Kale glanced at her and smirked. 'Nothing is wrong, I just don't like him.' he replied to her head.

Kale just shook his head. 'No one to concern yourself with.'

Kaida pouted and looked up at him. "How long is that?"

Her mind was full of anticipation, and he could probably sense it. She placed her head on his shoulder again and waited.

Felix eventually found herself in the library of the manor, after much wandering. Entranced by the large leather bound volumes in the nearest shelf, Felix let her fingers trail along the hard spines, before finally chosing a large volume of old folktales to read.
She was reluctant to return to her room, that would most certainly lead to a confrontation with November, and Felix was also keen to keep out of the way of the vampire Kale and his new mate. Vampires tended to be protective of new mates...at least...Matthew had been.
Realising tears were starting to seep from her eyelids, Felix banished such thoughts and turned to the book in her hands.

Kale's eyes widened slightly at their topic of conversation, but he tried to hide it from Kaida since she always seemed to like looking at his eyes. However, he couldn't stop the hand on his lap from going into a fist as he realized why John wanted Talon to turn her now, instead of any of the other vampires. Which would also maybe explain why Talon drank most of his blood just so he'd have no choice but to accept what he felt for Kaida and turn her.

Talon just sat on his bed in thought, he didn't feel like reading now that he got pissed of with Kale and now John's sudden request to turn his granddaughter was bothering him. Nothing John requested of him was a good thing... he thought of what John and Kaida said but when it all just came in a jumble he sighed. "I need to feed." he stated to himself in conclusion to his thoughts. With that he stood up and quickly left his room and went down stairs intending to leave the house for a bit. He hoped that the human who thinks she loves him only had a crush as he went for the door. To his relief, he was allowed to leave and he went out into the fresh air the doors closing behind him.
