Kimmi heard Khana but was busy dealing with a problem of her own. "You heard the crazy lady! Go! Help each other and say out of their reach! Listen to Khana!" The children started piling out of a broken window in the side crawling out and helping each other as hey had been instructed. Kimmi grit her teeth and fought to keep the fence between her and the zombie child. It had taken out 2 of the children before she had dropped in. It seemed only partially intelligent.
Kimmi had used the gating that had been across the back of the truck as a barrier between her and it. She had no magic left and if she let go of the gate it would throw it to the ground. She spotted the small window that led to the cab, she had already been pushed back past the window the children had used. She heard a sound an looked past the one attacking her to see the 2 children rising. She grit her teeth against the tears. "Khana get the kids out of here!" She yelled hoping the woman would hear her.

Kay was huffing, something new pumping through her system. She seemed to have grown in size during the battel. Her mind an uncorrherent jumble with only one clear thought, destroy the zombies. She barreled her way through them, taking them out with out slowing, she had abandoned all reason and weapon. She instead took then out with her hands, not caring how close they got or if they wonded her. She heard a scream and her head jerked up. Turning her course she headed for the flipped bus.
Reaching the bus she didn't even pause as the bullets flew around her. She ripped open the back of the bus and step into the area where the kid zombies were. Gasping as if out of breath she lunged, half crazed and destroyed them. Ripping, crashing, and mangaling more then was necessarary as if she wanted more of a fight.

Fillup watched as the last of the dead-heads were torn to peices by gunfire and Kay, who looked 'different' "What is going on here?" he asked under his breath, glanceing at the flipped vehicle Kay had torn into. Khana was on top, helping the children and Kimmi was still not in sight "Damn this Hell..." he muttered, stopping the truck and making sure it all clear. The guns retracted and the the controls returned to the dashboard. Fillup grabbed the com "Trucks two and three, stop and return to the fourth's position! Something is goign on and I have no idea what it is." he grabbed a piece of gum and popped it into his mouth, chewing it angrily.

Kimmi watched as Kay went berserker on the children zombies with wide frightened eyes. She had backed into a corner of the bus and was pressed as far back as she could. She was covered in blood from Kay's unnecessary ripping apart of the bodies and she whimpered a little as it pooled at her feet.

Kay finished the children zombies and stood still, huffing heavily. She sensed no more of them. All of the strength that had been pulsing through her suddenly left in a rush, leaving her weak. Collapsing to her knees, she began to regain control of her mind again. Looking down at her hands, what she had just done came back to her in a rush. It hit like a solid punch to her gut, closing her eyes she put her head back taking it all in. She gritted her teeth, So much for no more suprises... "B******d" she whispered through gritted teeth.

Kimmi watched her warily, she didn't dare move. The last thing she wanted to become right now was a threat to the still unstable looking girl. She grimaced at the blood pooled around and on her. "K-Kay." She said softly not wanting to set her off.

Khana had started to follow behind the children, guns still blazing, but Kay's onslaught had helped to finish the zombies off much quicker. The second the children were out of immediate danger she ran the rest of the way back to the truck and jumped through the hole landing in front of Kimmi who was pressed against the back. Her first sight was of Kay who seemed to be in a state, the other side of the truck ripped open behind her. She saw the three rekilled zombie children... or what was left of them, what they had been could only be assumed due to the circumstances... She stepped back, still not seeing Kim just yet, "Kay... are... you alright...?" she asked hesitantly, bumping into Kimmi behind her, she started a little bit, and turned her gun half raised. "Oh!... what happened to you!!?" she asked seeing the blood covered Kimmi finally, and she stepped to the side so she wasn't crowding her so much.

Kimmi pointed a shaking hand at Kay. "She-she........then....and they....everywhere......." She moved her foot and whimpered at the blood that splattered under her. "I want out now." She said in a slightly panicked voice. "Now." She repeated.

(((You got it too? I read it, awesome book! Kept me up all night when I read it))
Fillup stood next to the truck, gun in hand "Kimmi, Khana, Kay? You three alright?" he said, walking towards the truck slowly, a few of the other survivers following him cautiously. They'd seen Kay, knew she was deadly, and were worried she might not have control. "Girls?" Fillup reached the back of the truck "Holy God..." he said as he looked in. He saw Kimmi covered in the dead-head's blood, and stared at her in horror "K-Kimmi? You alright?" he stuttered uncharachteristacally (long word...), hoping, praying that Kimmi didn't change.

