I knew a member but didn't get involved until I worked with the NSTG in the Snowball as a representative of THE Santa Clause. I loved working with the people, and I had a lot of fun besides, so I decided to join this guild!

I'm pretty sure I found it through a signature, but I've been in so many threads in the past few days, I'm not sure. I'm not exactly new to Gaia, but still have a lot to learn, so this looked like a really great idea. I just made myself a 'to do' list of all the things I want to learn right now - and that's just for now. I already found 2 things here that I want to learn, bulletin board code and copying images (I did see that in the list somewhere, didn't I?)
This thread has been going on quite a while, and it's still in use! Glad to see people sticking around. The 2 guilds I was in folded, so now I am in 2 new ones.
I have a question - is the different style of this page because it's an older thread or because it's a guild thread? I think this was the only style when I was first on Gaia. Anybody know?

 Hello! I found the NSTG Guild by looking in the Welcome to Gaia Forum. You simply get chills every time you
see these poor individuals...
many of these people, almost
all of them that we see are so poor
and they are so black, and this is
going to raise lots of questions for
people who are watching this story
unfold.

 nom nom nom... ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I found it through the crew application thread in the Gaia Job Center. I've only been here for a week and I'm already loving it! I have around 89 posts so I'm making a crew application.

Ok, the poll said to post and explain "other". I was actually in the "Wecome to Gaia" section and someone (don't remember who) had a banner of this area in their signature. Looked interesting so I clicked it and ended up here! Great place, thankful for the banner! biggrin

i found this guild with the search function. I was looking 4 somethinf yesterday. Already forgot what it was >,< and this guild got listed. Ur guild icon catched my eye and i read what u guys are doing. biggrin realy great thing. and i tought this is a great opportunity to learn more and help others when the time comes 3nodding

♣ I came across The Newbie Supporting and Training Guild on the front page of the Gaia Guilds welcoming page actually. Upon seeing it and reading the tag line, I was drawn in and after much reading and consideration, I sent in a request! It was just what I was looking for. And it's a perfect way to give back to Gaia Online by training the Newbies and educating them on Gaia 101! ♣
