Catching hold of the woman, Penderghast dropped the glass figure into his coat pocket, and carried her down to the living room of her mansion, setting her in a couch and draping his coat over her, removing the figure first.
"Wish I knew what room was yours, I'd leave you there."
"I'm not leaving without my coat though."
And with that, he sat down into a nearby chair and waited untill he could retrieve it.

Eva started twitching in her sleep, having flash backs that made no sense to her.

Raising an eyebrow, one leg folded over in a triangle, ankle resting on the knee of other leg, hands together, Penderghast questioned her twitches in the most scientifically acceptable way there was.
"The heck?"

eva saw random images in her head. she saw the moon, and her relection in a mirror where she had black eyes and wings. she started to cry in her sleep, her small frame shaking.

"Oh, damnit. No one better see this, you got that?"
Penderghast spoke to the sleeping girl, before sitting beside the couch and pulling her into lap, wrapping coat tight against, mumbling again how no one better see this.

Still shivering and crying, eva felt someone holding her but lost the feeling when more images flashed across her memory. the evil form of her covered in blood, sebastion standing across from her, and the moon again.

Holding Eva, he sat up, falling back into the couch, curling her up to his chest, petting through her hair.

eva could feel someone with her on the edge of her mind, but couldnt reach out to it because of the images in her head.
the evil her, dead human bodys, the moon, blood everywhere, the smell of death
|

Sighing, Penderghast contemplated "dream stealing" to help her, though he'd never done it on a vampire.
Or on someone he wasn't wanting to harm.
Undecided, he simply stroked through her hair with his fingers.

eva's dreams became worse, the visions getting worse and still not making sense. she began to shake more, her already cold body starting to feel like ice so that her tears started to freeze on her cheaks.

".....allright, here goes."
Penderghast lifted Eva's head, biting behind her ear, and waited for a few moments.
Then he started to feel the dream slipping into him.
He quickly shut his minds eye against the sights.
Her dreams were her own, after all.

eva felt the visions rushing away from her and the presence of someone else becoming stronger. her weakend state of mind tried to reach out to it, but kept slipping away from it

Penderghast felt the last of the dream enter him, and pulled away from Eva, petting her hair still.
"Come on, now, wake up."

eva's mind and body felt very weak. her breathing was very slow, but she tired to open her eyes, only succeding in opening them a little bit. her vision was fuzzy and her body felt cold, even to her.

Penderghast wrapped his coat tighter against her, biting own wrist and pressing the wound to her lips.
"Maybe this well help."
