"Who is that with you? I never seen her in any of the files." He asked now curious.

Skuld HJG One of the Doombot's head twitched a moment as Dr. Doom took direct control, "Well, at least you are being polite ..... unlike my last guest. I'm still dusting his remains off my roof. Follow my doombot to my study, where I will properly greet you."With that, the doombot turned and lead Lady Paintbrush to the richly decorated study, while the other doombot followed the French thief. Of course, Doom was monitoring his new guest....
She glared at her paintbrush, "Monsieur are you seeingz all of zis, it iz magnifique!!! ze place iz like a giante showcase of zingz I want" she whispered. The paintbrush floated out of her bag and stared her straight in the face, bristles poited at her sharply. "Paris, if you dare try and steal any of this, our whole plan is going to be ruined! and trust me when I say this, there won't be any room for apology" it's hollow wooden voice echoing inside her head. "Oui monsieur paintbrush, I won't" she watched him float back into her gun pouch and tried not to stare at anything for too long.
She was close to snatching a glass case of the original copy of " the secret garden" but she bit her coal black lip hard enough to make it bleed from her greed of money. She eventually ripped her gaze off of it but was still thinking about it in one tiny corner of her mind. But everytime she brought it up, the paintbrush would scold her mentally.

Dr. Doom entered the study followed by a butler. The Latverian monarch scrutinized the book in Madame Paintbrush's hands, "Interesting choice in reading material."
As Victor sat down in a rich felt cushioned chair, the butler poured two glasses of a white champagne. Doom took one glass, and the butler served the second to the french thief. Doom offered to his guest, "Please, have some Dom Perignon. I believe you would appreciate the '28. And please, tell me of your travels, Mademoiselle."
Doom waited for the lady to drink, sniffing the sweet aroma of the vintage champagne.

Lady Paintbrush sipped the rich champagne and nodded. "Oui oui, let moi start at ze beggining" she closed her eyes softly and then opened them. "it waz ze day of mon wedding, I waz staring out ze window and saw a painter get struck by lightning. I ran outside to zee if he waz okay, but he waz gone. I just found zis..." she held out her paintbrush.
Wooden, sleek, and very ordinary looking. She petted it like a persian cat and kept talking. "It showed moi ze truth about mon fiance... it wasn't pretty. Zo I waz summoned back in ze ceromony and zen ran out looking for it. It started to rain and I slipped on a mud puddle, and grabbed ze paintbrush. Zen all I remember iz falling... I awoke and now Monsieur paintbrush and moi 'ave been causing chaos as much as we can"
"We started small, by stealing famous paintings and zen climbing towards ozther zingz like jewels and even a few murders here and zere" she smiled remembering the joy of seeing fear in their eyes. "Then... we started being out done by oztherz, and we deicided zat we needed more guidence if we were to survive az ze best duo in zis world zo we heard of a place where ze best villains thrived and were ze most feared. Zo I came and now here I am" she put her paintbrush back in her gun pouch. "And I zink zat you would be magnifique, oui oui and zo does mon paintbrush" she finished her champagne

Doom sat and sipped his champagne listening to Lady Paintbrush, "I thank you for the compliment. So, why exactly did you seek me out? What is it that you hope to achieve?"

Jessica made a face. She didn't mean to, not having a mask to hide it after all. But she made a face. Clones. More of them. Well this was just...perfect, wasn't it?
"Uh-huh. Would you mind if we talked about this elsewhere? Wouldn't want want he-who-must-not-be-named to overhear, would we." she said carefully. She wanted to know a little more. More specifically WHO made him, and how NEW he was.

Ben was leading them to back West, the closer to the States they got the better. Hopefully, his contact would be there.
Right now, he didn't need tell them what he was doing or the reason behind it.

Spider-Man followed carefully after him, easily keeping up with him since they both used the same means of travel. The other man could move a little faster and more agile than he could, but…that came with age, right? Right now he was more worried about getting away from Robotopolis and getting back home. There they’d be able to sort everything out. Even the uncomfortable conversation he’d probably be having with his other half about that big secret underground laboratory. He’d have to get someone to help him with that. Probably a couple someones. He did tell Reaper about the thin gin the Museum, right? Maybe he didn’t find anything there. He’d have to ask again.

(Just making a little time skip for Doom)
Dr. Doom went to his own inner sanctum deep inside Doomstaat. The Latverian monarch had Lady Paintbrush go rest in a lavish guest room, before he made his way down here. There was no need for her to see this, as Doom had no idea how what the French thief's loyalities lay. Pulling out his grimoire, Victor cast his spell tapping power directly on the ley line.
As the magical engeries are fully unleashed, Doctor Doom observes on live feed from his orbiting satelites -- more land is reclaimed from the shadowy borders. It takes a full fifteen minutes for the magic shockwave to finish pushing the shadow back like a scroll from the lands the dictator controls. Now, all of Europe has been freed from the shadow.
Underneath the adamantium mask of his new armor, Doom smiles with the result. He checks the readings of the lands reclaimed at verify that they are stable. With a chuckle, Doctor Doom activates his thoat microphone to broadcast to his newly minted Doombots readied for this expansion, "Doom to Doomforce Beta, proceed to new territory and solidify control in each city to maintain order."
"Yes, Lord Doom.", was the response he received.
Overhead, thousands of Doombots flooded the sky flew to occupy Central and Western Europe.

Web slinging, Ben's Spider Senses went off like never before. Turning his head to look up in the sky, his eyes grew big,"Holy Tin Cans...."Ben said as he used the momentum from his last sling to land on a tree.
Looking at Peter, Ben motioned him to do the same.
