Noting the direction Alcina was looking, the Stranger said, "The one who shall pass X's doom to him is not he. He is not from my Universe."

"No, I...I didn't think so." Alcina replied, though still staring out into the distance. When X made up his mind, that was pretty much it. This planet was doomed not long after he made it. But...the only time he seemed to care what she thought is when she had her eye on someone else. That might be the only way to get him to try and change this planet back.

The Stranger replied to Alcina, "His defeat will be a far better outcome that his success, though you do not realize that now."

Alcina turned her gaze back towards the Stranger. "Perhaps not..." she began. "But wether he still cares about me or not, I won't let anything happen to him that is life threatening."

"If this one comes," the Phantom Stranger replied to her, "There will be nothing you can do to stop it from happening."

"So you say. Still, I'm not going to just sit back and wait for them to come. If there's a chance, I'll take it." she said. "You're strong enough to be uneffected by anything X had, so I don't doubt that what you say is true." This wasn't just someone trying to get a second party to make X change things back. If he was strong enough to withstand X, he wouldn't need to warn about things such as this.

"It is true, I was unnafected by X," the Stranger said, "But the other one, although he also cannnot kill me, he can defeat me."

Alcina became quiet again and glanced back out onto the street.
Sholeh stood there and looked between the two a moment. She really wasn't sure what to do or say.

"I am sorry that I cannot do more myself to stop this," the Stranger said.
[enter the Joker from Warehouse]
A purple car, with a glass dome on the top of it, and the face of a white-skinned, green-haired clown, stopped in front of Fisk Towers. The dome opened to one side, and a clown that looked remarkably like the face that was on the front of the car, wearing a purple dinner suit, stepped out of it. He closed the lid, and pressed a button on the keychain that held the key to the car. The car let out a loud "HA-HA!", letting him know that the alarm was set. With that, he pocketed the keys and walked into the building. He figured that this man, Wilson Fisk, was going to be here, since the place was apparently named after the guy. The clown walked up to the elevator and pressed the 'up' button. The door opened, and Joker stepped inside. He pressed the button of the highest floor in the building, figuring that it made no sense whatsoever for the owner of a building to settle for anything less than the top. Then, Joker waited for the elevator to stop its rise.

"So, there's not much we can do but wait then? Sholeh finally asked.
Fisk sat behind his desk and continued to watch all of the events happening outside his building. The new security system the Spider had obtained was impressive. The cameras located otside the building could pick up things happening a few blocks away. Including the few that stood on a rooftop not far from his own building.
He looked away from the computer a moment as another screen suddenly came on. Seemed he had a guest. Well, perhaps he'd have a chance to try out the rest the new security had to offer. Though after the previous damage to his building, he hopped he wouldn't even have to touch it.

"Correct," the Stranger replied to Sholeh.
The elevator door opened, and the clown walked out into a hallway. There were several pictures haging on the walls, many of which depicted a very large bald man. Joker assumed that this was Fisk. He reached the end of the hall, and found a door, probably the man's office. He knocked on the door.

Sholeh looked back to Alcina a moment, but she still seemed to be in thought. Sholeh sighed lightly. "Well...I guess I should get back to what I was doing then..." she said. There really wasn't anything to do about this. Definately nothing she could do.
"Come in." Fisk's voice called from behind the door.

"I must take my leave of you now," the Stranger said to the pair. "There is still much to do, and many footsteps left on my journey. You very well might see me again. Farewell." He turned to leave, a the mist that had heralded his arrival re-emerged in front of him.

Sholeh glanced up at the man, then back at Alcina. She turned her head and gave the man a small nod, but that was it. Oh boy... X was ticked, Alcina was geting extremely serious about this. Maybe it was time to just pick up her warriors and take them all back to her relm.

The Stranger left without another word, walking into the mist. After a moment, the mist disappeared, leaving no trace of it ever existing, or that the Phantom Stranger had ever been there.
[exit the Phantom Stranger to unknown]
The Joker walked into the office, a smile upon his red lips. "Hello, Mister Wilson." The clown walked in front of the desk and faced the large man.
