"Hello newcomer," Valentine said to the new face, "a new friend?" he asked Sam. His twisted face still on for the theatrics of the place, he had to stay in charcter.

"Yeah! And she actually pays for tickets instead of asking for a bargain! Which is really good in my book."

"Well as long as you pay the entrance fee, you are welcome into my playground of oddities," he offered a bow to go with his introduction, "I'm Valentine, the owner of this humble arena of oddness."

Akira smiled and then noticed that a man was sitting with his head between his legs. Next to him there was a pile of barf. She walked up and sat next to him. "Hey are you okay?"

((Teddy's not really that near the rest of you. He just ran off from where you are. And he wouldn't barf and sit right next to it; not much fresh air to be had that way.))

Sam called out; she thought Akira had simply left.
"Th-The ticket's only for today, Akira!"

Akira came back to where Sam was. "Really well I guess I better get a good use of it. I'll go in and check it out in a few minuets." Akira smiled at Valentine. "Nice to meet you. I'm Akira Amori a new vampire to these parts but not a new vampire. You can call me Aki for short."

Sam continued, trying her best to be a good saleswoman.
"Do you want any cotton candy? It's only a dollar."

Akira smiled at Sam seeing her enthusiasm. "Sure why not." She produced a dollar and tore a small chunk off the candy and let it dissolve in her mouth.

Sam took the dollar, and put it in the cashbox of her ticket reel.

"No problem at all." She said with a smile. "So um I really don't feel like going in there by myself. Wanna join me?" She asked Sam. She hadn't had a friend since she was turned so it was nice to have some social interaction for once.

She paused.
"Oh... wait, I'm not sure if I can, I'm on shift."
She looked at Valentine.
"Sir, can I go? I'll bring the ticket reel with me."

Akira turned her gaze to Valentine hoping her would allow her new friend to accompany her. It seemed like fun and who knows Akira might have just found the best friend she had wanted for some time now.

"Of course, in fact have some fun for me." he said relieveing her of her duties, "I'm sure we've sold more between these two days than ever before thanks to you, so go ahead." he smiled at Sam the real genuine smile he usually hid.

She gave a giggle like the little kid she genuinely was, and led Akira to the circus.
[[lol, it's true. Her first reason in her thousands of reasons to stay celibate was something along the lines of 'boys have cooties' XD]]
