Mae had returned from the lake in search of better company. Prefering to walk instead of her crazy 'flying', as she thought it would be better not to kill anyone of accident. They would surely sue me for that.. As she aproached her dorm room, she heard faint noises coming from a nearby room. Rolliong her eyes and half smiling, Mae unlocked her own room. Unfortunatly, she couldn't think of anyway to get the hand prints off her walls. When and if she got a room mate, they would simply have to deal. The noise was definatly coming from room 5, the room to her right. Mae expelled an irritated sigh. If they didn't shut up soon, she would be forced to do something drastic. Idiots. They follow me wherever I go. Flopping down on the bed, Mae closed her eyes, and put her hands up behind her head.

Cole watched as Luna went underwater, wondering what she was doing.
He stopped moving and began treading water as he glanced over to Luke before he felt her on his foot.
He glanced down in the water and could barely make out her shadow under the water.
When she came up he stared over at her with a sort of blank expression on his face.
A smile slowly spread across his face as he let out a small laugh.
"Hah, nice." He said as he moved his body forward slightly in the water.
"You don't have any self esteem issues, do you?" He asked as he continued to tread water.

Moon Child gave her an overincredulous look, "Someone would actually pay a million dollars for a dress?" Shaking her head, "That is ridiculous I would have stolen it too." Running her hands down her sides she had to admit the dress was comfortable thinking for a moment she decided to pull her wings in so soon the large black wings were replaced with twin scars on her back where they once were. It was nice to be able to do that on occasion.

kira smiled and yurned her only once more, "would you keep that one? it doesnt look that great on me." she pulled out a pair of black slacks from the closet and then a bunch of shirts that together looked like a rainbow. "you are free to come here anytime and get more to borrow. please feal free."

Luna shrugged, "I've never really worried about what others think of me as. Pandora, the girl you saw earlier, used to be so popular and made sure she always looked nice, but then she accidentally killed a couple of her friends and put one in a coma. I watched her from afar and she started to do hide in the shadows. Me, I don't care if I'm center-of-attention or the one in the shadows." She stroke a pose under water, "Besides who needs to worry with a body like this." She tried to act serious but couldn't and ended up cracking up laughing.

Cole laughed as well at this.
"I can see that. And very nice." He said after he stopped laughing.
"Me, I'd rather not be the center of attention for the most part. Mostly in large crowds, I guess. I mean, it's not like I'm afraid of it, I'd just prefer to be the one behind the curtain, if you know what I mean." He said before turning over to his back and floating on the water's surface.

"That can't be that hard for you considering your powers." She smiled and looked to the two men she was talking to, "You know I never would have thought my first friends were going to be men." She twirled her hair around her finger, her legs went back to a mermaid tail, and she was barely flicking it to stay afloat.

Cole moved his head back a little bit so he could see behind him.
"Yeah, I could literally disappear into the shadows." He commented with a laugh.
"I could say the same thing. Well, except I wouldn't have thought my 'first' friend would be a female. Or that she would be able to turn her legs into mermaid fins." He said with one, small laugh.
"Honestly, I didn't know what to expect coming here. It only took me four years to make friends."

Luke suddenly burst out laughing, his laughter coming out in a mixture of deep barking laughs and howls of mirth "A guy who'd rather blend into the shadows when he can do it literally, and a girl who doesn't care whether she's the center of attention or not when she can look like anything, HA!" He said, half drowning himself from the laughing until he used his powers to make himself float atop the water "This is just...ha ha ha..." He wiped fake tears from his eyes "I think you two have just made this school a lot more interesting to me" He said, still in his barking laugh. Soon after however the barking laugh became real barks. His ear flicked slightly, but not a normal human ear, a wolfs ear. Noticing the change and looking to it, Luke spoke "Well F...." however his words were cut short and turned into a howl as in moments a large silver wolf now floated near the other two, keeping himself a float while dig paddling.

Cole stared at Luke with a blank look on his face for a moment before snickering slightly to himself.
"I'm glad you found that so amusing." He said as he turned over to his stomach in the water.
When he turned around, though, he found, not the boy he expected, but a wolf.
He cocked his head to the side in slight confusion.
He couldn't say he was surprised that he turned into a wolf, but it was just....unexpected.
He stared at him for a moment before opening his mouth again.
"You...okay?" He asked, finally.

Luna clapped her hands and looked up, the night had set in and Luna was finally free. With a deep breath she looked to Cole, "It's taken me 17 years to make a friend." She smirked at Luke but when she saw him change she backed up a bit in the water, "Your a shape shifter too?"
Her teeth were finally changing, going from nice and normal to her incisors being pointed, her long black hair flowed on the top of the water, her skin as pale as always. Her eyes changed to a deep red and her nails grew freakishly long. She didn't notice this of course, it was second nature to her.
She reached out a hand and touched Luke's head, "He can't talk to you Cole like we can, but he can give signals." She petted his head slowly like a dog's head, making sure her nails didn't scratch him.

Cole glanced over at Luna and gave her a similar look to how he was looking at Luke a moment ago.
"You...changed again?" He asked, eying her long fingernails.
He probably shouldn't have been surprised about anything like this anymore. After all, he had gone to a school for mutants for almost four years.

Luke's ears flattened and he gave off a soft growl while glaring at Cole for actually having to ask if he was okay. Would you be okay if you unexpectedly put on 20 pounds of fur and lost your thumbs? He thought while preforming his 'signals' as Luna had called them. Actually, being a wolf really didn't bother him, he'd actually spent most of his life in this form, having gained it while in the pack, but living at the school, it was a bit more inconvenient now.
After a moment Luke looked to Luna, shaking his head out of the petting he growled at her as well What am I? Some kind of dog!? Again, Luke knew the relation between Wolves and Dogs, but he still found the comparison a bit insulting as most wolves did unknown to humans.

Cole put his hands in front of him, palms face forward in response to Luke's growl.
"Sorry, sorry." He said, not really sure what he was apologizing about.
Cole's body shifted into a shadow again, sitting atop the water's surface.
He moved across the lake over to the shore where he ran up the small ledge onto the shore.
As soon as he was on solid ground, he shifted back into his human form and sat with his legs hanging over the edge.
"Don't know what else I can do here." He said, glancing from Luke to Luna, then back to Luke.
"Is it the moon or something?"

She smiled, "Yea alright. I guess I could keep it, it's really nice and comfy." Moon Child looked at the clothes she held, "Alright but I should probably toss something in my closet so I am not dashing between the rooms in my underwear all the time." Thinking about where to go next she wanted to do something but didn't know what.
