it away. "My men say that they're ready, and it turns out one of them brought our Agent-beating stick." He himself moved his coat out of the way of his holsters, so he could draw quickly.
Then he saw the helicopter. "H'o s**t," he said quickly before heading for cover.

((Agent-beating stick?))

“Seems like things have changed.” He said with a grim smile.

Ivan slowly reached behind himself into his agent coat and pull out the shiny new FN P90. He turned the safety off and aimed up at the men in the chopper. His bullets were not off but they didn’t seem to be doing much damage to the men, even with the armor piercing. He then re aimed at the man at the chain gun and unloaded a few rounds into his head hoping that would hold them off for a little while. Drake tucked the gun back into the agent coat and then turned and grabbed Valya by the wrist.

“Shae you better kill Moore quick, I gotta get the cargo to a safe distance. I’m counting on you. If you don’t kill him I’ll be killing you later on.”

Ivan then threw Valya up into his arms and began to high tail it as fast as he could out the back of the stage. Things were looking bad and those forty agents showed up quickly then it could be quite a problem. In a face to face fight he might be able to take ten or twelve of them on but there was no way he could fight them all and keep the woman alive. It would be hard enough to take bullets and still fight back he had to get her somewhere safe and fast.

((Note that the Apache has a chin gun instead of a minigun operated in a door - a gunner or pilot would be controlling it, and glass will indeed stop small arms.

Also, why doesn't Foreigner post here? GODMOD))

The chin gun burst to life.

Gabriel, Ivan, and Kaylene barely managed to get off before the stage exploded into splinters. Moore was standing, drawing a handgun, but it did no good; 20mms blew him to pieces. Metallic pieces. An agent.

Another chopper now appeared, this one carrying soldiers, presumably agents. Ten or so armed with M4s leapt from twenty feet and rolled comfortably to the ground, aiming to kill. They opened fire, spraying lead at Ivan.

(( Guess I should of asked more about the chopper, I assumed the gunner was out in the open part of the chopper. ))

Armor resistance, right, that’s what wearing these glasses pays for me.”

In the corner of Ivan’s eye he could see another chopper and several enemy agents leaping out ready to attack him. As they began to unload stray bullets at him he slid on his back narrowly avoiding beings shot. It was only a few seconds before they would be shot up full of holes and Ivan had to think on his feet. He wasn’t sure what part of the building he was in and it would only be a matter of time this ended in a bloody shootout.

He grabbed Valya by the wrist again against her own will and began to run again getting her behind cover. He could hear footsteps nearby and not the good kind. He had thought he had missed all the bullets but it seems he was just now feeling the stinging in his arm was now kicking in.

“Guess it wasn't such a clean sweep after all. Speaking of sweep this place is pretty dusty. Now that I think of it where the heck are we?”

Ivan extended his right arm and pulled out Sue, his trusty left wrist blade. He dug the blade into his plating arm and dug the bullet out. It was begging to bleed a bit but he didn’t have time for that. He retracted it and put his finger up to his ear.

”Can anyone hear me? I need back up, Agents about ten of them. I’m trapped in a small room, just inside of a nearby building. Not sure where I am, I don’t tend to look when I’m bolting full speed. I repeat I need backup.”

Hades, be grateful... Cado groaned into his brainmeatcommunicator, directing it solely to Hades. Then, on their open channel: Bulletsponge, I think I know where you went. I'm gonna jump 'em from the back. How long can you hold? Never mind, irrelevant question.

Ivan heard a yell of "Surprise!" from outside, followed by agents yelling.

For a quarter of a second.

Then came the deafening sound of... what resembled about seven medium-sized explosions occurring simultaneously, as Cado threw a grenade belt into the midst of the agent squad. He pulled his shotgun from his coat to deal with anyone who had taken cover, darting between pillars and other obstructions.

From the placement of the grenades, almost all of the agents went down.

Almost.

One was merely thrown to the ground (again, Cado was starting to wonder what could possibly be going on here). That particular little bothersome fellow successfully drew a bead on Cado and put about five rounds into his legs. Not an immobilizing blow for a modified agent, but enough to force Cado's chems all the way up. The gunship, meanwhile, focused on where Shae's men were starting to try to engage and where the other agents were, under the bleachers. It was starting to move out so that it could have a really proper visual angle on whoever wasn't inside the stadium. Ivan, who was instead in one of the locker rooms, was safe with Kaylene. She looked breathless and pale as a ghost.

More agents were coming from outside. Gunfire broke out; Marcus became aware of the loss of a man or two and Joshua nearly lost a man from his agent team to a well-placed 5.56 round. They were losing ground.

Oddly enough, Alyx was nowhere to be seen.

Cado stumbled into cover and paused for a second to dig out the bullets with his fingers. He got two; one seemed to have gone all the way through. He decided to deal with whatever else was there later. He dove out from behind his cover and began to release rounds carefully towards the other agent's head.

((Yep. Agent-beating stick. Let me know if it's not good, I'll edit.))

Shae flinched as a bullet nicked his ear. Or rather, a bullet blew a small piece of metal off the bleacher that tore his ear.
He whipped out his trusty PDA, shielding the screen. He was deeply saddened by the loss of his men, but a small alert appeared on his screen in the form of a red crosshair. He tapped it lightly and was given a view from the scope of...some weapon. It was aimed down at the Agents as Cado's grenade belt shredded them.
"New target!" Shae shouted to Horace. "Get the Stick aimed at the chopper! Take them down!" There was a soft beeping from the PDA, and the Stick fired.
An RPG launched itself straight up, aimed at the bottom of the chopper at such an angle that when it blew, it would blow away from those under the bleachers.
Seeing Cado under cover and looking like he wasn't having a good time, Shae rolled out and drew, cracking off two shots almost simultaneously. Their accuracy remained to be seen, but whatever they hit definitely got torn up.

((Rockets. Just for Venom.))

((Okay, I'm gonna do what Joe told me to, 'cuz I'm kind of lost right now.))

Gabriel Yama ran to the top of the building and sniped any available target.
