Jacob wanted to slap her in the face or something along those lines to wake her up. Couldn't she see her life was at stake hanging around her so called 'boyfriend'. Looks like he'd have to bring out the heavy artillery.
"So, if he's your boyfriend....have you guys.....kissed? On the lips? Has he held you against him so tightly that you could feel the warmth? Oh....sorry my bad, he CAN'T be warm....HE'S A COLD BLOODED KILLING MACHINE!" Jacob shouted the last bit so loudly that a couple of people stopped and looked at him oddly.
He was about to continue when Sam had walked up.
"What's going on here Jacob?" He eyed him warily.

Keda watched him and then stalked her way closer to the next largest buck. she sprung at it much like Edward when she was about 5ft away, she took it down with her mouth on her neck killing it instantly. withing a few moments she drained it
looking up she smiled at Edward, a real smile this time
she started to go north to where the rest of the deer had gone, she pause a confused look came over her face
"Edward? do..are...does....can...can every vam...vampire tell where every person and large animal on this content is every moment? and then the people on the other contents, which town they are in or closest to? I can see in my head where the deer are this very minuet, and also the people on the other side of America......it feels weird....like if I wanted to see anybody I would be able to.....like it'd be easy for me to track them down...I don't know....it doesn't make since.....is it the same for all vam...vampires?"
Keda started foreword again after the deer and located them in mila-seconds and took down another buck and drained in in the blink of an eye

Edward stood up and wiped around the corners of his mouth. He wasn't very thirsty so he only had that one buck.
"That means you might be a tracker....a pretty good one at that. Though trackers around here aren't known for their gentle disposition if you get what I mean." Edward was now cautious around Keda.
"Personally, I don't like trackers, they are dangerous to our coven." The girl couldn't be that bad but he wouldn't take any chances.

"a tracker? so you mean not all vampires are the same? and why would they have a bad disposition? I don't..... not so far......will I have one? ....will I be dangerous too?...I don't want to be dangerous....not more then I already am" keda said breaking into a sob at the end
she took a shaky breath and straightened up now in a slightly defensive position "don't hate me" she snapped
she closed her eyes and took a breath
all of a sudden she opened her eyes and crouched forward the smell of a human child wandering through the woods nearby
she could smell and see the exact spot where the kid was she started foreword
then sensing Edward was near she snarled at him and Lunged hitting him squarely in the chest, because of her height she couldn't reach much higher
"the kids mine you can have him!" she screeched at him biting down on him arm

Edward winced slightly and wrapped his arms tightly around her waist, took her down to the ground so he was on top of her.
"Keda, calm down. I know the lust is hard to ignore but you must ignore it. You asked me not to hate you, but if you attack that human...I'll have no choice BUT to hate you....and kill you as well." Edward made sure that there was no way she could move around from under him.
"I won't allow you to jeopardize my family's place here."

keda squirmed and scratched and bit and hissed but she could not get out from under him
after a while she stopped and lay there for a minuet
"I'm sorry...I don't know what came over me...I just...I just sort of lo....lost it"
she sobbed at him, and if she could tears would be streaming down her face
"I will never hurt a single human as long as I live" she said relaxing even though she could still smell the child

Edward's expression changed from a hostile, almost killer one, to one that was more gentle and kind.
"It's okay Keda, I know how you are feeling right now and I sympathize with you." He smiled and hugged her close to him.
"I promise you that I'll help you every step of the way." Edward stood up with her in arms.
"Alright, so are you still thirsty? Because if you are....I know a great place for cougar hunting...if you're interested that is." He grinned.

"thank you, thank you Edward" she said hugging him back
"you feel like a big brother to me...the brother I never had to go along with the family I never had"she said grinning
looking up she said "cougars? that sound...well I'll be honest that sounds like a lot of fun!" she said bouncing around she was a lot like a younger Alice except that she could instead of seeing the future see the present better then anyone

Edward chuckled and gently set her down on her feet.
"Alright then, let's go check it out." He turned around on the balls of his feet and took off at a run. There was a lot of empty ground to cover and they'd need to speed it up if they wanted to make it before the cougars started hunting themselves.
They ran like that for about five minutes before Edward caught the scent of a group of cougars in a clearing. They were cleaning up from just hunting, it was perfect timing. They were fed and happy....full of hot pumping blood.
"Perfect....this couldn't have turned out better." He beamed.
"Are you ready?"

keda followed ginning happily
"the question is not am I ready it is are you ready? ready to be beaten in time it takes to take a big cat down" she was feeling playful and ready for a challenge "after I beat you at this what do you say you introduce me to the rest of your...I mean our family...wow its feels so weird to think about my name having a last name on it! oh and by the way....3-2-1 Go!" she said springing onto the largest cougar

Edward laughed aloud.
"That's not fair, I wasn't ready!" He shook his head and jumped at the second largest cougar that was present. Keda had already claimed the largest one.
"I'll introduce you to your new family...AFTER I beat you." Edward wrestled with the cougar that had jumped him.
"I think I made him a little angry." He grunted, flipping over, the cougar was now under his body.
Edward cleanly snapped its neck the first try, saving the cougar the pain of a slow death and sank his fangs into the soft, fleshy neck.

Keda had smacked the cougar on its head to kill it and was drinking before Edward had even moved
her black hair fell about her as she drained the animal in record time
"HA! I beat you!" she said grinning and dancing around
"Awoooooooool!" keda howled like a wolf, she loved wolfs and nothing would ever change that

Edward twitched as he drained his kill. The sound of wolves made him jumpy and uncomfortable.
"Alright then..." He cleaned himself up again, after kills he usually looked like he had just stepped out though, and examined the area. Everything looked safe.
"Okay....we can go home now." Edward carried the dead cougar behind some bushes.
He couldn't help himself, his thoughts drifted to Amanda. He wondered what she was doing at that time....his thoughts always drifted in her direction.

she howled again and started running full sprint to the house giggling

Edward shook his head, overtaking her in a matter of seconds.
"It's not that I'm afraid, it's more like they cause a lot of trouble and there's one that keeps trying to steal Amanda from me....she's the human from before." He informed her.
"But there's one....Seth, he's a good kid." Edward made it to the house and smiled as he saw the lanky figure at his doorstep.
"Speak of the devil himself...." He laughed, tackling Seth to the ground at full speed.
The both of them rolled on the ground until Edward was on top.
"Give in! Give in if you know what's good for you!" He had Seth in a headlock.
"ALRIGHT! I GIVE!! GEEZ I CAN'T BREATH ED!!" Seth choked out.
When Edward had let him go, Seth laughed and punched Edward on the arm.
"Thanks for the greeting." Seth rubbed around his throat area and smiled until his eyes landed on Keda.
"W-W-Who is she?" Seth stuttered.
He couldn't believe his eyes. She was so....so....different but in an exotic sort of way. He had never seen someone like her.
"My names Seth...." He managed, his voice cracked half way through the sentence. He mentally kicked himself for that.