((I'm reading it to. LOVE IT!!!))
Struggling to her feet, Kay closed her eyes in mental pain. An onslaught of random bits of voices hit her. Shaking her head to clear it she answered Bubbles. "She's alright..." She left the way she had entered her shoulder sagging as if carrying a huge weight now. Once outside she sat down out of sight and leaned against the flipped truck. Putting her head between her knees she silently cried. What did he do to me...

Kimmi shook her head and didn't stop while speaking. "No no no no. Kimmi is not alright, Kimmi is not ok!" She threw her hat on the floor and flinched when blood splattered her. She shoved her way past them once out side she kicked off her shoes and undid her belt letting it fall to the ground. The gunners backed away from the girl who was muttering to herself. She hopped around in the sand pulling off her thigh high socks and flinging them on the ground. She grabbed her dress and started to pull when Sarg grabbed her arms. "Whoa whoa there sunshine." He tossed her over his shoulder and took her to the supply truck shoving her in and standing guard as her dress and underwear were thrown out.
Kimmi scrubbed herself violently as she stifled her sobs. As soon as she was satisfied that the blood was off. She dug in her duffle and pulled on a clean set of cloths and her spare shoes. She did not want any of those things back. She needed the things from her pouch, but other than that she planned on burning it. All of it. She pulled her spare pouch and belts out. She paused reaching back into her duffle and pulling out a stuffed not so white rabbit. She braced her back against the side of the truck and clutched the rabbit as she let herself cry.

Fillup stood were Kimmi had shoved him, somewhat startled by the girls reaction, but at the same time, not surprised very much. He now had two people crying, both out of commision for a while "Khana, help Kay to one of the trucks, we're heading out as soon as we burn the truck and Kimmi's clothing..." he said monotonously, letting no emotion into his voice. He waved one of the others to grab Kimmi's pouch, and anything else that could be salvaged from the truck. He glanced over at Loan, who was still wounded and sitting in one of the covered beds of a truck. He wanted to punish him, mostly for disobeying an order, even if Fillup knew he wasn't really in command. He walked off about a hundred feet from everything, just to wait and watch the process that he knew, without doubt, would be played out again someday "Maybe I should just shoot myself, after asking them if they want a mercy killing first though" he muttered, going into a depressed state "Those who don't want it could leave, try and survive, but I guess it's hopeless..." he unholstered his .22, staring at it curiously.

Kay took one last shruddering breath and stopped crying. Taking out a cigarette she stood up as she tried lit it. Her hands shook she that it took awhile for her to light it. "Damn...' she said, finally managing to lit it. Taking a long draw, she began to steady herself. Taking one last second to gain control she walked out from behind the flipped truck and headed over to her damanged bike. Arriving at it she righted it and looked at the damaged. She groaned loadly. "Crap!"

A loud commotion could be heard from by the supply truck. "NO!" Kimmi's voice yelled sounding more angry than any of them had ever heard her. Kimmi clutched one of the children to her, blocking the gunner with his gun pulled from getting a clean shot at the child. "Kimmi, move away from her. It has to be done." Kimmi shook her head and backed away from him the child clinging to her leg and behind her. "Stay away from her!" The gunner moved forward and Kimmi planed her foot between his legs and scooped up the dropped gun. She again blocked the way to the girl from a small group of gunners who were unsure how to handle this. She held the gun stead and cocked "No one is shooting her."
Sarg had gone to fetch Fillup, Kay, hell he'd even settle for Khana. They had to get Kimmi away from the child. She was bitten and could turn at any minute.

Fillup was still staring at his gun when he heard Sarg calling his name "What could it be about?" he asked himself, popping his gum to bring him out of his depression. It was one of the only things that could. He met up with the old-veteran quickly, gathering that one of the kids had been bitten, and Kimmi was protecting it. Fillup sighed deeply, all the way from the bottom of his soul it came, and holstered his pistol "I'll see to it..." he muttered witha frown. Fillup didn't have to look far, even in the darkening sunlight he could see Kimmi's pink hair. He pushed past two of the survivors and stood across from Kimmi. He stared into her eyes, making sure he was right infront of the gun "Kimmi, you know it has to be done.."
